Levi smiled as Raina twirled under his arm. He pulled her back in, but accidentally stepped too close and ended up with her pressed against his chest. He flushed again, thrown off for a moment before taking a quick step back. He forced his nonchalant grin back on his face and dropped her hand as the song ended.

Raina stepped back in, but Levi pulled her too far and she found herself a lot closer to him than she was comfortable with. Thankfully he stepped back. She smiled a little and rubbed the back of her neck as the song ended and he let her go. "We should probably get back to cooking." She muttered, turning away so that he wouldn't see the blush creeping across her cheeks. Freaking- When did I start liking /him/.

Levi nodded, trying to seem completely casual and not at all like he'd just contemplated kissing her. "Yeah, we probably should if we want to eat before midnight." He joked. He turned back to where he'd been working on the stuffing. He started measuring the things into the bowl, pausing as he heard the next song. He looked back at Raina, grinning, as Bohemian Rhapsody started to play.

"Yeah." Raina agreed. She finished prepping the pie rather quickly and she slid it into the oven just as the timer for the potatoes went off. She hauled the pot off the stove and drained it into the sink before grabbing a knife and a cutting board. She'd just set everything down when she caught Levi's eye. She glanced over, matched his grin, and then busted out with as many of the lyrics as she could remember.

Levi started singing along to the song with the same rediculous tone as before. He grabbed a wooden spoon and started mixing the stuffing. He dropped the spoon into the sink, still singing, and started layering it into a pan. He paused as the guitar solo started, turning and once again taking up his air guitar and singing along.

Raina just couldn't handle Levi's ridiculousness and she started laughing again. "I'm so done with you." She forced out, going back to her potatoes, although she was still smiling and singing along with him and the radio. She got her potatoes half mashed and then went through the fridge until she found a stick of butter, which she added to the bowl along with salt, and milk, and a dash of pepper.

Levi grinned and poked her in the side again. "C'mon, you love me." He teased, saying it before really thinking it through. He tried to brush it off, going back to spreading the stuffing in the pan.

Raina smacked Levi's hand, harder than usual, as he poked her yet again. She was really getting tired of having him jab his fingers into her ribs. She didn't quite know how to respond to that. She did love him as a friend, and maybe a little bit as something else but would saying yes to that complicate things? She inhaled snobbily. "No I do not." She said, making it very clear that she was joking.

Levi retracted his hand and shook it out. He sometimes forgot that she had a good bit of power in there. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. He glanced back at her, giving her a small smile. "Love you too, you idiot." He teased again, saying it a way that was clearly platonic, but with enough feeling that it was clear that he did care about his friend.

Raina grinned and looked back over her shoulder at Levi. She winked jokingly. "Yeah you do." She teased. Being able to say that was really nice for her, just as a nice confirmation that someone other than Nick did honestly care that she wasn't dead, even if she was supposed to be. It took her a few more minutes, but she finally finished up with the potatoes, stuck them back on the stove, and put a lid on the pot to keep them from cooling off too quickly.
