Ikgrir felt relieved when he said it tasted good. He took one for himself, and the flaky pastry was delectable on his taste buds. He was also very happy to have something more than the small amount of rice he had much earlier in the day.

"Alright, why not you give it a try then?" Connor moved away from the table to give Eris some room to work, "All the supplies needed are either on the desk, or in the drawers on the left. I'll check back on your progress in about a half an hour." he walked back to the front of the shop to begin cleaning everything up for tomorrow.

"Well, I think we're all good here then. You'll start tomorrow morning. Come in happy and ready to learn, and I'll start teaching you some of the main recipes we use here." He told Ikgrir, heading out of the kitchen for a moment he came back in with a small loaf of bread. "And take this, since she probably would have stolen it anyways if I didn't catch her."

Nodding, I watch as he walks away. I easily find the needle and blue thread to match the dress. It takes me a few times to do a good job at sewing the dress so it was barely noticeable, but once I get started then it gets easier. I wonder how Ikgrir's interview is going, hoping we wouldn't need to go looking for more jobs tomorrow.

"O-okay!" Ikgrir said excitedly. He was happy to be able to have a job, and he was even happier when Aaron brought out the loaf of bread, "Thank you!" he replied, putting it into his satchel with the rice and map. He headed out of the store, and began walking to the Tailor shop. Luckily it wasn't too far away, so he arrived there quickly. However on closer inspection, he noticed that the door was locked. Peering into the window, he saw the Tailor, buy not Eris. He hoped she was just in the back or else they might have an issue.

As he was organizing the store front, Connor noticed a dragon coming closer to the door. If he was of some other species, he may have wondered who it was, but a six foot dragon was pretty recognizable. Walking to the back of the store, he said to Eris, "Your... Boyfriend seems to be waiting for you outside."

I was just about finished sewing up the tear when Connor came in. I thought he was coming to check on me, but I was a bit confused at his statement. It only takes me a moment to realize who he meant and blushed hearing his statement. "You mean Ikgrir? He's not my boyfriend, we're just friends. And I'm almost finished anyways."

[Tigme]

"Oh, sorry l simply assumed, being a ham and a dragon and all." Connor apologized, "I'll go open the door." he went over, and held the door open for Ikgrir, "Hello," he greeted, "Eris is currently working on part if her interview, but she should be close to finished. Feel free to wait out here for her." Ikgrir nodded, and looked around the store, wondering what Eris had to do for her interview.

Luckily, the blush faded as quickly as it came, not knowing why I was blushing about it in the first place. As I cut the piece of thread when it's finished, I call in Connor. "I'm finished if you'd like to see," I tell him, stepping away and admiring my work. It wasn't perfect, I knew that, but it was fairly good for not having used the skill in a while.

Connor went to the back, and picked up the dress. He examined where the tear had been, and inspected it closely. It wasn't the best job he's seen, but it was better than he expected, "Alright," he said, "Why not you come in tomorrow morning so we can start your training?"

Smiling as I hear him, I say, "that'd be wonderful, thank you." Glancing towards the door that led to the front of the store, I tell him, "I'll see you tomorrow." I head out of the back of the store to meet up with Ikgrir. "Hey, how'd your interview go?"

[Tigme]

"It went great!" Ikgrir responded, obviously exited, "The Baker loved the pastries I made! He even gave us a loaf of bread!" he opened his satchel to show the small loaf to her. Closing it once more, he asked, "What about yours? I could hear that you got it, but how'd you do?" he opened the door for her before stepping out himself.

I shrug, saying, "we would have gotten a loaf of bread either way, but I'm glad you got the job." As we headed out I told him, "it went okay, it's been a while since I've worked on fixing clothes. He had me sew a tear on a dress, and it wasn't perfect, but it looked pretty good. Oh, and some of the villagers aren't the only ones to think we're together. Connor thought you were my boyfriend," I tell him, once the door closes behind us.
