[Agent Lilytiger]

Levi tilted his head to the side. "You mean- You don't know who I am?" He asked, not really offended, more relieved really. Ever since the band had taken off, it had felt like everyone on campus knew who he was and what he did. He raised an eyebrow at Raina's answer. "Double major? Do you ever see the sun?" He asked, only half joking. He snorted again. "Forgive me for trying to seem interested in your life." He snarked. He nearly stood and left right then, but it was still raining and he had nowhere to go.

Raina's brow furrowed. "Why, are you important? Am I supposed to know something other than you're failing your Junior year and the girls all seem to swoon over you even though you're about as much of a jerk as was to be expected from someone so popular?" She asked, only partially trying to be sarcastic. "I study on the roof a lot." She twisted a strand of hair around her fingers and flinched ever so slightly at his next statement. "No, really, my reason is literally why not?"

Levi snorted. "Yes, I expect everyone to bow before me, King of Popular." He said bitterly. He shoved his chair back and stood. "Because that's how I'm defined is it?" He asked, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "Because so many people claim to be my 'friend' I get to be labeled as a jerk." He stared at Raina for a moment longer. He didnt know why he was reacting this strongly to her. He shook his head again and headed to the door. "I'll see you Thursday." He muttered as he shoved open the door.

Raina just watched as Levi got up again. "Well that's not my fault, is it? Maybe if you made some real friends you wouldn't have that problem." She shot back. He was about to leave when she sighed. "Wait." She tossed her now dry jacket at him. "Don't catch a cold." She said, running a hand through her hair. "See you."

Levi flinched slightly at Raina's words. He had half a mind to tell her exactly why it was he no longer had friends. He held his tongue and turned as she told him to wait. He caught the jacket and looked down at it. He looked back up at her, almost feeling like he should say something, then just nodded and left. He walked down the hallway, staring down at the jacket in his hand. He'd never had someone do something like that for him. The rain was still pouring as he stopped just before the door and pulled the jacket on. He headed out, pulling the hood over his face. He did feel a little bad about snapping at Raina. It wasn't her fault what had happened to him. But she also had said some things that had been unwarranted, if true. He stewed over his thoughts the entire wet, cold walk home. He finally stuck the key into his apartment door lock and with a little jimmy- the lock tended to get stuck- got the door open. He shut the door behind him and switched on the light of his tiny apartment. He stripped off the sopping jacket and hung it up, then he went into his room and changed into dry clothes. His phone dinged and he grabbed it off the counter to read the text. It was Erwin, asking how his tutoring was going. Levi tapped out a short reply then went to toss his phone onto the couch. He stopped, staring at the device in his hand for a moment before tapping a few buttons to get to Raina's number. He hesitated again, then tapped the call button and held the phone to his ear.

Raina watched as Levi took her jacket and left. After a minute or two, she grabbed her bag and crawled under the table, deciding to just wait out the storm in the study room - she had it reserved for a couple more hours anyway. She got comfortable on her stomach and flipped her book open again, highlighting stuff and marking in the margins as she read with the thunder booming outside and the rain pounding the window. She shifted a few times over the next while, trying to stay comfortable on the floor. She had just picked up her phone to call Nick to come keep her company when it rang. She checked the caller ID. Levi. Her thumb hovered over the screen for a minute before she accepted the call and balanced the phone between her shoulder and her ear. "Hey. You need something?"

Levi felt his stomach twist as the phone rang several times. Was he nervous? Why was he nervous? He didn't have time to think it through before Raina answered the call. He started nervously pacing the floor. "Hey, no- yes, I mean," He took a small breath. "I just wanted to apologize for snapping at you today." He said in a quiet tone. "I didn't mean to be such a jerk." He scratched the back of his head, holding his breath as he waited for her response.

Raina paused in her reading, putting her full attention on her phone as Levi stuttered on the other end of the call. She straightened up a bit in shock, banging her head on the underside of the table as he apologized. She sighed softly, rubbing the back of her head. "Me too." Even though you proved my point splendidly. She tapped her fingers impatiently. "Anything else?"

Levi let out his breath as Raina spoke again. He could hear the impatience in her voice and he nearly made some comment about how he was just SO SORRY about taking up her time to apologize. He bit back his response, thinking that it would only make her dislike him all the more. But did he really care if she like him or not? Finally Levi just sighed and shook his head. Then he realized that she couldn't see him. "No, I'm done." He said, a bitter tone will slipping into his voice. Why did she get on his nerves so much?

Raina clenched her fist and slowly let out a breath as she uncurled her fingers to look at the crescent shaped indents she'd left in her palm. Why was she lashing out at him so much? He'd never done anything to her. She'd never even met him before a few days ago and yet she harbored this ridiculous resentment towards him. She was about to hang up, but hesitated as she caught his tone. She ran a hand through her hair. "I had a bad day." She suddenly said, by way of explanation. "Sorry I took it out on you."
