She understood difficulties of coping with the past, she gave another smile, one a bit brighter. "Well, I know a thing or two about getting over or not getting over things in the past. I mean, I was in and out of care homes and foster families from when I was just a little kid up until when I was fostered and then adopted by my parents. Sometimes it's not a case of getting over it, but knowing it's in the past and that it can't hurt you now. It might have left marks and memories but you're still around to enjoy the important things and that itself is important to remember." She offered in a soft tone, obviously speaking from her own experiences and from the heart.
