- brielle's head whipped around the moment she heard an unfamiliar voice speaking to her. she knew it had been a bad idea to come into the alleyway. it was completely abandoned. no one was going to be able to help her if this stranger decided to try something. she was definitely regretting her decision to stop in the alley now. it would've been better for her if she had kept walking. in her state, she was unable to make out the stranger's face very clearly. she had a couple of options at that moment, although she didn't know if any of them would really benefit her. she could stay where she was and ignore the stranger, which might anger him, or she could stay where she was and talk to him, but that might encourage him, or she could go back into the rain and run away before anything bad could happen to her, but he might follow her. with the alcohol in her body, it wasn't exactly easy to make a decision either. her head was pounding. finally, she made the decision to just answer the stranger.
"i was just trying to get out of the rain," bri replied, her voice soft and barely above a whisper. it was probably just loud enough that the stranger would be able to hear her. she was still a little weary of him. had he been following her since she left the club? she figured she would have realized that someone was following her, though. maybe he had just seen her duck into the alley and decided to see if she needed help. she really hoped that it was the latter, not the former. she really wasn't in any state to be fending off some guy who followed her from the club. hopefully that wasn't the case.

- as it started to pour rain, harry lifted his hood up onto his head. at least now there was no chance of someone recognizing him and exposing him to the girl that he had been following since she left the club. as he continued to walk behind her, he tried to think about how he would go through with this. he couldn't chicken out part way through the task. he had to make sure it was completed, or else the girl would go running off to the police and his entire reputation would probably be ruined. that is, if she could prove that it was him and didn't just sound like a crazy fan who was hoping to get noticed by a celebrity.
it didn't take very long before the girl stopped and went inside of a bus shelter. harry cursed under his breath, leaning against a wall to pretend to check his phone as he thought about what to do now. he made sure to keep an eye on the bus shelter so he didn't lose sight of the girl. as he put his phone into his back pocket, he swapped it for a dark cloth, which he held tightly in one hand. he would try to play nice at first and see how the girl reacted to that. he walked over to the bus shelter and used an american accent when he spoke, "hey, i couldn't help but notice that you were walking home in this weather. i could drive you home, if you wanted."
