Nikki arrives at Camp Monsoon almost halfway into the program. Caroline is one of her bunkmates, happily giving Nikki helpful tips and tricks. They feel an almost instant connection and they both know it- who will confess first?

Background: Nikki grew up in a pretty light skinned neighbor hood which resulted in her being picked on because of skin tone, at first she was upset and shyed away from people but then she talked to her Dad on Skype about it because his in the Army and he gave her the support she needed to stick up for herself, now she gets defensive easily and never gives up in a fight. She doesn't let any push her, her friends or her family around when she has a say in it. Her mother worked at the local bank and her dad was in the army. She has a brother that is 2 years younger than her and she is very protective of him.

Background: Caroline grew up in a foster home. Her parents passed away in a car accident when she was 7. Cycling between several homes, she was finally adopted when she was 10. At 14 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy and surgery. The cancer stopped spreading after a year and a half, and she asked to go to camp after her family received the good news. After she was sent to camp, she sent her parents a letter asking to extend her stay, her parents gladly letting her. They are vacationing at Minnehaha Falls for their honeymoon.

Caroline sat in her bunk, listening to music on her IPod. Her cabin was informed yesterday that new campers were arriving today. She didn't have many friends, even though she'd been here for almost 3 months. Sliding off top bunk, she put her IPod in her pocket. She made the bed under hers, this was the empty one for the newbie.

Nikki gets off the bus arriving at the camp, she managed convince her Mum and Dad to let her go, lying that there was some boot camp activities. She walks to the side of the bus to grab her suitcase. Once she has she walks to the cabin she was assigned, before walking she grabs her coral lipstick and paints a thin layer on to make her lips pop. She knocks on the door and waits for somebody to answer.

Caroline heard a knock at the cabin door. One of the other girls in the cabin opened the door, and Caroline turned around, this must be the new girl. As Massie, the girl who opened the door, went back to her bunk, Caroline smiled at the newbie. "Hi, I'm Caroline, but you can call me Ro." She smiled slightly and gestured at the empty bed. "This is yours by the way." She commented, climbing the frame to get up to her mattress.

She nods walking to her bed, she places her suitcase on it. "I'm Nikki, Nice to meet you all!" she says with a dazzling smile, trying to get on everyone's good side.

Most of the girls smile and say hi. Caroline points as she speaks. "This is Massie, Jenna, Kate, and Leslie. They keep to themselves most of the time, not very talkative." She said, watching the girls on their phones. "Make yourself at home, I'll show you around later, you must be tired after the long trip." She smiled and sat back in her bed, crossing her legs. She reached for her bag and pulled out a book, beginning reading.

"Thankyou." She says smiling, she opens her suitcase grabs her backpack out of it and shoves somethings into it, like a waterbottle, her phone, headphones and a book. She then shoves her suitcase under the bed and plops down on her bed, dropping her backpack on the floor next to the bed.
