Monako grinned, she had planned on Kunzite saying that. "Well' you see, I'll set a calendar reminder on my phone to tease you every day, unless you come back to play again, in which case I'll delete the reminder and not tease you anymore!" She smiled, hoping Kunzite knew she was just teasing and that he wouldn't take it too seriously.


"Oh, OK. I just didn't know if it would be odd for me to say to you, let's go home, since it's not your home." Rei shrugged, "But if you say so. Let's go home." She made her way out onto the sidewalk, walking at a leisurely pace.

[Prince Endymion]

(I was at a(/n anxiety inducing) bookstore today and it was literally a maze of books to close to the ceiling.)

Kunzite raised an eyebrow at Minako, unimpressed. "Both are very undesirable. I might come back to play time to time, but you can't force me. Got it?"

Ami shook her head, "Of course not! It will be nice to get to the Shrine... Today has been quite a day. ...What was bothering you in Crown, Rei-chan?"

(Oh gosh you're kidding! Just as we talk about our characters making a maze of books.....)

Minako nodded, "Got it!" She quickly put on a more serious face for a moment and said, "You know I was just teasing, right? Usagi-chan may be able to persuade Mamoru-san to do DDR at her whim, but that's just the charm she has. I, for one, have never been that lucky. I never really expected you to come back each week, and a year may have been a tiny bit of a stretch for my duration of teasing." She giggled sheepishly, hoping Kunzite wouldn't be upset.


"It has been a rather odd day/" Rei confessed, "Though I suppose we have been through worse before. She walked in silence next to Ami for a moment while pondering her second response. "I don't quite know exactly. Something just felt.......odd. Not exactly evil, but just........false, deceitful. I can't quite place what though."

[Prince Endymion]

(It almost literally was a maze!! And thing is, the guy had a white cat, a black cat, and a grey kitten wandering around too.)

"Of course. I didn't think you'd actually go along with that, it's a bit much." Kunzite laughed. He looked to Mamoru and smirked, "She's really got you wrapped around her finger, doesn't she? I'm sure she could talk you into anything, couldn't she?"

"And she has, believe me." Mamoru sighed, chuckling under his breath. "Wrapped around her finger may be an understatement... But it's not bad. I'm happy to do anything that will make her happy." He smiled, placing a kiss on Usagi's forehead.

Kunzite placed his hands on his hips, "Just to put it out there, I doubt I will end up getting to that point. That right there is a miracle romance meant to transcend time. From what I understand, this was the reason any of you were reborn... Correct? The rest of us? Who knows..."

"That is very true, but that may be what makes it odd. To have the sadness only last for an hour, probably less? When's the last time we saved someone in 30 minutes?" Ami asked. "You seemed nervous about Kunzite-san... Do you think it was him? We haven't been on the best of terms with him for... So many years... On one hand, I'm wondering why we're trusting him so soon, but right now, he's confused, and talking with Minako-chan, I feel we have nothing to worry about with him. I'm hoping the same will be with Zoisite-san as well..."

Usagi giggled happily when Mamoru kissed her on the forehead, returning the favor and kissing him on the cheek, though she had to stand on tip-toe to accomplish the task. She smiled at Minako and Kunzite and said, "I'm sure you two will figure things out in your own way!"

Minako laughed at her princess's antics, as well as Kunzite's sudden display of joyous laughter. She made a mental note to cherish this moment forever, especially because of the pain she knew would soon be coming. It was her curse, after all. The curse of Venus, the one that ended in disaster.


"The last time?.......hmm........You know, Ami-chan? I can't remember. It's been too long I guess." Rei admitted, then continued, "I was keeping an eye on him, yes, but more for Minako-chan's sake than anything. He doesn't seem to be our enemy any longer, but that doesn't mean I still can't be wary. However, I don't think that was it. I felt a deceptive presence, and so far what Kunzite has said holds true."

[Prince Endymion]

Mamoru smiled, wrapping an arm around Usagi, holding her close to him as they stood and talked. "Usako's right. You'll figure things out. Soon enough..."

Kunzite huffed, his smirk fading back to his default expression. "I suppose so... Can we start going? I'd like to be able to talk to the three of you about... Past lives and such." He studied each of their expressions, making sure he didn't say anything wrong. "Endymion-sama and Venus were, from what I can tell, the closest to me in the past. But Usagi-san, you know a lot about this too. I'd prefer a conversation with just a few people, not the whole group. If you understand."

"Precisely my point as to why today was so weird!" Ami nodded. "Hm... Well, if it wasn't him... What could it have possibly been? The only other people there were the rest of the Senshi, who we know we can trust and that waitress. As well as a few tables of people. Any of them?"

Usagi nodded, watching as Kunzite's joy faded, replaced by a stoic, blank expression. "Alright. Where should we go? Mamo-chan's apartment would probably be the best place, since Minako-chan's mom and my parents don't know you. Would that be OK with you Mamo-chan?"


Minako agreed with Usagi whole-heartedly on the matter. "It would definitely be the best idea. Only if it's alright with Mamoru-san though."

"I don't know.........maybe the waitress........or someone at another table............" She said, then added, "If it happens again I'll be sure to make a note of who was around."

[Prince Endymion]

Kunzite cut Mamoru off before he could agree. "You know, I have an apartment, right? I had a life before yesterday. I didn't just wake up one day and start walking around magically finding you! We can just go there. I don't want to bother any of your families or whatever..."

"Oh, alright then. Nothing would have been wrong with coming to my apartment." Mamoru paused and frowned. "I live alone..." He gestured for Kunzite to lead the way.

Ami nodded, "And let at least me and Luna know! We don't want to worry Usagi-chan... If you let Luna and I know we can find out all we can about whoever it was!"

Minako nodded, feeling slightly stung by Kunzite's harsh words. "I know. I was very well aware of this fact. I just didn't want to intrude on your personal space, unless you offered it."


"Of course. Worrying Usagi is the last thing any of us would want to do! But telling Luna is definitely a good idea. But first I'll need to be sure. Don't want to panic over a false alarm."

[Prince Endymion]

"It's not intruding. If anyone is intruding, it's me." Kunzite shrugged, leading the way out of the Game Center with a soft huff.

Mamoru watched him leave before starting to follow. He turned to Minako. "I don't think he meant that the way it sounded... Saying how fast he went from teasing to being a grump, I'd say he's a bit unstable with himself..."

"Well, If you just tell Luna, she'll do the research and unless she finds anything she won't report it. No panic and double checking!" Ami smiled.
