Moon/Clover

Moon flinched, flattening her ears slight at the hardness in her tone."I-oh.." twitching her whiskers she glanced around "well.. when we were coming from the moors I saw a swamp that way, there was also a cluster of mountains over there, but... Skyler is too small to travel either way, there to much of a distance for such a small kit... plus-."


Hope/Soot/Duck.

Hope ignored any contact with the two cats making a small growling moaning noise. She curled tighter into a ball as the pain grew more dizzy and more painful, she moaned waiting for the nausea to pass.


Skyler/Swifter.

Skyler brightened bursting out of the holly bush, glancing around she stood waiting for the group to waken, she listened. The first cat she saw was soot bounced out from the dropping branches of the willow tree. "Hey soot!" She meowed. "Where u going?"

clover // with moon
"Shut up," Clover quickly interrupted before the cat could blabber on anymore. "Skyler isn't that heavy, she could be carried easily. Swamps are too dangerous and Mountains hold no value to us. We should follow the stream downwards."

soot // Skyler
Soot stopped in her tracks when she heard Skyler call out to her, glancing over her shoulder at the kitten. "Hope hurt her head, I'm going to get some herbs," she quickly replied, flicking an ear. "Sorry buddy, you need to stay here. Why don't you go and make sure everyone is up? I'm sure we'll be leaving soon." Then before letting her speak she bounced off again in search of the herb.

swifter // alone
Swifter watched her bounce off with a sigh, rolling her eyes before she got up and stretched. "So much for a lie in. I better go and find Clover and let her know I'm going hunting." Then she left the den, glancing around for the named cat.

mercy // alone
Monsters, monsters everywhere. There was probably a fox here somewhere, watching her, or a badger looking for food. Or a bear. Or a giant hawk. Alarmed at the thought she rolling over to stare out the other way, a frown pulling at her face as she tried to calm down.

duck // hope
"Oh come on! I got over my headache quickly, now you're just overreacting!" Duck practically groaned as he flopped down besides her, reaching out and putting his paw on her head. "C'mon drama queen, you're fine! I think!"

Moon/Clover

Moon thought for a moment. Her eyes narrowed slightly at the thought of Skyler even going near the water. "Skyler is going to get us soaked...somehow...She always does..."


Hope/Duck/Soot

Hope moaned, as her paws moved down to her muzzle.. "Duck..... it hu- it's so...dizzy-it hurts.. so much....."


Skyler/Mercy/Soot

Skyler glared after Soot for a moment before going to find Mercy. She caught her scent quickly and tracked her down. Quietly she snuck forward until she was a tail length away and sprang with a loud roar.

clover // moon and swifter
"Then we'll walk further from the stream but close enough to hear it. That should- ah, Swifter." The conversation was interrupted by the shecat heading their way and Clover turned her attention quickly to see what she wanted.

soot // alone
"Feverfew, feverfew.. feverfew.. Ah!" The sight of the white flower along with a stream of water just a little further off. A split second hesitation before she padded to the waterside and dipped her muzzle in to clean it, lapping up some water before she carefully collected a few flowers. Holding them gently she turned and headed back towards the temporary campsite to help Hope with her headache.

swifter // moon and clover
Deciding to be brief Swifter padded over to Moon and Clover, dipping head with a "good morning," to both of them when she arrived. "Hope I'm not bothering you both. I was wondering if anyone wanted to come hunting with me before we set out."

mercy // skyler
The shriek she gave at being surprised was loud enough to scare the birds from the trees. No, not metaphorically- literally. The sound of surprised birds filled the air for a few moments before silence fell, Mercy lying on her back hyperventilating with wide eyes as she tried to recover from the near heart attack. Thanks for that, Skyler.

duck // hope
"Ya just being a wimp. Soot'll be back in a few minutes with some herbs for ya and then you can get up easy as pie. Hey, we can even go hunting if Clover lets us! Just quit whining." Duck proceeded to put his second paw on top of her head, cocking head a little as he watched her.

Moon/Clover/Swifter.

Moons fur suddenly fluffed up at the sound of Mercy's scream. She bounded past the two she cats. "Mercy?!" Her voice was full with concern. "Mercy, where are you?!"


Hope/Duck.

Hope shot up only to stumble over her paws and smack her head against a branch. Quite harshly, she fell back on her belly again, now she had a reason to be a drama queen.


Skyler/Mercy

Skyler smirked, placing her front paws on her belly "Did I scare ya? Did I?" She purred happily hauling herself up she sat on her belly waiting for the shecat to stop hyperventilating.

clover // moon and swifter
Of course Moon would just run off on them. Clover watched her go with an annoyed look, snorting and muttering something about it probably being nothing, seeing as Mercy often let her imagination get the best of her. Swifter made a comment that she didn't listen to, just nodding before turning away to wait for the black cat to return so she could continue lecturing her.

soot // alone
Soot was almost back when the yell reached her ears. Her ears perked high and she froze midstep, nose twitching as she tried to locate the scent of the distressed cat. Hope could wait- if Mercy was hurt, she would help her first. Deciding on this she bound off in the direction she assumed the cat to be in.

swifter // moon and clover
"..Or not." Swifter watched Moon rush off at the sound of Mercy, frowning a little. It was probably nothing, even still.. "I'm going to find Skyler and make sure she's okay." A nod from Clover and she was off to find the kit.

mercy // skyler
Mercy didn't reply to Skyler at first, too scared of the thought of being killed. When she heard her speak though it snapped her back quickly enough, her eyes widening as she pushed the kit up and struggled to her paws, wide-eyed. "T- that was really mean!"

duck // hope
Duck watched with dismay as Hope hit her head again, falling over. "You're a mousebrain," he grumbled with a sigh and shake of his head, hoping Soot would hurry up.

Moon/Skyler/Mercy.

"Mercy! Are you okay? Why'd you scream?" Moon walked in a circle around Mercy scanning for any type of injury, There seemed to be nothing so she took a small step back staring at mercy waiting for a reply.

Skyler/Mercy/Moon

Skyler grinned slightly, well until Moon appeared. Guilt flashed through the small kit as she realised she attracted the whole group except, Clover, Duck and Hope, for nothing.

Hope/Duck


Tears managed to force themselves into her leafy green gaze, she felt tired and embarrassed curling up slightly she tried to hide her tears but they had already begun streaming down her cheeks.

It wasn't long before the ex-medicine cat also reached the scene, glancing over everyone with a look of concern. "Hey! What's going on? Anyone hurt?"

swifter // mercy, moon, soot, skyler
It was pure luck that Skyler happened to be with the suddenly loud group of cats, Swifter having heard the commotion in her search for the kit. As she walked into the scene she paused, looked everyone and then turned to Skyler. "What did you do? And don't say nothing because somehow, this was your fault."

mercy // skyler, moon, soot, swifter
Skyler scaring her had been bad enough. Now, still recovering from the fright, Mercy found herself surrounded by a group of four. Several seconds of silence- then she burst into tears, barging through the crowd and up the nearest tree, her small frame easily reaching high branches so she could hide.

duck // hope
"Uh... Soot will be back soon?" Duck attempted, frowning, no idea what to do. "I, uh... I'm going to go find you some food! That'll help!" With that, the small tom escaped the awkward situation, starting his search for food.

Moon, Mercy, Soot, Skyler and Swifter

Moon watched in silence as Mercy rushed past her she turned to watch the she-cat rush up the tree, her ears flattening. she whipped around and glared at Skyler. "What in the name of the stars did you do?!"

Skyler, Moon, Soot, Swifter and Mercy

"I-!" Skyler began but was cut off by the snarl of Moon she turned in surprise her eyes widening with terror, She stumbled back. "I-" for once in the young kits live she didn't want to speak, flattening her ears she looked away desperately searching for a place to run and hide.

Hope and Duck

Once Duck had left she desperately tried to calm down, blinking rapidly to clear the tears, she angled her ears forward before raising her head. It was still quite visible she was hurt. "Ow.." She growled resting her head on her paws.

"Oh." As the situation clicked, Soot gave a sigh and shake of her head before slipping away from the group. It seemed she was not needed; she would just return to their temporary camp to deal with Duck and Hope for now.

swifter // mercy, moon, soot, skyler
"Hey!" Instantly, Swifter was on the defensive, shoving her way forward and taking a step over the kit so she was hidden safely under her protective shadow. "She's a kit. Don't be such a jerk, leave her alone. She was only playing."

mercy // alone
--she is hiding in a tree good luck catching her--

duck // hope
It took about twenty seconds to find a dead mouse on the temp-prey pile, satisfied as he took it up and returned to the makeshift den. Then he dropped it in front of the shecat with a nervous look. "Eat. It'll make you feel better. I think."
