the fall weather was settling in as the summer weather disappeared, where it will then appear again next summer. just like that, a new season came. something about the chilly wind told katherine that this fall would be different. last fall, she heard only rumors about demons, but had never actually seen one in its true form. the thing was that in her mind, they were just myths, and that the possibility of her stumbling upon one was not probable. if she did though, she'd never know. it was best that way, for she didn't like demons. whether they were just a myth, or actually real. they all seemed the same to her: rude, arrogant, and the exact opposite of what she looked for in a friend, boyfriend, etc.

it was late that night. kat had been at a halloween party, even though halloween was weeks away. the air was just starting to become chilly, and the trees began to become bare. she had forgotten her jacket back at her apartment. to keep warm, she hugged herself and rubbed her bare arms. it would have been a good idea to have worn something warmer, but she had wanted to look pretty for the party. last fall her boyfriend, whom she dated for three years, broke up with her for katherine's best friend. she didn't just lose her boyfriend, she lost her best friend, too. so, kat was hoping to have met someone that night at the party - no such luck.

it took her for forever to get over that break up. they'd been together for three years, how could he do something like that, right? it was just life. and she'd have many more breakups. but was it bad she wanted to find someone to spend the rest of her life with already?

katherine gave a heavy sad sigh and stopped walking. she gazed up at the august sky. the sky was dark, with only stars to light it up. night time didn't particularly frighten her. she rather fancied the night. to her, the night felt the calmest. often at night, she'd just stare up at the sky, or take long four hour walks and just enjoy the peacefulness. it was weird though. the most recent times she's walked at night, it felt like someone was watching her. but it wasn't creepy. she felt safe more than scared. many times she thought she had imagined it, but then she'd hear rustling in bushes, or even see a body part not hidden wherever they tried to hide. kat probably should have found out what it had been, but it made her feel safer to be watched like that.

as he proceed to hide is tail. "Zane, you really think this is wise?" Aero growled and Zagan just shrug.
"Its fall, come on. Fall is our chance to play. Its the only time angels cant kick us off earth, and replace us down under."
Zagan whined, sighing. 'Fine, but we better come back for dawn." Aero hissed, before hiding his wings and tail.

"You think that is wise? With your sharp teeth? you haven't gotten rid of your demon side for the night."
"Man, let me do what i want.." Zagan hissed, before walking away from the party house, and walked
towards the sidewalk. Once the two were on the sidewalk, Zagan looked up and down the street. He saw a figure,
and watched it curiously. "I thought humans avoided walking alone at night.." Zagan asked, curiously.

walk towards the figure, but quickly stopped by Zagan. "Leave it alone." Zagan hissed, and Aero
shakes his head. "We deserve a treat. Zagan,human flesh, come on!" Aero growled. "Will
you please lower your voice." Zagan hissed, gripping Aero's shoulder tightly. "No,
thats our meal walking away!"

The Korean heard faint whispers in the dark of the night and slowly turned her head towards the almost inaudible sounds. It was hard to make out what it was, but she could see shadowy figures standing a distance away. They looked to be men, about her age. She squinted more and observed that there were two to be exact. She didn't know whether they were a threat or not, so she stayed still for a moment before walking straight up to the gentlemen.

Katherine stopped in front of them cautiously. At first she stood uneasily, but relaxed only a little when she could actually see their faces. "What are you two doing at this time?" She asked accusingly. Multiple times her mom had said to stay away from guys late at night - since they could be drunk, or try to kill her. But Kat wasn't afraid. She'd walk right up to them, the way she was doing right then. She was quite confident in herself to handle any guy who tried anything. But something about these guys felt different. Their demeanor spoke something she had never recognized before. In this situation, she felt like walking away was the better option.

She realized she didn't have any weapon to use against them, and suddenly felt a wave of uncertainty and anxiety. The twenty one year old played different scenarios in her head, hoping that the least life threatening one would occur. Who knew, though? Maybe they were harmless, and they were just strolling down the street for a night walk as well. Maybe she had no right to accuse them of anything just yet. The girl did her best not to look scared or intimidated by how tall or scary they looked. Though probably to them she looked just helpless and gullible. Oh, just they wait.

⊗ Zagan's grip tighten up when he heard footsteps, and pulled Aero back, before throwing his arm around his shoulder, keeping a tight lock on him. "Hi there. Uh, us? We are.. just taking a stroll.." Zagan said, quickly. He gave a small smile, trying to keep it from looking strange, even more strange it already is. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be home? Out of danger, before demons come and get you?" Zagan asked, wanting to chuckle because she does not understand that there are two demons standing right in front of her.

Aero growled, wanting to lunge forward, but Zagan kept his death grip. Aero wiggle about and Zagan chuckled a small bit. "Ha.. ha.. i shouldn't have let him drink.." Zagan quickly said, to try and cover up Aero's strange behavior. "You might want to back up a bit.." Zagan warned.⊗

Katherine raised an eyebrow at Aero, wondering what his deal was. Her gaze then returned to Zagan, the one that seemed to be in control of himself, as well as his friend. As he gave her an explanation as to what the two were doing out there, she gave a curt nod, still a bit edgy about the fellows. The smile he gave wasn't a very convincing one, and definitely did not ease her suspicions. At his next questions, she scoffed a little. "I'm not afraid, nor do I believe in such childish myths. You're just trying to scare me, aren't you? WELL, look-y here mister, you're not scaring me. I'm not gullible, nor am I drunk either, so, don't even try to mess with me. I know karate!"

When Zagan told her she should back up, she shook her head stubbornly. "Nope." Then she looked straight at Aero and moved closer to his face. She ran a finger down his jawline, smirking mischievously. "What's your name?' She asked, keeping her eyes cautiously locked on Aero's, only glancing once in Zagan's direction. Before she went on her way, Katherine was going to have some fun with these boys. And she had no idea what she was getting herself into.

He all the sudden tried to nip her finger, but Zagan tugged him away. "Really, you should back away.." Zagan spoke, before taking a step away from her, with Aero still next to him. Zagan decided that if she wouldn't listen, then it is only fair to let her have her fun she is seemly searching for. And Aero would be gladly to give it.

The girl gave Zagan the dirtiest of looks. What was up with these two? She didn't know whether she should stay stubborn, or actually listen to what Zagan had said to her. As they backed up from her a little Kat pondered how she should react. After considering not being stubborn, she looked at Zagan and stepped a little bit closer to him. "What's your name?" She asked, observing him from head to toe. It was dark out, but the streetlights lit his face and body up just enough to make out what he looked like. He was pretty cute.
