Rachel rolled her eyes sarcastically, chuckling lightly. "You're smart. If I were to say you, then you'd know I'm flirting with you, but if I said Ant, then you'd get mad and walk away. It's a lose lose situation, unless you'd be okay with little old me hitting on you." She grinned, clearing her throat and looking over at Anthony. He seemed to be eyeing the two, a faint look of amusement lining his features.

D'Andre looked over at his teammate and started to laugh. Dude, she good. Completely read me like Coach's playbook. He then turned back to the girl, having a sudden realization of what she just said. You just said I'm better than Ant. That's a first. He smirked when he pointed that out. I know plenty of people, family included, who say Ant's a lot better. Really, it's hard to compare dudes at two different positions. It's why I don't get people who make the Jordan/LeBron comparisons. They're both great at what they do/did. But hey, I'll take whatever I can get. He then calls the bartender over and orders another drink. Can we get a couple Hurricanes over here? He nods and smirks at her again. What kind of gentleman doesn't get a lady a drink for the low key compliment? he said, jokingly.

Rachel couldn't help but smile, her personal analization of the guy correct. She'd watch enough of his games and liked enough of his Instagram pictures to know what type of person he was. He and Anthony seemed to be good friends, which she assumed because they were on the same nba team and casually hung out in the saints lounge."I have to go with D'Andre," she gave Anthony a fake pout and a quick wink. Her eyes lit up a little when he brought up the challenge in company LeBron and Jordan. "Finally, someone said it. You can't decide between the two when their both equally good in seperate categories. I mean take Curry for instance, he's short but he can shoot. He can't dunk so he'll make it from the 3 point line." Basketball was her all time favorite sport, and meeting/flirting with her favorite teams rookie meant she was going to ramble a bit. She nodded eagerly in approval when he ordered two hurricanes. "You really know your stuff rookie."

D'Andre looked at his teammate and laughed again when she made her choice before bumping fists again as he walked off to go talk to some others within the lounge. For real. I know I'm shooting to be as good as LeBron one day. Much respect to MJ and what he did for the game, but my body wouldn't let me stop growing till I got to 6'8. Would've played the 2 but coaches said I was too big. I said okay and looks like I fit the 3 pretty well. And why you think he's a Splash Bro? I know Klay (Thompson) couldn't be a one-man Splash Bro but them boys got a year to do this. Curry's contract is up next summer and who knows if KD's gonna stick around? Could be something special but... he smirks as the bartender comes back with their drinks, they better hope their odds of winning aren't... 3-1. He looked at the bartender again, thanking him for the drinks, sliding one to his new friend.

she watched the two bump fists and she laughed, turning her attention back to D'Andre. At least she wasn't the only one who could ramble about basketball. She smirked at the thought, and then checked the time. She frowned lightly. "I could talk to you about basketball for hours, but I actually have to go." Her girlfriends from downstairs had come up now. They all had met at college, and she promised one to help her with a semi final project they were working on together. "I've got some work for college to finish, but we should finish this talk another time." She winked and downed the drink he had gotten her. It would be rude not to finish it, of course.

D'Andre heard her mention she had to leave. He smirked. Such a tease. Pretty much admitted she was flirting with him, just to say she had to leave. I got ya. You know where to find me, referring to his social media accounts. He hadn't really gone through his notifs thoroughly enough to see just who liked his pics and comments, but felt like she noticed him on there and may have left him some likes/comments anyway. He then got back up and started walking around and sipped on his drink. The game was starting to come to a close, with the Saints looking like they'd pull off a win.

Rachel gave one last quick smirk, her eyes squinting in a flirtatious tease. She turned around and immediately pulled her phone out as she began to walk out down the stairs to the main entrance of the lounge. She texted a few of her girlfriends she had a group chat with, excited and eager to tell them who she had just flirted around with.

"Guys, I may or may not have just scored a drink from D'Andre Bennett"

She said nothing more and waited for the replies that would start to fly in. They probably didn't know him as well as her and his background, but she could easily explain. They also seemed to be overly involved in her love life, freaking out whenever she went on a date with a new guy. She planned to wait a little while before she hit him back up though, just in case. so she didn't come off as desperate.

Sure enough, the Saints had pulled off a victory that day. Once the game had ended, he started heading out of the stadium, being stopped along the way by a few kids who recognized him and wanted to take a picture. Sure, he wasn't quite on the level of popularity as his teammate, but he wasn't about to let it get to his head if/once he started to play like a superstar. As soon as he finally got out of the stadium, he got a message on his phone. D'Andre Antoine Bennett! Did you really buy a drink for Rach? He laughed and rolled his eyes as one of the (apparently) mutual friends between he and Rachel used his full name in a text. The laughter turned into a smirk as he sent a message back to her in a teasing manner. New phone, who dis? Once he sent it, he saw his Uber roll up and hopped in to take him back home.

Rachel pulled out of the super dome parking lot with easy, her hands turning the wheel with muscle memory by now. She was heading home towards her apartment she had off campus. She preferred off campus because it wasn't as busy as a dorm where there was constant frat parties and drunk students staggering down the halls.
When she reached her apartment, she opened the door and there stood her roommate Jackie. She had a smirk on her face like she knew something and the look insisted that Rachel spill where she was. "Does news really travel that fast? I was only talking to him for like ten minutes before I had to leave." Jackie just laughed and rolled her eyes. "I'm glad you are finally putting yourself out there again, but.." Jackie dragged the sentence on, her eyes falling to the ground. She was obviously holding something back.
"What is it?" Rachel asked, setting her bag down. "He's known for being a player." Jackie shrugged a bit. Rachel only laughed,
pulling out her phone. She wasn't sure if she should dm him on Instagram, but decided to wait. If she did a good job flirty, then he would send the first text.

Once he got home, he couldn't help but laugh at the fact that Jackie had really gone full name on him. He took a screenshot, carefully cropping it to where it really showed the two messages sent from earlier, adding on a caption which read, dandre_bennett You know you in trouble when a female that ain't ya moms, grandma, or auntie goes full name on ya. You see why I call myself DAB now. #NotCuzOfSuperCam #DABonDatLToday #WhoDat #Saints and once he finished adding the caption, he posted it to his Instagram. He thought about whether or not she'd hit him up, figuring he'd sleep on it that night and if she didn't, oh well. He had his fun, even if it was only for a limited time.
