He froze, hearing a voice he'd know anywhere, the voice of his sweet daughter. She sounded in trouble. Without a second thought Elliot was in the air, flying to the hollow, seeing Rae on a branch, he landed beside her, eyes flooded with concern. "Rae my love, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" He asked anxiously, looking up at Pepper confused. He truly was worried.

Suddenly Elliot realized. Rae hated them. She didn't want to live with them anymore. He didn't try to stop her, instead he just lowered his head, and began to sob. "Raelynn, I just wanted what's best for you!" Elliot's whole body shook, he didn't know what to do. He'd never felt worse in his life.

I give up. "Go if you want Raelynn, I guess I'm no longer your father. Just don't forget how much I loved you. And that I would die for you." He said coldly, flying up past Pepper and into the hollow, laying down by Charcoal, April, and Blossom, giving them each a nuzzle.

Elliot ripped off a piece of the rabbit, and held it out to the other chicks. "Here my loves, eat up." He cooed softly. When he heard Raelynn's loud sobs, he nearly hopped out and flew down, but told himself no. She hates you Elliot. She's just crying to get someone else to take her. She doesn't care. He crumpled into a little ball.
