Zagan listen to her for a moment, and as she came to stop, he took another step before stopping and looked at her. What she was saying that she met someone, more or less, him and fell for him. In the end, that was not his assigned task, yet he wanted her to fall for him as she made him do. By mistake or not, she did. He held her gaze for a moment, before letting out a small sigh as he looked away. "Maybe this someone could.. convince your brothers? Prove that he is right for you? Perhaps you will see him again?" He suggested, before looking back at her. "You say love is pointless but.. I say otherwise. Love is something worth fighting for, and if you can't love another person past 'sibling' wise, then you will never experience true love. You won't get to feel what it is like to have your other half, and feel complete. Yes, sure your family can do it, but your true self is with that one person and you cannot live without them. That is why love is such a struggle, and that is why people find it so pointless. ---" Zagan said, before he rubbed his hair for a second, a bit upset about what he is doing. "-- So please do not say it is pointless when it can make you so happy. That you become their world, and keep them on track. As they do the same for you.. As well, it may cause a bit of bumps in the road but it's worth the journey. You are saying it is pointless now, when you just starting to feel alive. Please don't throw the towel in so soon, when he can love you back if you just fight for it..."

she looked at him as he spoke, watching him carefully while he went into a deep conversation. she looked away from him, biting her lip as he spoke. she blushed as he spoke. of all things throughout the conversation elyse hated to admit it, but he was right. love was something worth fighting for. but with a whole army of angels, leaving the life of love seemed so easy and simple. leave and never return, never worry about heartbreak, or the pain of losing your love to death. many of these worries had been cancelled out to angels. they didn't love nor die unless they were killed. elyse looked back at him as he asked her not to give up so soon. elyse took in a deep breath, shocked by the request. he. elyse had never mention whether it was a male or not, or even human for that matter. for all he should know it could be a puppy elyse had found. but once again, the angel felt her gut twist as she had to admit he was right. it was a he. it is a he. elyse looked up at him. she bit her lip harder, once again the metallic taste of blood flooded the angel's mouth. she stopped biting her lip with such force, bringing her hand to her lip. the top of her finger dotted with blood. elyse wiped her hand on her once white dress. the angel had given up on many things throughout the trip to the demonic side. one of them being trying to keep her snow white dress clean. now it was dotted with a rainbow of colors. "zagan. what about rejection. he's so different from an angel. the rejection. the risk. love is worth fighting for, but what about the loss? i could lose everything. my life. my wings. i could be rejected by the angels. he would have to convince my brothers, they aren't very accepting of demons. i don't think they would ever accept you." the angel froze as she said 'you', taking in a sharp inhale. she looked at the ground, staring at the dirt as though she was trying to set it on fire. "i meant him. they would never accept him." the angel refused to look at him, she could hardly breath, having just said you. you of all things to say, why? why did she have to meet him, zagan, he had pratically ruined her life. kidnapping her, dragging her to the demon side, but she felt no hatred, just love. it felt strange to say that, the angel couldn't get over the shock of this realization.

As he finished his little talk, he noticed that the angel was deep in thought. He was a bit more worried about her. And yet, he was unsure how to calm her nerves. He was tempted to reach to her, and hug her. Say sweet things but he knows it won't make all their problems go away. As he noticed she seem to come out of thpughts, he perked up a small bit to hear what she said. Rejectiong. She afraid of rejection of her friends and family as well of him. Yet, Zagan knows he will not reject her. Why would he reject a girl he likes? Yet, she does not know this. "One small rejection can change such thing, huh? Yet, he will become your wings. He will defend your life, and give up his own so you can keep living. And if the angels reject you, then they are such fools to loose such a sweet angel like you." Zagan said, as his fingers reached out to touch her hair a slight bit, but he pulled it back at the last second and sighed.

she was taken back by how he spoke, as though she could do all those things with ease. elyse had never realized this, she didn't bother to think about love, rejection or the fear of rejection. but now, the demon before her had just torn up the rule book. he spoke of someone giving up their life for eylse's. "that's awful. no. i wouldn't want him to die. to leave me here alone, i would rather die. being left alone, being left abandoned. it's the worst form of torture. knowing their gone." elyse looked up at zagan. she blushed deeply as he spoke of this person being her wings if she was rejected by the angels. "be my wings. that's very poetic. beautiful, in fact." she watched zagan as he reached his hand out to her only to pull it away from her seconds later. elyse reached out to him, taking his hand in hers. the same hand that had come so close to touching her hair. she looked at him, and for the first time during this sad, poetic conversation, elyse smiled at him.

Zagan watched her as she spoke. He listened as she didn't want him to die. Yet, he would. He knows for sure. If it means protecting her, he would lay as many of his lives he could give on the line for her. "But yet.. he would do it if means he knows he's protecting the only thing he loves.." Zagan mumbled, as Elyse pulled her hand out and joined theirs together. Zagan felt the sadness he been trying to hide. With a small smile back, Zagan pulled her into a hug, to try and not to cry, for in the end he was gonna lose it. If she leave shim, Zagan do not think he would have a true reason to keep walking on the grounds.

she buried her face in his shirt, smiling sadly as she held onto his shirt. she couldn't help but look up at the demon. she raised her hand until it touched his face. elyse couldn't understand why he seemed so upset by this. she gently moved his head til she was forcing him to look at her. she smiled at him again, unable to control a strawberry colored blush. she looked up at him. "zagan. i think we both know who i was talking about." she blushed more as she spoke the words, she smiled more at him. she wanted this moment to freeze. wrapped in his embrace. she looked up at him still.

Zagan wrapped his arms around her body, and held her close, and tight yet so gentle. His inside stirred in many emotions, only to rise when he was forced to look at the small angel in his arms. He noticed her blush was light not to long ago is now only becoming a dark shade. "a puppy?" He asked, trying to lighten the mood, as well try and change it around hoping she would not have to feel the pain as she gets taken away from him. Yet down in his stomach, he knew she will end up feeling the pain he is causing him. Letting go of a hand, Zagan reached up and ran his hand through her hair.

elyse smiled softly as she heard him speak. a puppy. no. she continued to look at him, not letting him look away. her small hand remaining on his face. she gently moved her hand, smiling again as she moved her hand back to his hair, or as far as she could reach. her smile faded, though her eyes never left his. "no. you." she hated to admit it to him. to admit that she had begun to love him, that he had some how captured her attention. she blushed more, her eyes now settling on his jaw instead of meeting his eyes.

"Ah, I figured..." He murmured, as he kept his eyes locked with hers, only to have her url them our of his gaze and down at his jawline. He felt her hand run at his hair before down his cheek and onto his jawline. He wanted to say something, or do something. He stood there, thinking for a slight second before letting out a small sigh. He was not ready. He did not feel ready to let her know. He can tell her. Or maybe it is not best. For she will only suffer more.

she looked up at him, worried. not worried for him, but for her. next to being abandoned, rejection was the worst feeling. she looked away from him now, focusing on her hand. her blush began to fade, elyse pulled her hand away from zagan's face, she held it in front of her, emotions began to play out on elyse face as she stared at her hand.
