History D'Andre's story starts in Plano, TX, where he was borh. The city is just north of Dallas, and he had spent plenty of time there in his childhood, since they moved there before he started school. While his parents are very successful, career-minded people, D'Andre was too caught up with the homies. Determined to keep him on a path away from self-destruction, they moved back to Plano before his 12th birthday. During a gym class one day, the coach noticed how talented he was at basketball and talked him into joining the school's team. Ever since then, he has found this to be the one thing that kept him out of trouble and gave his life purpose. Fast forward a few years and he found himself attending the University of Connecticut. Two years later, having graduated early, he decided to head to the NBA, being drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans in 2015, where he continues to play now.

Sunday afternoon in fall. What to do, what to do... oh yeah. FOOTBALL! D'Andre Bennett, second-year player in the NBA for the New Orleans Pelicans, is finding himself watch the city's football team, the Saints take on the Panthers along with some of his teammates. D'Andre's currently in one of the club lounges, taking in the atmosphere of the rich and famous, even if he wasn't that... yet. He went to the bar and got a drink to sip on while he was there.

Rachel wasn't the type of girl to go shoe shopping on the weekends, even if her budget permitted it. She liked going to games, basketball games in particular but it was Sunday, which meant football. She had mingled around the saints super dome lounge before the game, when downstairs with friends and then came back up a few minutes before the end of the first quarter. She sauntered over to the bar, sliding onto one of the seats which gave her a view to the large flat screen tvs that surrounded the place. "One burbon on the rocks," she grinned at the bartender, and then her eye caught a man sitting at the far end. He looked vaguely familiar.

D'Andre was sipping on his drink when he looked over and saw one of his teammates came and sat next to him. They bumped knuckles and the bartender came over and asked his teammate if he wanted a drink. Once he asked for one, D'Andre pulled out his phone and opened his own Instagram. As a pro athlete, he doesn't typically check his social media as often as the fans would like, but he does post and, on occasion, respond to them. Anyway, he took a selfie and uploaded it to Instagram.

He cross-posted it to Twitter and Facebook as his teammate got his drink. They toasted to a (hopeful) Saints victory and a successful season for themselves. What he hadn't noticed was a beautiful woman down the bar who noticed him.

She couldn't pass up the opportunity to talk to him, or his buddy. She got up, walked over and sat down next to him, a smug smile on her face. "I'm assuming your a saints fan, right?" she teased, her phone lighting up from a post notification since he just posted a selfie. She swirled her drink and sipped it, looking back up at him, anticipating a response.

While D'Andre and his teammate were talking, they were approached by the girl at the other end of the bar. His teammate tapped on his shoulder and motioned to her with his eyes before walking away. She asked him about being a Saints fan. Smirking, he answered, Actually, Ravens, but keep that on the low. Not a good look in N'Orleans. This, despite wearing a hat with the Saints logo. Name's D'Andre. You probably know Big Ant right there. Everyone does. He laughed before looking at the score of the game. The Saints were winning so far. And I could ask you the same thing. Are you a Saints fan? finishing with another smirk.

Her eyes trailed from D'Andres teammate to him as he began to walk away. She smiled, silently thanking him so they could talk. She laughed at D'Andres sarcastic humor, even though it was quiet clear his team preference. He was wearing a saints hat. "Actually, I'm more of a Pelicans fan. I go to every game I can. You're good, but I'm assuming you know that." she grinned, finishing her drink off and tapping the bar as a signal for another one.

D'Andre heard her compliment about his game on the court, then decided to make things interesting.
