Sailor Moon 1x1 with me and Ami-chan

[Amethyst The Gem]

Usagi bounced gleefully along, her free arm swinging back and forth in sync with her skips. "You can go first this time, that way you set the score to beat!" She said in excitement, hoping that maybe if she saw his score first, it would give her motivation.


Minako laughed gaily, and said, "Oh, come on! Surely you-" But mid-sentence, the joyful blonde cut herself short. She had been meaning to say, Surely you remember, but at the last moment, she hesitated, and instead said, "Can dance! And even if you can't, DDR isn't so much dancing as it is just stepping! You'll be good at it!" She assured, and thought to herself, "Thank goodness. I doubt he'd want to be reminded of that...." For Minako had remembered a long ago ball in the Silver Millennium, where they had danced together, at Kunzite's request.

Rei laughed, and nodded. "I will definitely agree with you on that! Frankly I believe that if permitted, you would probably turn a good sized house into your own personally library!"


(Hope what I had Minako say/think was OK with you, thought it might add a bit of an interesting backstory if Kunzite truly was a good dancer in the past, as well as swordsman)

[Prince Endymion]

Mamoru strode alongside Usagi, noticeably much more calm than the bouncing bunny holding his hand. "Alright, Usako... But you have to tell me which song to do. I know none of them!"

"Doubt it." Kunzite gave Minako a suspicious look. She was about to say something different, he could hear it in her voice. There was a certain pause before she continued that told him she decided to change her wording around something. Curious as he was, he decided to leave it. "I'll try. Just once."

Ami smiled, "I think you'd be right about that Rei-chan! If given the chance, I would fill my whole house with as many books as I possible could!"

(You're good! I like that idea honestly. With someone who's base emotion is just -_- it certainly is interesting.)

"OK!" Usagi agreed, bouncing over to the DDR machine. She quickly scrolled through the list of songs, which varied from heavy metal, to bright, perky pop songs, and even a few songs in English, none of which Usagi knew nor understood. "Hmm........how about........this one!" She clicked on a song she knew and loved, which also just so happened to be a Three Lights song.


"That's the spirit!" Minako cheered, standing up, and grabbing her purse. "It's downstairs in the arcade, let's go! Usagi-chan and Mamoru-san are already there. Knowing Usagi-chan, she's probably already dragged Mamoru-san into it, so you won't be alone."


"I don't doubt it!" Rei laughed, "You'd have a library full of books of all kinds! I would probably have a decent amount of books, but certainly not a whole library."

[Prince Endymion]

Mamoru read the title and artist and sighed softly, "Three Lights? Alright, whatever you say, Usa." He pressed start and prepared himself to play the exhausting game once again.

Kunzite stood, seeing Minako stand as well. "Alright... Downstairs we go, I suppose. I'm sure Mamoru-sama is much better than I will be." He started his way down the stairs, seeing Mamoru and Usagi by one of the machines, he went over there, expecting Minako to follow behind.

The song started and Mamoru worked to keep up with all of the arrows flying across the screen.

Ami giggled, "I would get to the point where I wouldn't even have shelves, I'd just stack them up as neatly as possible to the point where it seems like the books are the walls!"

(The song I picked was Todokanu Omoi, it's one they sang in the anime, but I figured it might be manga canon too)

Usagi clapped and giggled as Mamoru quickly moved his feet from square to square, gaining more points with each correct step. She began to hum along with the song, enjoying the moment.

"He is quite good at it, even bested Mako-chan, who is the best of us girls at this game, and boy was she surprised! But I'm sure you'll be good at it too." Minako assured, smiling.

"Imagine your whole house being a book maze. And changing all the time as you move books around. That would be a sight."

(That's right, this is manga canon... I always forget, Manga, 90's anime and Crystal tend to blur sometimes.)

"If he bested you with that, how do you expect me to beat you, or you beat me? That looks too easy, even for me!" Kunzite commented, gesturing to Mamoru..

As soon as the song was over, Mamoru got off of the machine, gesturing to Usagi, "Your turn. Seems there's a line now! Might not get to my second turn." He chuckled.

"If I ever invited any of you over, i could make a whole labyrinth and you'd have to find your way through! And each time I could change it! All made of books!" Ami laughed.

"Oh? Now is that what you think? Earlier you said you couldnt do it, now you call it easy! We'll see about that! We'll all do the same song, and see who gets the highest score!" Minako quickly wrote down Mamoru's score, then smiled at Usagi. "Your turn."

Usagi excitedly stepped onto the pad of the flashy arcade game, selected the same song she had for Mamoru, and began to dance. After the end screen flashed on, she wrote her (rather low) score onto the paper of Minako's, and said, "alright, who's next? Minako-chan? Or do you want to go last?"

"Oh dear.......what have I started?" Rei laughed, shaking her head. "it will become Tokyo's most visited attraction. Mizuno Ami's ever-changing labyrinth of books!"

"It literally stepping on squares. How hard can that be?" Kunzite asked. He peered over at the sheet, "Mamoru-sama did better than Usagi-san... You go first. I'm going last."

Mamoru chuckled, "It's harder than you think. Usako has been playing much longer than I have, I... Just did my first level on DDR yesterday... And she still has work to do." He teased.

"Oh! Do you think it's too much?" Ami asked.

Minako stuck her tongue out, and said, "challenge accepted!" She herself also chose the same song, then quickly got to work trying to beat the current high score of the group, which without a doubt was Mamoru's. "One more combo........and done!" She stepped off the pad, and compared the score. "Alrighty......well, I beat Usagi-chan, but Mamoru-san is still in first."


Usagi nodded and giggled, "it's hard! Mamo-chan is good at it though! He said it was just luck, but he's beat me twice now! So has Minako-chan." Usagi glanced over ay the paper, "and now I'm in last again......oh well! I'll try harder next time!"

"What? Oh, no! It's fine! I was just laughing because I was joking at first! It's a cute idea, really! Don't know as if there would be enough books in a library to do that, unless you laid one book end-to-end and I had to follow a path that way."

[Prince Endymion]

Kunzite shrugged, "You're not in last for long... How do I even do this?" He stood on the pad and looked at the song. "What kind of song is this? What kind of group calls themselves Three Lights? That's just... Somewhat of a sad name."

"It's alright Usako, maybe you'll win next time!" Mamoru smiled.

Ami gave Rei a serious glance, narrowing her eyes, "You underestimate how many books I could have, Rei-chan."
