"Okay then car it is." Layla said. She was not sure if he was just playing off the fact that he had thought about it or if it was true he wouldn't, but she felt like she could trust him. This time anyway. She did not know why she felt like that when there were so few people that she counted on and trusted but she felt like he wouldn't hurt her for some reason despite what he was. She was not sure how long that would last though.

Layla smiled at him. "This is fine but thanks." She said and thought. "I am not sure. I usually just kind of figure it out when I get there and look around. There are always different options available at every festival but there are some things that are always there like corn dogs, fried cheese and funnel cakes." She said to him. "I don't really have a favorite. I like to try everything once so I don't limit myself to favorites. There are so many good options." She said looking at him. "Thank you. That is really nice." She said. She was a bit surprised he had offered because now he was treating this more like a date than she expected him to. She wondered why he was so kind to her.

Layla looked out the window and thought. She was pretty sure there were more people here than last year. She was pretty excited about the festival and was ready to see all of the things for sale and games to play. She nodded at him. “Yes a lot of people come to this. There are more people than normal though. Word must have gotten out about the date. Last year they accidentally sent out two different days.” She said and got out when he had parked and opened her door. “Thank you. It really is okay. I expected that we would have to park kind of far. It happens a lot at these kind of events. I am more than ready. I am pretty excited to see everything.” She said and smiled at him. She started to walk to the festival and went inside the gate that was put in place so cars could not go down the street. She looked around at all of the different games and other things. It was all so pretty.

"It really is nice isn't it? That is why I love it so much here." Layla said to him. She looked around at everything trying to figure out what she wanted to do first. She was honestly not sure what they should do. “We could start with a game or two. There is one over there where you have to throw the ball in the cup… Or we could listen to the band that is playing right now…” She said thinking. “There are so many options.” She said and looked around. A few people she knew waved to her and she waved back and then she walked over to the game she had talked about. She looked at him. “Let’s start here.” She said smiling at him.

Layla had never really been the type to care what others thought all of the time so she was not concerned with her friends. Layla looked at him. “Alright thanks but I am not very good at this game.” She said to him. She picked up one of the balls and tossed it and it bounced out of the cup. She threw the rest one by one but only managed to get one of them in. That got her a keychain so she picked one out of the box. It was a heart shaped one with a cat on it. She put it in her bag. “Do you want to try? You will probably do a lot better than I did.” She said smiling at him.
