Sasha chewed her lip worriedly and pet Fox as the shepherd came back to her with the ball, she hugged the puppy and kissed the top of her head, it was clear Ashton had really messed up for Lukas to be acting like he was.

"Nope that is it. I can't do this anymore. I will be finding a replacement for you." He said and hung up.

Sasha looked at him, "That sounded like a pleasant conversation." she said with a teasing smile as she looked at her husband, trying to lighten the mood.

Lukas sighed. "I guess you could call it that." He said and sat next to her and kissed her. "He lost me one of the biggest cases I have ever gotten offered and all because he decided I was not taking anything new right now." He said to her and rubbed his head.

Sasha sighed and shook her head, she kissed him back softly, "I am sorry love, I can't believe he did that." she said, shaking her head. "Ready for bed?" she asked, studying him as he rubbed his head, she smiled a little as Fox happily jumped on Lukas' lap and sat on him, wiggling.

"No my head just hurts. I am going to go get some medication. I can't handle this right now. He can't work for me if he is going to make decisions like that without confronting me first." He said. He rubbed Fox's head and smiled a little at the dog. "I am going to have to make a few calls as well." He said and stood up with Fox in his arms. "I will be back out in a little bit." He said as he set Fox back down in the grass. He walked inside and went into the kitchen getting back on his phone again.

Ashton called Sasha. He had to fix this and he had just the idea on how he would do it.

"Okay." Sasha smiled as she watched him go, she pet Fox and threw the ball, but when her phone rang she blinked. "Hello?" she answered as she pet Fox when she came back to her.

"Hey. It is Ashton. Is Lukas around you?" He asked and waited for a no before he nodded. "Alright well, I may have messed up but he messed up a lot worse than I did by him firing me. I can have him blacklisted at every law firm in the world. No one will ever hire him and my father will fire him when he finds out so there are two ways that you can solve this little issue. Go on a date with me or get my job back. It is your choice." He said to her.

Sasha blinked, startled, "I..." she wasn't sure what to do, "Can I call you back?" she asked, she needed to talk with Lukas, she'd never make a decision like this without him, after all, they were partners.

"Yes but you tell Lukas about the date, and he is blacklisted." He said to her.
