Roxanna flinched before quietly taking his hand in hers,"Hey, hey. It's okay. Just relax. I'm right here." She whispered softly as she went onto her knees on the floor so she could look at Dusty's face.

Dusty shivered and said. "I'm okay.... It just...... Hurts..... So much still." Dusty looked her in the eyes and smield softly some of the pain melting away. He moved forward and lightly kissed her on the lips.

(This feels like a hunger games scene)

(Never seen it. I've heard about it, but never seen it.)

Roxanna nodded in understanding and smiled a little when did. But the moment he kissed her on the lips, Roxanna froze with surprised eyes. When the kiss ended, Roxanna wasn't sure what to think or do, but was she ready for something like his? Her eyes started to burn, feeling tears that threatened to form,"D-Dusty....." She whispered.

Dusty turned and said. "Sorry....." He shifted to look away pain ravaging through his body as he did so. "I couldn't help it."

Roxanna chewed her bottom lip, telling herself not to cry,"I-It's..... I-It's okay....." She whispered, her voice cracking as she slowly stood up, the cloth in her hand before slowly turning to walk into the kitchen to rinse it off.

Dusty's face was in a frown his head towards the back of the couch. Why had he done that? Yes he felt awful but he shouldn't have put her in that situation. He kept quiet not responding to her as she spoke.

Roxanna walked into the kitchen and over to the sink. Turning on the tap, she quickly rinsed the cloth out before turning it off. She placed the cloth onto the counter before her hand went up to her mouth, keeping herself from making any sounds asa tear rolled down her cheek.

Dusty curled up in a ball and sighed thinking about everything he had just ruined. She probably hated him now.

Roxanna wasn't sure if she could stand going back into the living now, so she sat at the table, placing her arms on it before resting her head down. Silently, she cried herself to sleep.

Dusty heard crying from Roxanna and closed his eyes. What had he done? He sat up putting his shirt on which was still bloody and limped outside. His hand on his back as he walked out to the barn. He couldn't stay in the house after what he did.
