Logan look at Aido biting his lip slightly. He didn't even dare look at Piper afraid of the look he would get. He didn't respond to Aido, he stayed silent for a while. He inhaled deeply before finally speaking. "Don't call me that, you know I didn't mean anything by it." He said softly knowing that would tick Aido off.

Piper stirred in the early morning feeling Aido move. She slowly sat up yawning before smiling. "Good morning." She chirped before looking at Logan. She jumped up going over to him. "Are you alright?" She asked a bit of worry to her voice.

Logan growled slightly looking at Aido before he mentioned that he was missing something. "I'm not missing anything..." he said although knowing that when Aido mentioned it, he would feel like an idiot for forgetting. He looked up at Piper smiling. "Yeah I'm fine, thanks for asking." He Said grinning like an idiot at her.

Logan looked at what Aido shoved at him and his eyes widened. "What happened? Where is Ayumi?" He asked frantically a certain panic to his voice. He immediatly told up and walked outside immediatly picking up her scent. He followed it deep into the woods. "Ayumi?!" He yelled out for her.

Piper frowned looking up at him. "But he is still our friend Aido." She said standing up looking at him. "You don't have to act that way, it's not like he actually did anything." She said showing him her hand. "He took the blood off my hand that's it, you don't have to freak out anytime someone is near me!" She yelled before realizing what she had just did. She frowned turning around and sitting down her back facing him.

He would've killed you in his blood lust.. your blood is very special.. and he hasn't desired ayumi's blood ever since she became a vampire. beleive me, it bothers them both to some extent...though sometimes i do ..er..did..admire their relationship. it is one of the greatest shows of love a vampire can give, sharing their blood to the one they love most...even if the vampires don't realize it's meaning...there is always still a feeling it means something important.''

she had stopped in a grotto of trees, having fallen asleep there while crying. she was still sleeping, as if never wanting to return to the nightmare she had escaped from to the dreamworld.

Logan wondered through the woods trying to find her. He followed her scent finding her sitting there sleeping. He walked over to her lifting her hand and returning the ring to her finger before picking her up. "I'm so sorry." He said carrying her to the cabin and walking past Aido and Piper into a room laying her down on a bed before sitting at the end of the bed.

Piper listened to what he said and sighed softly keeping her back to him. "I know what could of happened, but it didn't Aido." She said softly. "I guess I just wish, you didn't have to protect me all the time, I feel like I am being such a burden on you." She said keeping her head down. That was the truth. She didn't like how protective he was and how he always seemed to need to save her no matter what she does. She inhaled deeply feeling like crying.

''it's not your fault, piper. besides...i enjoy being able to protect you. though if you really wished to not need protecting..well...there is one option, but i understand you don't like that idea..''he spoke, watching as logan returned with ayumi. hmph. wonder what her reaction will be when she wakes up, ''hey. piper. i think you and your father and i should go get some breakfast somewhere.'' he spoke, going to go wake up her father.

she stirred slightly, feeling the movement of something, but she didn't wake quite yet. she wasn't ready to return to the real world yet.

Logan sat at the end of the bed sighing softly wanting her to wake up. He wanted to hold her and tell her how sorry he was. He stood up and walked over leaning forward and kissing her softly. It worked in movies maybe it would work. That was when he let out a small snort, yeah right. He returned to the end of the bed waiting.

Piper sat her back facing him. She didn't want to look at him. She didn't dare look at him. "I like it when you save me Aido, and I love you," she said softly before he talked about the other option. The only things she could think of was him turning her or them breaking up. And she didn't like either of those options. She didn't want to be a vampire because something like what happened to Logan could happen to Aido and then breaking up? That was not an option, that would tear her up inside. She wouldn't know what to do. "Okay." She said simply smiling up at him.
