Shannon
She walked in behind him, the puppy trailing beside her. Shannon then flicked on a light, not really thinking about any potential danger. "I can't wait to change." She said, taking her shoes off.

Amber
She thought for a moment before looking back at him. "How about Duke?"

Chris
I grabbed her arm before she went further into the house and said "sh! Someone's here." I looked around and raised my gun again. I said "stay here with the puppy...don't. Move." I walked around the house to the room that had the light on.

Jared
I smiled and said "sounds like it would fit him."

Shannon
Shannon stayed put, pouting. She waited for Chris to return. After a while she walked into the kitchen and poured herself some water, figuring it was safe.

Intruder
He stood down the hall from where the man was standing. He wasn't expecting anyone to be home at this time and was a bit thrown off. His message would have to be delivered another way. Silently he made his way downstairs, hoping to find Shannon.

Amber
"Do you have any suggestions?" She asked happily. As long as she was with Jared she felt as if nothing could go wrong in her life.

Chris
I silently cursed at myself a bit it's been a while since I needed my eyes to adjust to nighttime. In the marine see always used night vision goggles. I walked further down the hall I was in and opened the doors to rooms peering in with my gun raised checking it and then moving on to the next.

Jared
I smiled and said "he's your dog, I've already got a dog I got to name and his name ended up being banjo." I laughed a bit and looked around wondering where banjo went. Knowing him he was somewhere on the property he knows where the fence is and never goes past it.

Intruder
He had managed to sneak around the man when he was searching one of the rooms. He made it downstairs and saw Shannon in the kitchen.

Shannon
She turned and saw a figure behind her, recognizing him almost immediately. The sound of a gunshot went off and she screamed, falling against the counter. The man ran off.

Amber
Amber chuckled. "He is a good dog. You raised him well." She grinned and leaned into him as they walked. "I'm so glad that you are feeling better."

Chris
I bolted down the hallway and practically jumped down the stairs. I yelled "SHANNON!" I ran kind of slowly past the kitchen I didn't see any blood on her so kept sprinting for the front door that was now open. I raised my gun and swung it around looking for any kind of figure I didn't see anyone so I put the gun back in the holster and went back inside closing and locking the door I walked back to the kitchen.

Jared
I smiled and said "yeah me too, I can have all the fun I used to again." I took my phone out of my jacket pocket and checked the time it was around 1am but I wanted to spend more time with her so I put it back into my pocket.

Shannon
Shannon sat on the floor. The bullet had just missed her. She was sitting upright but had trapped herself in a corner. She buried her face and was crying, this couldn't be happening. Not now.

Amber
She noticed him check the time. "We're you getting tired? We can head back any time." She smiled at him, holding his hand. The darkness would have scared her if he wasn't with her. You never know what could be out in the woods.

Chris
I walked over to her and bent down. I looked at the cabinet with the hole in it next to her. I grabbed onto her lightly and pulled her into me hugging her close. I said "he won't be coming back...I'm so sorry he got past me, I'm specially trained he shouldn't of been able to."

Jared
I smiled and said "no I'm not don't worry."

Shannon
She clung on to him, having him here made her feel safe. "I'm glad you are here...thank you.." She spoke softly, sniffing her nose. Shannon was shaking from the shock of the events. She pulled away from him but wouldn't look him in the eye. He could have died tonight just because of her and her past mistakes.

Amber
"If you say so." She smiled. "So where do you see yourself in five years?" She asked, out of curiosity.

I looked at her and said "Shannon...who was he." if I could just get a name...I could ask around and I could..well..he wouldn't bother her anymore.

Jared
I looked at her and said "well hopefully running a really successful automotive shop, ever since my grandpa taught me about cars and motorcycle and building boats I've always wanted to have a successful business. I mean I can fix just about anything."
