He nodded, with a smile. "Absolutely. I patrol in the morning, so I'll definitely stop by, early." He winked, turning in the direction of his pack's camp. "See you tomorrow Chell." He said fondly.

chell smiled and ran into the den

Brendan's smile widened. "Goodbye Chell!" He pranced off happily, swishing his tail. Soon sneaking into his camp heading straight for his den. He curled up and fell asleep at once.

Sunbeam

She peeked into the den, smiling happily. "Psst, hey Chell!" She dropped something on the ground. "I'm back. Guess what?"

She sat down beside Chell. "You seem very happy! I got you a...a sort of present. For sharing your antelope with me." She prodded the thing she had dropped. It was nothing other then the owl Brendan and Chell had been watching feed her babies earlier, but Sunbeam didn't know that. She had caught and killed it. "Look, it's an owl! They taste pretty good."

Sun frowned. "Wh-what's the matter? I do this almost every night..." Her voice sounded worried. "Did i do something wrong?"

Sunbeam gasped loudly, flattening her ears. "You found baby owls? I...I'm so sorry...Oh no!" She blinked back tears. Trying to do something nice and this is what happens! She thought, crumpling down on the floor with a sigh. "Oh Chell, I'm so sorry I caused all this trouble. Poor owlets, who's going to take care of them now?" She stood up, glaring at the ground. She picked up the elf owl's body and carried it outside, before returning to the den.
