Roxanna had only slept for a few minutes, waking up when she heard the door close. Slowly, she raised her head up and looked out the window, seeing Dusty walking back to the barn. Depressed with her heart hurting, Roxanna stood up, going out of the kitchen and upstairs to her room. She closed the door quietly behind her before sitting on the bed. She leaned her back against the wall, her knees up to her chest as she looked towards the window.

Dusty walked slowly along the hall to his next class his back was still killing him and his heart felt broken. He hadn't spoken to Roxanna since he kissed her and had ignored her ever since. He felt cold all the time and felt no emotion. He had planned on going to the dance tonight, but he could care less now.

Scout drank some of his iced water as he sat down in his first class. He was so warm and the doctors had checked him out saying he was warm, but there was no sign of fever or anything else and that his body was heating up for no reason. This made him worry since who knew what the result of it would be.

Roxanna looked around a little as she moved to her class. She may have been at school, but her mind was elsewhere. Since day the Dusty kissed her, she had been crying her to sleep every night and asking Mrs. Odelle for the tiny things that she could around the farm to distract herself. Her heart was almost snapped in two. Roxanna wasn't sure how much more of this she could take. Probably not much. Sitting down at her desk, she decided then and then that this was going to end today. No more hiding. No more running. No more ignoring him. And no more lying to herself that Dusty didn't exist. Her feelings for Dusty was real, and she couldn't lose the one thing that matter the most to her forever. Her first and only friend, the one who came to visit and cheer her up in the hospital. Dusty.

Trixie moved quickly down the halls to Algebra class before walking in and taking her seat a minute before the bell rang off. She can't believe the dance was already today, and she had to go out for dinner with Tyler. How unlucky her.

Scout sat behind Trixie a frown on his face since today was the day Trixie would go out with Tyler. This was unacceptable and so weird.

Trixie leaned her head against her hand as her elbow rested on desk as the teacher came, listening boredly.

Dusty finally got to his class and sat down. Then put his head on the desk. His back tensed and some pain shot through his spine and he jerked slightly. "Ow."

Tyler smiled happily while Zack tried to go to sleep.

(Would any of your characters be willing to go out with Zack? I mean I have an idea who I want him to be with in the end but he needs a date lol)

Katana inspected her pen as class went on.

Avalor doodled on the side of her book.

June wrote down notes as she listened.
