Brendan looked at Chell and then turned around, starting to trot briskly towards the camp, leading Chell there. "Dont worry, everything will be fine. You can hide in my den." He assured her, glancing back with a smile.

"By Chell. Be safe." The fennec called softly, before curling her tail around her body. Her eyes were bright as she stared outside, keeping close watch for any sign of the supposed search party.

Brendan licked her fondly in return, and nudged her forward when they reached the pack's camp. "Remember where my den is? Go to it. I'll be there soon." Suddenly he stared at the Alpha in confusion, when she stepped out in front of them.

Ferra heard Brendan's familiar growl, and trotted out of her den, stepping in front of the two jackals. "Stop right there." She said coldly.

Ferra glared at Chell. "Oh yes of course he is." She snarled and turned to Brendan. "I wasn't aware you being so hospitable to a murderer." The fae stated coldly. She then rolled her eyes at Brendan and looked over at Chell. "What do you have to say for yourself?"

She smiled. "Oh, of course not. Sweet little darling Chell couldn't have possibly killed the Alpha's daughter from her old pack, could she? Hm...I was told not to trust anything she says, so, I won't. Leo, May, get her." Ferra gestured to two other jackals to get Chell. "Oh and Aspen? Go find that kind jackal who was looking for her earlier. " The alpha smiled smugly and walked back inside her den.

Aspen nodded respectfully. "Yes ma'am. Right away ma'am. I'll do my best ma'am." The male jackal said quickly. before sprinting off in search of the male who had been here earlier, despite Brendan's desperate calls.

May bit her lip and sighed. "Sorry Bren, we have to listen to Ferra or we'll be banished." The young fae began advancing on the two, but leaped back with a yelp when Brendan snapped at her, and tucked her tail between her legs with a whimper

Leo laughed and growled. "You can't escape us, Seashell." He taunted, jumping at Brendan and pinning the beta down. He looked up at Chell with a fierce growl. "Whatever."

Brendan's eyes widened. "NO! You can't do this." He watched sadly as Ferra went back inside, and saw Aspen running away. "Please Aspen come back!" He snapped at May when she lurched, but gasped when Leo pinned him down. "Run Chell, run!" He yelled, looking at the fae desperately.
