Finally after days of travel, they reached the gates to Aido's kingdom. Though on arrival, she immediatly noticed something of high concern- upon the gates were numerous warning signs, and danger tape,boldly displaying the words, 'do not cross', and, 'danger zone'. '' Logan...my love, why does it seem as if everytime we return here something is wrong?'' she asked, frowning as she walked up to the gate. [color=#80BF00][/color]

With a huff, the male placed his head in his palms. He just couldn't figure it out. Where did this virus come from? How did it start,
and how is it contracted? The air? Blood? LIke how poison ivy is transmitted? The male was stumped. He just didn't understand. Why this kingdom? They had just gotten back to normal too..

Logan walked with Ayumi as they approached the gates noticing everything before Ayumi had even said anything. He had hold of her hand as they entered. "I don't know...." he muttered curious about what exactly what was going on. The town seemed rather empty the town not nearly as packed as it normally was. He was rather happy to be home, but maybe they should go see Aido very quickly before actually going home. "Lets go." He said softly.

It had been around a week and a half since the whole incident with Yuki. Everything had calmed down for a few days until a new problem arose. It seemed that Aido had been really stressed since and Piper had been doing her best to comfort him but nothing she did seemed to help. Piper walked in the bedroom and sat down next to him placing a hand on his back rubbing it a bit. "Hey...its alright..." she said softly although she knew that was a lie.

''Alright! How are things alright! three humans have come up missing within the last few days! The guards can't locate them, especially considering half of the guards have this virus! We don't even know if those poor humans are alive or dead! Nothing here is alright!
Nothing! This town might as well be a living curse!''' with a sigh, the male laid back on the bed. ''Maybe this town is cursed. Maybe our efforts are pointless. Perhaps we should just let the town destroy its self from inside out, until the walls are nothing more than the only reminants of the town.''

Logan continued walking very alert of his surroundings considering all the signs. Well, apparently not very much so because someone had been able to get close to them. He glanced back as Ayumi gripped his hand tighter and saw a vampire had grabbed her. Quickly he yanked Ayumi away from the male punching his straight in the nose sending him to the ground. Quickly he grabbed her hand again rushing to the castle. He didn't bother knocking considering that vampire and a few others seemed to of been following them. "That was...weird..." he said softly looking at her. "Are you alright?" He asked.

Piper jumped back a bit as he started shouting jerking her hand away. "I'm sorry...I know it's not alright..I know that all too well." She said softly looking at him as he layed down. She shook her head slightly at what he had said. "No, we can't do that..." she said softly before laying down next to him snuggling against his chest. "I know everything isn't fine...that I can barely leave the house anymore....but don't lose hope just yet okay..." she said softly looking up at him.

''Y-ya...I'm fine...'' the female spoke, a bit worn out from the running. They had ran quite the distance. ''Though that man had some rather claw-like nails...'' she spoke, looking at a few scratches on her arm. ''' Your right.. it was weird though.... that man was...different then other vampires...even the ones that aren't generally friendly to begin with.

The male sighed, when a scent hit his nose. Human and a vampire...familiar ones though... then he recalled what day it was. ''Piper,
it appears Logan and Ayumi have returned....and Ayumi is human once more. We should go greet them....but mostly we need to make sure they are both alright. If the carriers can't get a human because they're already claimed, they will often try to fight the other vampire for claiming rights.. like dogs fighting for dominance. ''

Logan frowned a bit as she spoke taking her and pulling her into his chest giving her a small hug. "That's good...." he said referring to when she said she was alright. He sighed softly pulling out of it. "I don't know what the hell that was though." He said softly shaking his head a bit. He took her arm gently and examined the rather deep scratches. "Hm....." he let out before sighing softly. "We'll just have to ask Aido." He said before kissing her briefly.

Piper kept hold of him as he spoke only to sit up. She nodded as he spoke furrowing her brow slightly. "Hm, it really has gotten bad hasn't it.." she said knowing how bad it was. It was like the walking dead out there. She leaned over giving him a small kiss before standing up. She grabbed his hands and pulled him up to stand with her. "Lets to greet them then." She said softly before gripping his hand walking out of the room.

The male walked down the stairs, hand in hand with piper until he was forced to release as Ayumi hugged piper. With a small grin and a head shake, he walked up to logan. '' Welcome back, Logan.... I do hope you and Ayumi are quite alright.... but you really shouldn't have entered, seeing the signs on the gate should have been plenty of warning.''

Logan shook his head a bit. "I mean when he went for you....I thought that was against the law." He said before looking up as he saw Piper and Aido. Ayumi left his grasp very quickly and he couldn't help but smile. He looked at Aido giving him a small grin. "Good to be back....." he said before frowning a bit. "Yeah..I saw...But what's going on?" He asked his voice turning to a low whisper. "One vampire actually got a hold of Ayumi and then at least 3 others followed back here. They look awful..." he said keeping his voice low.

Piper kept hold of his hand the entire way down with no intent of letting go. That was, until Ayumi ran and hugged her. She smiled a bit hugging her back. "It's good to see you two again." She said softly. "It feels as if you've been gone forever." She said obviously exaggerating and for a moment, it seemed as if nothing was wrong. She loved seeing her friends again.

'' I know right! It's been way to long!'' she smiled, giving piper one last hug before she let go. ''And hey, any idea why the townsfolk are acting so weird? like.. some of them followed us the entire way here...'' her friendly expression turned of one of concern.

The male sighed, quieting his voice so the females wouldn't overhear them. '' A virus is spreading, Logan. A dangerous one at that.
The vampires are going.. a proper word might be feral. They have sharp, claw-like nails and abmnormally long and sharp fangs. They have no sense of value in human life, and will often try and claim the first human they set their eyes on... though sometimes they are picky. Even if they don't attack on the spot, if they get close enough you can also tell if they have the virus or not by their pupils. They often have cat-like pupils, rather than normal ones. The virus has several stages, and currently has no known cure.

stage 1; Infection- the vampire will have an increased thirst for blood and will be more likely to smell even the smallest bit of blood on the other side of town. May or may not have major mood swings, might occasionally attack a human out of the blue.

stage 2; Reversion- the vampire's fangs will become slightly longer and sharper, and will no longer be able to be concealed.
Instincts to attack humans at any given moment will increase, and hunger will have to be filled three times every day.
Might have one specific human in whom's blood is most desired. Increased likelyhood of kidnapping prey.

stage 3; Primalization- fangs are incredibly sharp and hunger has to be filled more than three times a day, varying by the vampire.
Often consider food insuperior, and lack sense of right and wrong as well as comfort of the human when feeding. Generally desiring only the best of blood. Often will feed from their selected human whenever they start bleeding, or the vampire gets hungry. Complete primal instincts unleashed. feel little to no emotion for the human.

Not all vampires are infected though- vampires who had a dislike torwards human, and human-vampire relationships in the first place do not get infected generally. Likely because most primal instincts are already unlocked.
humans have been ordered to try to stay in groups. It's harder to be picked off in groups.
We currently don't even know how the virus got started, and I can't risk anymore guards... half of the vampire staff have been affected... ''
