Luke smiled at her, leaning on the chair behind her. "It's your eyes. They pop the most in this one." He reached around her and moved that picture to another folder which he named "Cruise" He then walked over and sat on the bed. "These beds are so comfortable. I'm going to sleep like the dead tonight."

Rayne noticed it only when he said it and she nodded in firm agreement. She spun slightly on the chair and grinned as he fell back onto his bed. "Oh I've already jumped on my bed. That's how you start a good holiday!" She told him, still grinning brightly.

He smiled. "You sure know how to plan a holiday hey?" Luke leaned back on his arms, looking over at her. This would be a fun vacation assuming they got to spend most of it together.

"No, I just know how to have fun in most situations." She grinned and leaned back comfortably in her chair. "What sort of things do you enjoy? 'Cause we can figure out a plan for you, you know, to help you actually enjoy yourself instead of making it feel like boring, standard work."

Luke shook his head. "I don't need a plan. Your concern is cute. I know how to enjoy myself just have a hard time relaxing." He shrugged, not really wanting to talk about it but he was an open book. If someone asked him something he would tell them. It was easier that way.

She gave a slightly saddened smile, wanting to figure out why so she could at the very least, try to help him relax. "Why's that? Nothing's really fun if you aren't letting yourself relax enough to enjoy it." She said softly, tilting her head at him.

Luke looked at her and sighed. He paused for a moment before responding. "A few years ago I was coming home late from a friend's house. I wasn't in the best part of town and I got stabbed." He lifted his shirt up a bit, showing her the scar that rested just under his ribcage. "I was on the street for three hours before anyone found me." He stopped his story there, not giving the other deals that he had found out later on. Not many people knew about his attack.

Rayne raised her brows in surprise and her gaze softened. "I'm sorry, I can only imagine how that's affected relaxing.. I'm sorry for pushing it, too. I get a bit... over excited sometimes." The look in her eyes was one of guilt, she felt awful for having tried to convince him to relax, not having realised there could be something so serious behind his reasons.

Luke offered her a soft smile. "You're being silly. You don't have to apologize. There is nothing wrong with being curious." He recognized the guilt in her eyes but hoped it was for asking and not about what happened. "What happened was in the past. I should probably get over it anyways." He said, shrugging. Easier said than done though.

She understood difficulties of coping with the past, she gave another smile, one a bit brighter. "Well, I know a thing or two about getting over or not getting over things in the past. I mean, I was in and out of care homes and foster families from when I was just a little kid up until when I was fostered and then adopted by my parents. Sometimes it's not a case of getting over it, but knowing it's in the past and that it can't hurt you now. It might have left marks and memories but you're still around to enjoy the important things and that itself is important to remember." She offered in a soft tone, obviously speaking from her own experiences and from the heart.
