Dan smiled, "Give me those keys Phil, I'm driving."

“No I’m driving”he simply said as he went to the front seat of the car.

Dan sighed, "Alright, I know there's no changing your mind." He hopped in the car and poked Phil in the ribs.

Phil gave dan a slight glare “what did I say about poking me in the ribs? Don’t” he sighed as he started to drive

"Sorry," Dan said, smiling and resting his hand on Phil's thigh instead.

Phil smiled and continued to drive to the restaurant

Dan sighed softly, happy and nervous and excited all at the same time. He became suddenly very aware of the box in his pocket.

Phil eventually made it to the restaurant and parked the car “ready”

Dan smiled and took Phil's hand, leading him into the restaurant. "Howell, I think, reservation for two. Or Lester, I'm not sure," he told the host. The host nodded, and gestured for them to follow as he led them to their table and handed them their menus.

Phil sat down and smiled at dan “I’m excited for this meal.. it’s been awhile since we went out.. since we had Janai on our hands..” he chuckled
