He felt Adrian go up behind him and he felt him adjust his position he held. "i told you I am not good at this!" He told him and he smiled in glee when he had made it the center. "Yay! Did you see that?" He asked, acting like he was the one who did it.

Adrian smiled a bit at his enthusiasm. “If you ask me, I think you’re doing just fine,” he said ruffling the small boys hair. “But I’ll be even more impressed if you do it on your own,” he said circling him slowly staying behind him so he could shoot. “Remember what I told you,” he said.

[Celliur]

He tried to arch his back and he aimed above, he let go and the arrow had landed a bit away from the center. "I did it!" He grinned. "See that?"

Adrian smiled a bit at him. “Good good,” he said liking that he was catching on fast. “But it’s not good enough. I want it in the middle before you leave here,” he said giving the man a swift pat on the back before moving on.

"But that's impossible!" He said and he tried to do it again, but it was the same result

Soon enough everyone but Sam and Adrian had left. “Arch your back, keeping a firm stance,” he said putting his foot in between his legs pushing them apart. “Don’t put your feet so close together, you’ll lose your balance,” he said knowing that putting him through these hours of work wasn’t what Sam wanted but he needed this practice. “We’ll do it over and over until you get it right,” he said sternly.

He grumbled after a few hours of practice and everyone had left. "I am! Why do I have to do this if I am not going to be an archer?" He grumbled and he repeated the steps, but only a few inches away from the center. "This isn't fun anymore." He pouted, losing his cheerfulness.

Adrian narrowed his eyes at the smaller male. “Hm..how do you know that? I could position you anywhere I want,” he said circling the boy slowly. “I could completely leave you out if I wanted to,” he said. “If you want to continue to whine,” he said picking up the bag of arrows pushing it into Sams chest. “Come on. We’re going back to my house,” he said. “I have paperwork to finish,” he said starting to walk out.

He huffed and he looked away, taking the bag of arrows. "I only need to use the sword!" He told him. "And archery are for the weak people who are afraid to be on the front lines!" He followed after him.

Adrian listened to him stopping in his tracks before slowly turning to him. “What did you just say? The cowards huh? That’s how it is?” He snapped before grabbing the front of the males shirt yanking him close to his face. “What happens when you are pinned and nobody is around to save you? Who is gonna save you then if we don’t have archers there? What then?! You die?! Is that it??” He said his voice struggling not to yell. “No man left behind and none of them are cowards or afraid I’ll tell you that,” he said dropping the boy. “So think before you speak. I started out as an archer and I feel like it’s a good skill to know. Don’t question me ever. You’re walking on thin ice and I’m afraid you don’t want to know what happens when it breaks,” he said inhaling shakily. “So let’s go,” he said turning around doing his best to control himself.
