"Accuracy at a race pace," Amaris mumbled, recalling every crucial detail of what Julliard offered to help their skills improve. "Speed, without refusals, there's no way he'd be able to conquer that." She murmured, knowing the black stallion was fairly skittish under the saddle since the moment she had gotten him. "Elegant and poise, I suppose my own opinion isn't valid to the judges," She said aloud. Amaris shamelessly let out an irritated sigh, "Is there anything else?" She asked, needing to know so she could begin planning a proper training sequence. Her blue eyes watched the male closely.

Julliard's eyes watch Aramis's frustration seem to envelope her. She ran through what he said, muttering before letting out a sigh of irritation. She wasn't sure if she would be able to train this stallion back to his champion self. "If he was an eventer then yes; it all about endurance, trust, accuracy, response, speed, and the connection between the horse and his rider" Julliard responded back to her. "I think you could get King back" he said, his voice quieter than normal in order to not spook the horse. "You've already come so far."

Amaris barely heard the kind comment. "I'm trying to make him rideable, does it look like I can ride!" She exclaimed with a snap, defiant frustration. Her hands found her temples, rubbing them vigorously, "Come," Amaris said, taking the lead line and approaching the fence side where she opened the gate, her hand still resting on her neck now. Her comment was appointed to both horse and rider. The dark haired girl had so much to prove. She wasn't sure if the horse could do it if Amaris herself wasn't able to ride him. She would have to go to her room to get her planner and begin jotting down notes, trying to figure out how the equation could be constructed to allow her success with the horse.

Her sudden snap made Julliard move a few steps away. He could feel her tension building at the inability to ride which ultimately was the key to King's success. At Aramis's beconing call, he followed at her side watching her hand's move from her temple to neck. Julliard decided to just keep his mouth shut for the moment and let her cool off from the outburst.

Amaris hastily lead King to his stall, using his shoulder to help her walk on her casted leg. The horse nuzzled her as she approached his stall. He didn't want to return. "Well, you won't be able to fit in my room," Amaris reasoned, looking him in the eye. The horse was amusingly ridiculous. Persistent and sassy, the black horse nudged her just a tad to hard. Amaris began to fall back, unable to protect herself from hitting the ground the only thing she could do was gasp.

Julliard followed back, keeping a few feet behind the whole way back. His eyes followed over her, the tension built still remaining until they reached the barn. The male watched as the woman before him teased the gentle beast in front of her. They needed back and forth before the stallion gave one push to hard. Julliard acted on instinct reaching out for Amaris as she tumbled backwards.

Amaris gasped as she fell back into Julliard's sturdy arms. Her blue eyes darted straight up to him. Her own eyes were wide, surprise and caught off guard by the horse. She breathed Julaird's name, it tumbled from her lips. "W-wh," She was short of what to say, except for her appreciation was visible by how fast her heart was beating.

Julliard reached out, his arms wrapping around her to prevent the two of them both from crashing down. He could feel her heart racing as she looked up at him, her blue eyes finding his darker ones. The look in her eyes as his name left her lips caused his own heartrate to pick up. She seemed to stumble around for words but was only able to form syllables after that. He hisself was not quite sure what to say. "Are you alright" he said, his voice barely a whisper.

She grimaced just a tad, but overall she was unharmed. "Yes," She said, her voice barley a whisper as well. There was something about the way he looked at her. King snorted irritably. Finally, Amaris seemed to have recovered her voice, 'W-wha-why a-are you looking at me, like that?" She asked between big breathes to recover the loss of air by her unexpected fall.

Julliard's arms moved from around Amaris, allowing for her to stand on her own, after her confirmation of stability. Her next question caused him to look away from her eyes "I...nothing" he muttered, back away from her a few paces. Julliard looked everywhere but Amaris, his heartrate still slightly elevated. He soon became content with looking at the black stallion so tossed his head. "King really does seem to be doing better" he said, hoping she would leave the question alone.
