Name Kane Lionel
Age: 24
General desc. : Light brown hair, pale brown skin. Slightly more bulky than average, but not abnormally so. - 6'0 Tall.

Personality: Kane is not shy, but he is also not normally the first to speak. He likes to observe a situation before jumping in. If given the position he is a very effective leader, but it is not a position he strives for, nor will compete for. He know how to find his comfort zone, and is hesitant to leave it. Passive, until pushed.

xxxxxxxx With summer rolling out, and fall rolling in, Evergroove town started throwing out their tiny, barely skin covering clothing, and start bring back the long sleeves, and long pants. Parents getting excited for school has begun, and kids groaning every time their alarms go off early in the morning. With the birds flying towards the south, and the wild animals heading in the ground for winter, deer season has begun, as well of turkey season.

xxxxxxxx There always been a legend rolling in the town, saying that when fall rolls in, be in before the sun set, and never help anyone who screams in the dark. They proclaim that it is the devil's demons working on pulling those who are unlucky down to hell. Others say, "go out in the dark, and watch the sky. You will see your angel." but no one has dare to step foot out of their homes after sunset, ever since one, strange day, when group of girls went missing all the sudden, and some of their friends were spotted in middle of the streets, ripped to shreds.

xxxxxxxx The thing is, people always ignore one rule when it comes to fall. Avoid the forest. The folks say thats when the demons can pick you off, on by one in broad daylight. But has anyone ever seen it for themselves? No. No one has ever came back from a demon and say its all true. Then again, this is a legend, and all this could be made up. Will a human be brave to test it? What if they do end up meeting a demon? Would they run? Or talk to it? Maybe teach the humane way? Who will know? Lets all just say.. One is about to get a surprise, that they never expected for.

xxxxxxxx "Opfh!" A thud was heard after the sound of a hurt person, with a small whine not too long after the sounds were made. "You are hereby banished to the human world." A voice spoke lowly. "You are to dangerous for a demon.." It spoke, before the person could object. The person sat up straight and was about to move back to the opening where the two worlds connect, but it closed on the person. "Ugh, fine. I don't need to be a demon anyways. I can handle this stupid world, watch me, Luca." the voice came from the person, who sounded like a girl. The girl shifted around and gotten up, before looking at her only friend, her dog. "Come on, Alice." She spoke, who barked and gotten up.

xxxxxxxx Forgetting that she had a tail still, the demon looked around the forest, and felt the cool air blow by. "Fall.. Talk about timing.." She mumbled, as Alice walked ahead, sniffing around and marking trees. "Really, Alice.." She said with a sigh and walked after her dog. They kept walking for a while, before they heard noises come from their left, and saw a group of teens walking by. The girl came to a slow stop, and watched the group as they chatter about. One of the people in the ground saw her, and called out to her. "Hey girl! Wanna join us?" The person ask, who happens to be a boy. She stared at them, a un-amused look sat on it, before she waved them off, and walked once more with Alice.

xxxxxxx It was not long before the two exited the forest, and the sunlight beamed down on her. Not being used to the sun effected her eyesight, and the girl stepped back, into the shade, before trying to glance at the sun once more. Shaking her head, the girl gave up and sat under the shade, wanting to go into the city, or town. "Really want to explore.." She whispered, watching the streets, that were nearby, buzz with life. Her tail laid next to her, and Alice laid at her feet, panting.

'Raising Kane' Had always been his nick-name a a youth. As an adult however, most found the name hardly fitting. He found him self reverting to his old ways as the young man fumbled his way though the old rusty gate that led out of the forest path. He grumbled under his breath as he was finally able to push though. Pulling his hoodie up over his head as he edged though the thick under growth, partially to cover his ears from the cool breeze, partially to keep it more on his body than allowing the jungle like foliage from consuming it.
He was new and these parts, and found him self in this position as a result of a bet gone horribly wrong. He had of course heard the legends, all 35 versions that made their way around town. He took them for what he knew them to be. Simply,Just stories. He had moved around plenty in his young life, and knew that most places had their own personal tales. Now he had completed the task before him and was just happy to be done.
He had found nothing unusual other than large tree as he had expected. He sighed loudly finally reaching the parking lot, and his car. An old junky piece of crap, likely should have been condemned years earlier- yet he was thrilled it still had 4 wheels and a working motor. It may not be a Ferrari, but it had gotten him out of several bad situations.
Now however he found himself cursing for about the 50th time this evening, as his car would not start. He stepped out and tinkered around lifting the hood, pretending that he understood anything, before slamming the hood and finally admitting defeat.
He took a deep breath, before beginning the long walk towards town. Tired, aggravated, and truly ready to raise a little hell he hit the city limits practically steaming. As he entered he noticed an odd female with a dog at her feet that he had not recognized. Not that that was really a strange experience as he hardly knew any one here.

xxxxxxxx the dog heard footsteps, and gotten up, growling. "Down girl.." The girl spoke, before looking to her side, to see a young adult who seems to be new as she would guess. She was not sure of the true age of humans, so she stared at the adult, studying him. The Shepard kept a low growl, and watched the male's movements. "Alice, down." The girl growled, and the dog obeyed, laying down, and putting her head in her paws.

xxxxxxxx the girl finally made a movement to speak. "Who are you?" she asked, cautiously. She moved her hands from her pockets, to the ground as if she was about to get up and walk towards him.

Kane turned around abruptly, as he heard first the dog and then the girl. He had noted them, but being on the verge of growling and throwing a fit of his own, he had not made any move towards friendliness upon seeing her, and frankly he was a tad surprised she had done so.
He shrugged slightly, his olive green eyes still fiery, his temper still hot. The wind blew his hair, and he lifted the hood once again, though other than stopping made no move towards the girl. He just watched her, perhaps she would think he feared the dog. Though that could not be farther than the truth. Dogs, were just dogs, no matter how big or how mean they may appear. It took more than a grown feigning fierceness to send him on the run.
He pursed his lips slightly after a while, tilting his head slightly, as if pondering if he were really going to answer. He was not hardly in the mood. He finally shrugged again. "What does it matter?" he finally answered. Knowing full well it wasn't really an answer, but it was what he was willing to give.

xxxxxxx The girl raised an eyebrow at him, and gotten up on her feet, her tail dragging a bit. "Considering that i asked a question, I was hoping a different answer, but i guess I can take that answer." She said, walking a bit closer to him. She took note of his features, her light blue gaze ran up and down his body, noticing how his body gave off the vibe of "not in the mood" vibe. Usually she would back off and leave them be, but she rather get help, and go to the city. "Do you mind helping me?" She asked. "I need to get to the city.. or.. town whatever you people call it."

Kane let out a loud sigh. He turned back towards the start of the town, then looked to the sky. Realizing with the dying light that the only tow shop in town would very likely be closed at this point now anyway. His mood continued to diminish with the light. Not usually one quick to anger, it had already been a very long day. His good will was exhausted.
He could not help but give a small smile at her last request though. He shook his head, looking back at her, the faint grin still playing at the corner of his lips.
"You don't even know me miss. Do you make it a habit of asking strange men for help?" he asked raising an eyebrow, unable to repress the slight jibe. With it came a real smile though, the first this day had brought.

xxxxxxxxxx The girl stared at him like he was a a bit weird. Then again, the human world was weird. then if he is consider normal, would she be counted weird? thoughts kept running in her mind, as she tried to figure a way to reply to him. "No, but a k-king, excuse me, k-kind person would help someone, despite their situation. Perhaps you could be a k-kind person?" she asked, noticing the sky was indeed turning dark. The time when she would be out, picking off people to play with, to only clear their mind and send them back home where they originally was. She may not need his help after all, or could he? Maybe he could teach me how to be.. human?
