A Kingdom Divided (Amiko/She-Wolf)

Long ago, there was a kingdom divided in half. There was no war that caused the split, but the split was from the humans and non humans. The King was kind and noble, but his fault was believing what others told him over looking for himself. Many people in his council, including his Knight Captian, hated the creatures and treated them poorly, making his king believe that they were nothing but trouble. Some creatures were growing angry and ready to lash out, other wanted to make peace. There are others however are looking on from outside the realm, with similar intentions.

Personality: the eldest child of the king, and supposed to marry a noble, but she has yet to choose. She doesn't love any, and much rather be free to walk around her kingdom and know her people. She's stubborn, kind, and not afraid to fight for what she believes in.

Other: she often sneaks away from her palace to walk the forests outside the walls or around the market, helping those in need, human or creature.

Personality: a jester and a flirt, but very loyal and acts as a bridge with humans and creatures since he is technically both.

Other: he often helps "anni" sneak out and walk around. He grew up with her and often thinks of her as a sister.

Human/Creature: creature, though no one is 100% sure as to what yet.
Occupation: guard in training under Bryn
Personality: she's quiet, temperamental and usually serious, and quite literal at times, most jokes go over her head which drives the jester side of Bryn to insanity. She values honor and loyalty, and takes pride in working hard. However she does have anlove of books and History.
Love:
Other: kaida was found by Bryns father when she was about 5 years old. His father often called her little dragon because of her fiery temper and her offinity with fire magic. Now that he's past, Bryn has picked up Kaidas training, and helps teach her magic as well as the blade.

Personality: She's a bit of a flirt and likes to mess around with others.

Other: She's friends with Anurielle, though she has to keep her friendship a secret. So many others in her little family hate the humans and have been known to attack any humans foolish enough to approach them. Eve has had to make a show once of going after Anurielle but made sure she never hurt her friend.

Occupation: He's a guard at the palace and has often helped Bryn with "Anu" as he calls her.
Personality: Very few people know he's not a full human and he plans to keep it that way. He can feel things a bit better than humans but he never lets on when others are around. He's been a guard since he was only 15 but unlike his friends, he really doesn't care to deal with creatures. His mother was an elf who abandoned him, but even after that he tried to be kind to others.... though some times it wasnt easy.

Other: Connor is very quiet and doesn't really talk much. But what he lacks in communication he makes up for in strength, both mental and physical. Conner is really smart but he doesn't care to really apply himself much. He's usually found either in the palace ground training on his own, or in the library where he's read every book at least once.

'Another dull day at home...' Anurielle thought. The young princess sat in the windowsill in her room, looking out at the bright sky and the forests beyond. She smiled a bit as the town below started to bustle with people and come to life. Ani quickly moved away from the window and hurried into her closet to change into some plain clothes. Ari and Eve would be leaving soon, and she wanted to go explore with them. A knock came from the door before a man with dark auburn hair opened it. "Ready to ditch the palace?"
"As always." She chuckled softly. "You stuck here again?"
"Yea, your father asked for a few hands to help your brother train today...I might be quite mean and stick him up against someone who won't go easy."
Ani giggled. "You're mean to him. You know he prefers to study and watch."
"As does this lass, but she actually involves herself unlike him. Activate the rune and I'll send you on your way."
Ani nodded and tossed a stone on her bed, casting a spell of her sitting at the window reading for now. "See ya later lass!" He smirked before casting a spell and sending her off.

Ari yawned a bit as she walked out of her small home, starching in the sun. She looked over a few houses down and smirked as she stood there for a moment. She headed to the house and knocked on the door, "wakey wakes sleepy kitty! Eve time to get up!"

Eve dropped of her roof and landed lightly behind Ari with a smirk. Her cloak was kept around her hiding her tail and ears as she purred "What took you so long? I thought you were never gonna get up." The tiger in her came through in her voice again as she spoke as it usually did when she was angry or when she was dying to shift again.


Connor was sitting alone in the library looking asleep from how slow his breathing was and the fact he never once opened his eyes. Even when a guard walked into the room. "Sir?"
As Connor's eyes slowly opened there was a chill that ran through the guard making him stiffen and slowly back out of the room again. Connor's eyes which were usually brown were a bit red now. Although he was human, he had always been able to do a bit of magic which shocked everyone. However he rarely used it seeing as how it gave him an unfair advantage over everyone else. As the red spread through his irises a book slowly slid off a shelf near the ceiling and floated down into his lap. As soon as his book was in his lap the red vanished once more leaving his eyes a deep brown. With a slow sigh through his nose he opened the book for the thousandth time and slowly started working through the ancient language that even his father wasn't sure of. He'd been working on understanding the book for over a year now when he found it but he was always interrupted while he was working on it.

In a dark cellar hung a man with chains around his wrists and neck keeping him suspended in the air. A low growl rumbled from his chest as he slowly opened his dark orange eyes to see a man standing a little ways away smiling darkly.

Sinclaire was walking down the halls of the palace yawning and looking half asleep. Sin was usually a cheerful person when he knew he got to mess around with little connor but he didnt sleep that well the night before and just felt completely and utterly dead on his feet right now.

Bryn turned away down the hall and spotted Sin walking down. "Well, look who rose from the dead." He chuckled, hooking his arm around his shoulder. "Late night with the lassies calling on you?" He teased, pulling him along. "Common, time to throw the stubborn young prince under the wagon. It's best not to keep Kai waiting."

Ari giggled. "Ah there you are. Hey I have a more lagitamate excuse, full moon I get bairly any sleep.
A loud swoosh came from beside the house along with a bright light as Ani stumbled out and into sight. "And now she's here." She chuckled softly

Sin groan and mumbled " I wish" with a yawn he ran a hand through his hair but seemed to wake up a bit watching one of the younger guards booting away from the library. Sin have a soft chuckle He glanced at Bryn as they walked "so who exactly is he going up against this time? Obviously not THAT guy"


Connor was completely focused on the book in his hands but heard voices drawing closer. Without caring to look up he turned the page of the book he was on when his brow furrowed. There was something about the page he'd turned to that seemed off. The paper didn't feel the same as the rest of the pages and the ink had a different smell to it. His eyes hardened a bit as he quickly focused solely on the page before him.


Eve leaned around her house a bit when she saw the light before she wrapped an arm around anis shoulder and smirked "well well look who took the magic express to my place. I feel special...So special in fact that I think we deserve our hunting trip....Now". Her eyes were that of her tiger form and seemed far to cold in her humanlike face.

A dark growl echoed a bit in the dark cellar as the man who'd been tortured slowly opened his right eye, unable to see from his left at the moment and hissed lowly sending a sort of vibration through the air around him.

[She~Wolf]

Ani rolled her eyes and chuckled "sorry, Bryn is up to no good, he took awhile to help me out." She chuckled, patting her friends head.
"Ah that crazy mage loves to keep something up his sleeve it seems. Common race you!" Ari smirked, dashing off.
"Common! No fair racing an elf!" Ani huffed, racing after her.
(Got a plan to get to Zee))

"I'm putting him up against Kaida. They're perfect opposites, and she doesn't really care about him being royal, which is good. She also could pester that magical ability of his... and she will force him to take action." Bryn said a little quieter with a smirk. As they reached the library he pushed open the door. "Goodmorning Connor! Let's get this show on the road shall we? You're book will be waiting for you."

[Amiko]

Eve smirked, threw Ani on her back and took off after Ari as her eyes started to glow faintly. Her smile darkened as her markings started bleeding threw her brown skin looking like odd white scars. She flew past ari quickly but slammed her heels into the ground to stop herself as she just barely missed colliding with a guard who was busy talking to someone else. She shuddered hard fighting her body's shift back off and darted away from the guard growling out "sorry an."


Sin barked out a laugh but quickly stopped himself. He poked his head into the library as well smiling like an idiot but stopped seeing how focused Connor was "hey, quiet and broody, come on. It's time to mo-"
He fell silent when Connor slowly raised his dark eyes from the book but saw the red that came with his magic had formed a ring around his iris.

"Hey you feeling alright kid?"
Connors eyes looked cold as ice as he glared at the two silently before slowly standing but instead of floating back up to its place in the top shelf the book vanished leaving a sulfur smell in the air.

Bryn brow furrowed, "that's not good. Connor what was that?" Sulfur usually meant two things for him, black magic or demons, either was bad, especially around the prince.

Annie yelped as she was carried, then huffed "oh common... I'm not a toddler!"
Ari laughed as she fell behind. "Well you're too slow!"
Annie rolled her eyes but held on to her friend tightly as she dodged a guard. "Whoa! It's ok! Don't hurt yourself ok?"
