Chase nodded, beginning to make his way to the back. He was walking backwards before pointed at Alice, winking. "Whatever you say, princess.." He said, grinning and eventually broke into a relaxed jog over to the area Alice had instucted him to go. Chase glanced around the corner, making sure no one would spot him and then leaned against the wall, waiting patiently for her.

Alice watched him go before entering the building. She turned the alarms off before they went off, and walked towards the back office where the staff can smoke. She huffed as she smelt the air filled of smoke, and let out a small cough, before opening the door. "People smoke in this room, so ignore the smell if you can." She said to him, as she held it towards him.

"Well darn it.." Chase muttered before thanking Alice for keeping the door open while walking into the building. He let out a small growl. "Well that's one way to ruin your health." He mumbled. "Wait- isn't there security in this place? How did you manage to get in here?" He added, almost surprised. "Colour me impressed..." Chase said lowly, closing the door behind himself.

"this is why i don't come back here anymore." She murmured, before closing the door, and taking the lead. "There is, but i shut it off." she sadi, as she led him to her office, which was near the mayor's room. She open her office door to her office and turned the light on. "Explore, i don't mind." She spoke, as she walked towards the computer that set turn off on her desk. she took a seat at her desk,and started to log in to the computer, as her eyes glanced up to a picture she kept on a shelf. Her and a friend of hers.

At first he decided to walk over to some shelves and look at the books before noticing that something had caught Alice's attention. He wasn't sure about what it was, but it definitely wasn't him. Chase looked up, seeing a photo and glanced back at Alice, grabbing the picture. "Cute." He said half-heartedly. "Who's this?"

(I was distracted by wolfhome. Then faded away into a sleep. Don't kill me plz.)

Alice shurg, trying to pay it off. "Don't know who he is." She spoke, as she went back to her computer. She logged in and started to go through the files on her computer. She mumbled under her breath.

"And you expect me to believe such a thing..." Chase muttered, slickly ticked off. Trying to keep calm and collected, he placed the photo back onto the shelf neatly. "Erm. Is he a... Childhood friend of yours?" He added, continuing with the subject.

Alice shook her head. "I don't know who he is. " She replied, once again. She was getting a bit annoyed for Alice rather not speak about him. He was a past mistake. Yet, why did she kept it up there? Maybe because she wished she never let him go? It's unclear to her, so she just cleaned her mind and went back to working on her mission with Chase.

Chase let out a deep sigh, and decided to stop with the specific subject, but he knew it would probably annoy him until she would explain everything to him. Chase didn't want to get into any pointless arguments with Alice since it could ruin the current atmosphere. Or maybe he already ruined it. He shrugged, walking over to her and crouched down, deciding to look at what she was doing. "So.... My lil hacker." He began. "Whucha doing?"

Alice felt guilty for not telling Chase about him right away. She just felt unsure about this, for that was someone she well new. And she knew Chase would get ticked about t. Should she tell him? No, Alice shook her head, for she was just overthinking. Being spooked, Alice moved away out of fear to only remember it was Chase. "Ah.. just.. getting rid of the files about the so called criminals. If they cant locate the files, then they cant do anything with them, yes?"
