Logan listened to Aido speak his face being filled with more and more concern as he continued. Logan let out a small sigh glancing at Ayumi and Piper. "So keep her indoors then..." he said softly looking at Aido once again. He nodded once again trying to comprehend everything. They didn't know where it came from so that wasn't a good thing. "Hm....that's awful honestly....." he said. "So...what about Ayumis brother?" He asked his voice still keeping quiet.

Piper smiled nodding as Ayumi spoke accepting and returning her last hug. Piper kept smiling until Ayumi asked what she did. The girl visibally paled and took a step back. "You might ask Aido....he knows more about it than I do..." she said softly. "All I know is that there is a virus spreading and I'm not aloud to leave the house." She said softly keeping her voice low so only Ayumi could hear. She wasn't exactly sure if she was suppose to tell her, but she knew Logan would end up telling her in the end anyways.

'' Hmm...Ok then... I just wish things would... I don't no, be....normals, for once? Everytime me and logan return here, something seems to be wrong...'' she sighed, before quietly returning to logan's side.

The male shook his head. '' No idea. Dissapeared after he found my brother was dead. Poor thing looked a bit lost.... but otherwise,
no idea where he went. Covered his tracks to, I haven't been able to find his scent anywhere. Yes, though. You do need to keep her inside, with any possible points of entry locked. Only have one key. Oh, and try not to leave her unattended for too long. Those...things, don't seem to enjoy stopping until they retrieve what they want. I can't even let Poor Piper into the garden... Anyways,
stay here if you wish, but right now I'm not sure it's any safer than anywhere else. All the guards are confined to their rooms until further notice, and confirmation they don't have the virus.

Logan listened to him his brows stitching together for a moment. "That's....odd." He said softly listening as Aido told him the precautions to take. "Well, we probably should stay here then." He said rubbing the back of his neck slightly. "If you don't mind. The windows at my house don't lock...the doors do but when I was a kid we had to deal with people sneaking in constantly through the windows." He said before glancing at Ayumi as she walked over to him. He put an arm around her and pulled her close.

Piper nodded. "Me too...It seemed we have the worse luck possible." She said softly watching as Ayumi walked back over to Logan. She took this opportunity and walked up behind Aido putting her arms around him resting her head on his back almost like a kid. She didn't say anything, she just held onto him knowing he was having a conversation.

She stayed silent, hearing their conversation. So there was a disease going around...and it seemed like a rather dangerous one at that. She sighed, watching aido walk off. ''So I'm guessing that means we aren't going to be able to go out and do stuff then...'''

''Be my guest, logan. There are plenty of spare rooms around here. Get settled in, and do as you please. I've got to continue working on trying to figure out patient zero, the origins of the virus, and how it spreads. 'Please try and stay out of contact with anyone with the virus, if possible. Like i said, we don't even know how it spreads, wether it's air, blood/food, or if it;s transmitted by contact with those with the disease...'' the male then walked away, back off to his study.

Logan nodded watching as Aido walked away. He gave Piper a small smile waving to her as she walked away as well. "Welp, I am going to go and get our stuff from the house." He said looking at her. "But you, are staying right here." He said patting her head gently with a small smile.

Piper sighed softly listening to him. He seemed to of completely ignored her which was something he seemed to of been doing a lot lately. She bet that while he was working, she could walk out of the castle and he wouldn't even notice until a while later. She watched as he walked off before looking at Logan and Ayumi giving them a small smile. "It's nice to have you guys here." She said softly before walking into her and Aidos room before laying down on the bed knowing there was nothing else she could do.

The female sat in a empty room the for a while, simply staring out a window...until she heard the door opening. Thinking it was logan,
she had turned around, only to find it was the vampire from earlier! but..how did they get in? she backed away as far as she could,
until the vampire had her flat against the wall-not hesitating a second to sink it's fangs into the nape of her neck. It hurt more though than when Logan used to bite her.... it hurt so much she couldn't scream.

Logan had been back at his house packing a few suitcases full of his and Ayumis stuff. He was packing some of Ayumis clothes when the smell of her blood hit his nose. Instantly he looked up dropping everything. He hurried down the stairs skipping man of them nearly sliding on the tile floor at the base of them. He sprinted out of the house towards the castle. He yanked the large door open causing a pain in his shoulder that he ignored completely. "Hey!" He shouted running over grabbing the males hair making sure his fangs came out of her neck easily and didnt do any severe damage. Quickly he rammed the males head against the hard wall as hard as he possible could. "Nobody touches her but me!" He shouted hitting the males head against the wall again.

Piper had been siting in the room so long that she started to drift to sleep snuggled against one of Aidos pillows. She was almost asleep when she heard him come in. Her hazel eyes fluttered open looking at him. She sat up slowly keeping the pillow held against her chest. "Yeah....go right ahead," she said softly before returning the pillow to where it was. She scooted to the edge of the bed and looked up at him smiling.

The female was horrified in two ways. One-that one of the affected ones had gotten into the castle. Two- logans actions. ''L-Logan!
Stop! He may have the virus but he's still like you and me deep down! I'm sure there is still humanity in there somewhere!"' meanwhile the feral vampire hissed, shoving logan off before trying to bite any part of logan's arm it could get to.

Logan stopped when Ayumi told him to only to be bit by the infected in the arm. "Agh!" He let out taking a few steps back away from him. "Dangit..." he muttered before grabbing the males hair and his hands holding them behind his back. He walked over to the door and kicked the infected out into the world now being invaded by a storm. He shut and locked the door before looking at his arm. "That freaking hurts." He said before walking over to Ayumi tilting her head a bit to look at the bite marks. "Are you alright?" He asked a gently tone to his voice.

Piper smiled a bit taking his hand having him sit by her. "Okay. That sounds nice." She said softly before moving her hair to one side of her neck. "Go ahead." She said happy that he was eating and that he wasn't neglecting his own well being for his work. "Wait...you said you didn't see a difference between your and the blood of the infected...does that mean that you're...." she didn't even want to say it. It made her feel sick.

She winced as he tilted her head; the slightest movement caused intense pain. '''I-It hurt a lot, but....other than that and being tired...I'm pretty sure I'm fine...'' the female frowned though, looking away. ''Though nobody has had my blood sense I returned to be human...I was hoping the first one to take my blood now that i'm human against was going to be you...'' she sighed, looking at his arm.
''Definetly does hurt though...why do you think that is? It hurt more than any time you ever bit me...and it hurt more than the ex-kinds bite too..''

The male frowned. She made a good point...what if.... shaking the thought aside, he tried to come up with different reasoning.'' I don't think so...maybe it doesn't affect the blood. Maybe it's not present there...maybe it simply affects the brain without showing up in the blood-stream.''
