[Perfect Polish]

Julliard dodged the book as it was flung rather violently at his head. His eyes followed the book as it crashed into the wall beside his head. Items fell, crashing to the floor. Old items now covered in dust as if they had been hidden away for years so that not even she would look at them. One particular one caught his eye; Amaris and Rival. Julliard turned back towards her, his brown eyes finding her blue ones. "No, I cant" he said, his voice slightly raising. He could see the anger growing in her own eyes at his pressuring. "I can't leave you alone, and watch you throw everything away. I can't watch you drink your life away because your just to afraid to face the world without it!" he said snapping. He had tried to be gentle but it didn't seem to get through her thick skull.

"What is there to throw away!" She snapped, her own tone taking on a higher volume. "I've already been stripped of it all and since when do you care!" She spat angrily, knowing fully well he couldn't comprehend what she was going through. "My ordeal can't be fixed because your eyes think they know everything!" She stated, the conversation getting heated. He was being a jerk, she thought. Worming his way into her life and refusing to remain out of affairs that did not involve him. "Have some self decency you over rated prick!" She took on a mocking british accent as she hurled a pillow at him. Amaris was releasing anger and emotion she had kept inside for quite some time.

"You have so much you don't even realize it. All you want to focus on is the problems nothing else!" he said, completely losing all sense of decency he at the time and favoring rage now. Julliard had now moved from his position of leaning against the wall to a more upright position, allowing for him to be face to face with her during this confrontation. "I may not understand what you're going through, but I do see what you're doing to your self. You drink and you hide from everything like a coward! You push everyone away. You know, I used to admire you. You were so strong, beautiful, and an amazing competitor. You would do the impossible just because someone told you you couldn't. Now all I see is a weak individual whose too afraid to face what's been placed in front of her! " The words just slipped from his mouth. Without though he let everything out to the woman sitting before him.

Amaris facial expression grew sour and bitter at the way he bluntly tossed around her drinkkng habits and claimed it to be something she chose to do. Her blue eyes were ablaze the entire time he spoke and when he let the last part slip, she snapped. "I dont rember asking for a fanclub you arrogsntly little british prick! Your mothers an olympian what more would have to worry about! It's not like you face many obstacles in your path!" This time she threw a heavy book at him. "Your no better than your father!" She shouted finally, tears briming in her eyes. Amaris blinked furiously, "Get out!" She yelled, her voice sounding very distressed.

The book she flung caught his shoulder, crashing towards the floor. The pain of the book was nothing compared to what she said next. "I am nothing like my father" he hissed out. She had hit a button. "He abandoned his own passion and career because he blamed the horses for his problems. Blamed them for my mothers paralysis. I refuse to abandon what I love because of what happened. It's a risk every equestrian takes everytime they get on a horse and its one I'm willing to take" he shouted. His own dark eyes filled with a passion as they found Amaris own eyes, which now leaked down her face. He made no move to leave like she directed, staying put.

"Well good oh gosh darn for you superman!" She responsed with blunt arrogance, her negatice personality thriving off of the negatice atomosphere. Amaris foundherself drawn to rush up to him, more hobble less intjmdating but yet it got her to stand in front of Julliard. "You don't believe I take risks?" She hissed angrily. "You don't think I embrace my opputunrites?!" She inquired outraged by his responses.

Julliard soon found himself face to face with Amaris as she rose to her feet in the twos fury. "No I don't think you do. You keep it safe, you just stick to your stable chores." he said. "You know you could ride again,but you choose to believe you never will." he said. "You hide from people, avoiding them, pushing them away. You could make it big in the equestrian world with the work that your doing with those abused and wild horses. You just chose to not display this natural talent you have!"

Amaris eyes widened immensly. Alarmed. julliard had just called her a stable hand. There was no going back now. Julliard literally stripped her of a proper tilte of An equestrian by declaring that she stuck to chore jobs.

Amaris was affected by the beverage that was only fuels led her unstable personality further into the conversation as it intensified. She wasn't thinking logically and reached down to aggressivly tear off the velcro holding together the cast around her leg. Bit by bit it came off until she tossed it off, not caring what the hell she was doing. She boldly and defiantly glared straight at Julliard, refusing to let his comments show truth, she began to approach her door walking on her injured leg. "You know what?" She spat "You're not welcome here at the academy and you certainly are not welcome in my world." With that, she set off to prove Julliard wrong and regret what he said. Amaris was heading to the stable.

Before Julliard knew what he said Amaris had ripped off the brace and was headed out the door. A sudden fear gripped him as he realized what the woman was about to do. He bolted after her soon catching up and grabbed one if Amaris's wrists, turning her to face him. "Don't do this Amaris. Please." he seemed slightly like he was begging. One reason he didn't want her to get hurt and another, Amaris was currently under the effects of the alcohol which clouded every decision she made. His eyes searched her bright blue ones, which are now filled with every desire to prove him wrong.

She hissed at him, "So what am I?!" She demanded to mnow, truly hurt by what he had said. "Am I a stablehand or a rider?!" Hmmm?" "Certainly I am not a rider because I don't take risks but I am neither a stable hand wno is gifted with horses!" Amaris was angry and it wasn't translating properly. "Oh I almost forgot," She says, her tone changing xompletly in a split moment to almost an innocence, and she smiles for that moment before slapping Julliard across the face. Her face reveals her to be very upset almost on the verge of tears. "I lost everything when Rival died!" She shouted at him, the pain in her eyes and in her voice, "Everytime I look at a horse or try to sit in a saddle I can't stop thinking about him because I know he is gone!" Her voice was strangled by intense sorrow. "Leaving the horse world was my best bet to forget him!" Although Amaris didn't want to forget him.
