"I don't know..." Dan murmured, "that's what I was thinking, but I don't think I would make a very good parent," he told Phil, looking down. "We don't have any toys for her, we don't know what she would like to eat, we don't know how to take care of her, we don't-" Dan mumbled, forgetting that Phil wouldn't be able to understand him.

Phil held his hand "We will get it through together.. You and I rasing her Dan" he spoke "We can buy toys now.. We will ask her everything.. we will understand her and love her" he paused "But we can't give her up now.. she needs us dan: he spoke

Janai found an anime she liked she found the boys in the kitchen "Can we watch this?" She held up the pokemon anime with a smile

"Y-you're right, Phil," Dan said, sniffling a little bit. "B-but don't parents have to be married? Or, a-at least in a relationship, Phil?" Dan asked, kind of sad that they weren't in a relationship, but he wasn't about to tell Phil that. He looked up when Janai walked in and smiled through the pain. "Of course, sweetie, it's been a while since I've seen that one," he told her, pouring all of his love out on her since he couldn't give it to Phil.

Phil looked at him with a small smile "Y..Yea.. and I like you Dan.. and I hope you do as well. but we can always say.. you or me are just her dad.. for now" he spoke and smiled at the child "Sure! Why don't you go put it in the Blu ray player and I'll make some popcorn and a chocolate milkshake?" He watch the child nod and run off.

Dan gasped and beamed, then blushed as he realized he had practically just confessed his crush. "D-do you mean it, Phil? You really mean it?" Dan hated to reduce himself like this, but he had lived in pain for so long, the object of his desire just within his reach, yet just out of it at the same time.

Phil looked at him and smiled "Y..Yes I mean it Dan.. I loveds you since we first met.. But.. I didn't think you liked me.. but I'm glad you do.." he spoke and looked at the small girl who was waiting for them. "Dan.. if you want to be.. with me in a relationship.. great.. i'd be so happy.. I will also be happy if we give this girl a good life.. with us.." He spoke

"Ph-Phil, I'd always held back my feelings for you because of the same reason," Dan confessed, finally allowing himself to be thrown around Phil in a big hug. "I'd love to be with you in a relationship and give this girl a good life...with us."

Janai looked at the two boys "S..sirs.. can we please watch the movie now.. and have a milkshake" she asked. Phil chuckles "how about we go out and buy you clothes and toys.. " he paused and looked at dan "Sweetie.. I know this is so sudden.. but Dan and I.. well we would like to be your parents" he spoke and sees the child slowly smile.

Dan chuckled a little at the girls remark. Dan smiled at Phil, then frowned a little, "Geez Phil, she was ditched by her mum barely an hour ago and you are already offering to buy clothes and toys and be her parents! *sigh* What am I gonna do with you?" Dan walks into the kitchen and peeks in the freezer. "Honey, you don't have to call us 'sir', you can call us whatever you like," he told Janai, "but we are out of ice cream, so we will have to go shopping anyways," he said. "I wonder where it all went," he mused, shooting an obvious look at Phil, "I just got a tub of vanilla two weeks ago!"
