"Yay," Dan said, half sarcastic. "Uhh, Phil, would you mind doing me a favor and sitting me up?" Dan asked, nodding to a doctor who walked in. He answered a few questions from the doctor and then grimaced as the cold stethoscope was pressed to his neck. The doctor checked the monitors and IV lines before walking out.

Phil nodded and helped him up ""it's good fish! You'll like it!" He spoke as janai already started to eat her food.

"Ok, Dan said, eating a couple chips. "Did you happen to get some tartar sauce?"
(Do you call fries chips? I've had fish and chips before, but I'm curious?)

"Of course! You can't be without it" he spoke as janai started to have a Patato cake. "Daddy I am Thirsty" she spoke softly.

"You know it!" Dan said happily, dipping a hunk of fish in the sauce. "Hmm, Phil, you have Janai's blood sugar thingamabob, right?"

Phil nodded "yea I did. Her blood sugars are fine" he spoke as he started to eat, janai had finished her dinner. She noticed phil starting talking to dan more. She tried to talk but no one had heared her. She sighed "everyone ignores me once PHIL is here" she mumbled.

Dan heard Janai say something but he couldn't quite understand her. "Hm? Janai, what did you say?"

Janai looked at him "nothing.. I didn't say anything" she spoke.

Phil had noticed lately janai was misbehaving. He shook it off. "I'm excited for us to go home. We can watch all the anime we need" he spoke

Dan shrugged, "All three of us," he said, "Do you think Janai would enjoy Yuri on Ice? Or we could show her Glitter Force!" Dan got excited, but he suddenly looked a little dejected. "Thing is, I don't think they'll let me out of here anytime soon."

Phil shrugged "she might like it." He spoke "and I'm sure it won't be long.. the doctor could let you go home on house arrest" he joked lightly.
