Emma had just made it to the king, Bryn and Ari when she heard the king mention Connor "he'll be fine. Your boy isn't going to give up simply because he can. Lads been fighting himself for a long time now ma lord". Her long silver hair hung around her as she walked towards the others but screamed and jumped when sin silently walked up behind her ND flicked the back of her head lightly.

He then looked at his friends solemnly "adoras sister has now been made aware of the situation sir. She believes that adora was killed because she harbored such a strong light magic that she cloaked everyone else who could have been taken instead."

Emma looked a little shocked hearing adora had died but brushed it off quickly. "I know you wanted the lad to learn to live without his magic ma lord, but perhaps now isn't the best time for the wee prince to be laid up in his bed"



At the mention of him being involved with demons Connors eyes narrowed before he coughed up a bit of blood and rasped out "do I........Really look......That stupid? I l.....earn about them......noth.....ing m....Ore". It felt like his body was trying to just give out on him now and it hurt to breath and to talk, but Connor was beyond tired of everyone acting like just because he was quiet and liked To be alone with the books that he always had something to do with demons or when bad things happened around here. Honestly, Connor didn't use his magic much at all externally unless he was cornered or he needed another book than what he had. He taught​ himself rather than asking Bryn half the time on how to do a few things simply because Bryn gave him lectures about things he already knew. Connor wasn't stupid in the slightest. He was actually extremely smart, but he really preferred to be alone which made everyone Leary of him.


Eve leaned against a nearby tree and just stared up at Aela without a word but she tendered seeing zeegreen hidden up in the trees behind Aela. She felt a cold chill rush through her but it got worse seeing the dark smile on zees face before he turned towards the town and vanish

"It wasn't to live without, it was to prove he deserved it." Bryn said.
The King nodded. "I agreed because my son was using it for himself. I wanted him to learn to care for others and use it for that purpose... he's bloody stubborn."
"And has a very agitated and equally stubborn dragonborn that also detests his behavior." Bryn added. "Kai is like any other dragon that follows ancient ways. They care about their gift being used for good Em. You think he deserves his gift back, you're gonna have to help prove it to the dragon lass."

"Even learning has its ties to them. Wisdom turns into pride after all. Opening the wrong thing or even reading the wrong words can get talons locked on you. Sulfur was smelt in the castle too Your highness. Have you touched any books that smelled wrong or haven't been there before?" She asked. She wiggled her tail behind his back and slowly sat him up. "Id like to know so I could take measures to protect you."

Aelas eyes glared down at her hard, her beast wanted her dead, but the other half knew her as a friend. "If I so much as smell a you or any of them, they'll be dead before they can lay a hand on my friends... real friends." She said with a snarl. She turned around on all fours and raced off back to town.

Eve didn't speak again instead she just stood there and listened to her family drawing closer. She heard a deep growling nearby and mentally prepared herself for the pain she was about to endure.
"You let her go. And after you told her about us.....You Evelyn are nothing short of a disgrace. How I ever could have produced a failure like you is beyond me....But I'll fix that now" with a deep snarl her father shot towards her but eve shot out of his way narrowly avoiding his nails and hit the ground hard before her eyes locked on his. All she saw in his eyes was hatred with hit her hard. She didn't belong anywhere anymore. Her friend would never believe her that she really didn't feel like her family, and her family couldn't see all humans weren't bad. In no time she shot back into her tiger form and took off away from her father though he darted after her with a look to kill in his eyes.

As soon as his body was moved blood began to drip from his nose and filled his mouth before he coughed it up. He couldn't hear Kai after a minute hearing nothing more than a high pitched ringing in his ears.

Zeegreen appeared in a dark and dusty room in the palace and smirked a bit. He walked off calmly until he found a sword hidden away and picked it up with his tail flicking slightly behind him.

Emma snugged before turning to leave but stopped as she did "oh! Kai's got the little lad under her claws at the moment and asked for you ma lord. Something's wrong and she's asked for all the healers and yourself. Sadly I didn't run into a bloody healer on my way here. It's like they all took an ale break together". With a shrug she then walked off again dead set on getting a drink at long last.


Sin frowned feeling something change in the palace but he wasn't sure what. He glanced around the room slowly before his eyes fell to Bryn.

Bryn glared at Emma, "bloody hell lass! Couldn't say that first?!" He growled.
Annie looked worried. "I'll hurry after the healers."
The King growled and nodded, "very well, Bryn and Sin, please look into The murder of our friend and as well as the man that was discribed imprisioned. I want to be sure that no other innocents are trapped somewhere behind my back and no one else dies today." He said before quickly leaving to tend to his son.

Annie looked at the men before hurrying off to the servents quarters. She raced down the halls and to the back of the castle. It seemed completely empty, unusual. "Hello?" She called. "Is anyone here?"

Bryn rubbed his head and sighed heavily. "Damn of all today. Sin, think you can find out about that stewards projects? Adora vanished in sulfur, and I want to find out why."

Kai growled lowly, "wht the hell is wrong with you." She said lowly. Kai focused carefully, trying to repress the bleeding internally with her magic. "Damn it! Tell me what the hell is happening to you, you arrogant idiot!" She growled. Her hands sparked again, flickering to a bright yellow as more magic seeped into Connors body, searching for answers.

A low purr echoed through the halls but no cat ever showed up.
Zee had taken the sword and sliced through his hair easily making him seem like a new person. The biggest thing that gave him away was the fact he still had the shackles on his wrists. He smirked glancing at himself in the mirror and at the handy work he'd done on chopping his hair off so it felt lighter which made him wind up purring a bit. He then turned away from his reflection and stretched before sparks began flicking across his finger tips of his magic.


Sin nodded silently​ still having an odd feeling and felt the tips of his ears burning a bit but he turned away and walked off to find what he could.

Connors eyes darkened a little before the pain he felt made him scream. Usually healing himself he didn't feel the pain this bad. But the magic Kai had felt like it was crushing part of him.

Kai looked surprised, her magic drew back and was at a gentle pace. "Sorry, sometimes it has a mind of its own. There you go. Take it easy now." She said softly. The King quickly rushed in followed by two healers. He sat besides his son, looking horrified. "What in the hell happened?!"
"I don't know my lord. His body is just.. bleeding." She huffed. "I am a master of destruction, illusion and conjugation, not in healing. It would be appreciative if you get over here and help him!" She growled lowly. One of the women jumped at the volume Kai used, quickly taking over for her as Kai growled. She held him up with one arm to keep him from choking on his own blood.
The King looked genuinely worried, holding his sons face. "Connor what on earth is going on?! What happened?"

Annie looked around, hearing the quite echoes of a pur. She looked a little confused as she followed it. She made it to the furthest room and pushed the door open, the sight of the prisinor made her jump for a second. "Hey its you! What on earth are you doing here?"

Bryn made it to the location where Annie discribed that Adora had been. He was worried when her body was missing, but a trail of massive paw prints and red fur led him to her burial sight. "Aela... thanks." He said softly. He sighed heavily as he looked at the peaceful mound. "I will find them, I promise you." He said quietly.

Zee glanced towards her before he vanished with a low growl but wound up behind the king. His eyes glowed dangerously as his tail lashed a bit behind him but he was quickly distracted by Connor who was struggling to breath. With a roll of his eyes and a snap of his fingers Connor screamed as a new magic that was stronger than the healers shot through his body healing it and snapping his bones back into place.
As quiet as zee was and as dangerous as he appeared, he wasn't going o let the boy suffer.


Sin stopped walking​ feeling something off in the palace but with a soft growl of annoyance at himself he walked off again until he came to Simon's room. When he touched the door he felt a sharp burning pain in his hand and yanked back. When he glanced at his hand there was an odd rune slightly​burned onto it saying what he was. Sins eyes hardened before he glared at the door muttering to himself that the dead advisor had too many tricks up his sleeve. He shook his hand once and rid himself off the mark before leaning against the wall trying to figure up how he was going to get into the room now.


A deep growl came from nearby in the bushes followed by a roar of pain before it fell silent again. Eve slowly staggered out with deep gashes all over her but she never looked at Bryn as she spoke lowly "get out of here....." After she spoke she slowly turned away and staggered off a little. She knew hitting one of the others in the pack wasn't going to stop them from coming after Bryn completely....but it drew the attention back to her for a few minutes at least. Eve was in more pain than she cared to feel anymore, but after what happened with Aela she felt like a part of her deserved it. For ever going into the town and trying to live away from her family.

"Eve? The bloody hell happened to you?!" He said with alarm. he waved his hand a bit, gently lifting her up and over you him. Her grabbed her arm and growled lowly. "What the hell."

Kai snarled lowly, something completely reptilian at the feline man who appeared behind her king.

The snarled echoed thought the castle, especially the back. Annies eyes widened. "Kai?" she grew worried for her brother and her father, the guard never sounded like this unless she was very angry, or extremely defensive. She raced through the hall, dodging the servants that returned as best as she could. When she arrived Kai had her bade drawn while her father was in a defensive stance over her brother. "Kai don't!" she said, moving quickly to act as a barrier. She looked at Zee and sighed. "what on Earth are you doing here now? your going to get yourself killed popping in and out of places like a ghost. Why are you here?"

Eve never looked at Bryn. Instead she pulled away and turned away from him with her ears flicking slightly catching a few different sounds nearby. "Stop worrying about me and just go back to your home bryn." Her eyes slid around slowly as she focused on everything around them and growled lowly feeling a all too familiar burn in her chest that only happened when her mother was drawing near. She shuddered and glanced at Bryn with a hard look in her eyes "run". She then ripped into her giant tiger form and shook out her fur as her body began lowering to the ground despite how much she didn't want it to.

There was a dangerous smile on zees lips as he began walking from behind Ari. And spoke lowly in the same old language that most couldn't figure it anymore.
But Connor struggled to breath right and focus before he spoke in his raspy and weak voice "leave them.....be.. she doesn't have.....to be human to be....here"

Zeegreen stopped midstep before he focused on Connor looking shocked before appearing crouched over Connor on the bed. His tail flicked interestedly before he turned the boys chin and frowned then vanished from the room again

"Not without you fuzzball." He growled. Magic glowed a bright purple in his hands before a rune appeared underneath them. It shot out a massive force of energy before they vanished from the area, appearing inside Bryns home. "Bloody hell Kitten, you were just going to accept a beating?"

Annie looked surprised while Kai was very agitated, tail flickering as she muttered something in a heavily language.
She turned to her brother. "You... understood?"
