He picked up one of the owls, turning around to lead Chell to the cactus. "Its actually quite sad...there was a snake inside the cactus we found, eating babies I think." He said in a hushed voice, trotting a steady pace. "Hopefully the parents will accept these chicks in place on the ones lost. There was only one baby left inside when I arrived."

chell followed holding the baby owls carefully

He nodded. "I only hope they accept these chicks." Soon arriving to the cactus where Sunbeam was patiently waiting. "The hole is low enough to reach. Would you like to put them in Chell?"

chell nods and walks up placing the baby owls in one at a time wagging her tail

Brendan smiled. "Ok, let's hide behind that Bush, and see how the parents react." He trotted over to the shrub, crouching behind it.

Sunbeam

chell walks over to the bush and watches

He watched intently as the mother owl fluttered to the entrance, with a cricket in her beak. She hopped inside, and happy peeping could be heard as she fed the babies. Brendan sighed in relief. "Success."
