Levi's heart sank a little as Raina showed zero enthusiasm for his idea. "We don't have to." He said, taking her hand. "I know you're just starting to reconcile with her." He turned her hand over and started tracing the lines in her palm. "Maybe it'll help. Maybe not. Just think about it."

Raina bit her lip and sighed. Levi was too good for the world. "Well, I already agreed. So I'll just text her and get this over with." She pulled out her phone, tapping out a quick message to Anna and sending it. "We are reconciling, but I've held this grudge for almost two decades. It's going to take some time." She murmured, watching as he traced the creases of her hand.

Levi just watched as Raina texted her mother, trying not to sigh exhasperatedly. He just continued to trace the lines in her hand, silently musing over the situation. He knew what it was like to hate a parent. He did. And reconciliation was something he didn't see in his future. So Raina was already doing better than he was. "Okay." He finally murmured. "Take your time. I'm just glad you're getting it."

"Thanks, love." Raina murmured, smiling a tiny bit as she nuzzled into the crook of Levi's neck. She yawned a moment later. "I think it's about time we head for bed." She suggested. All the emotions and getting beat up and entertaining the Murphys had worn her out more than she'd thought, but then she'd sat down.

Levi smiled and draped his arm around Raina's shoulders, pulling her a little closer. He grunted as she suggested they get to bed, suddenly feeling much more comfortable there that he probably actually was. "But I don't want to move." He murmured, lazily wrapping his other arm around Raina's stomach, pulling her into his lap. "How about we don't move?"

Raina chuckled softly at Levi's words, helping a little as he shifted her so that she was sitting in his lap, but her face was still tucked into his neck. "How about you array me to bed so neither of us wake up with a crick." She countered.

Levi grinned, shaking his head a little at Raina's suggestion. "Okay then." He said, scooping her up and standing, carrying her bridal style to their room. He shouldered the door open, then moved across the room to carefully lay her down on the bed.

Raina chuckled against Levi's skin, pressing a kiss into the crook of his neck as he picked her up. "I love you." She murmured as they made their way through the house. As he laid her down on the bed, she threw the covers back and climbed underneath them. She took his hand before he could pull away completely and she pressed a kiss to his knuckles. "We fly out at four tomorrow, right?"

Levi smiled as Raina climbed under the covers. "I love you too." He murmured. He looked back as she caught his hand and kissed his knuckles, turning back toward her. He leaned over and kissed her gently, then pulled back with a tiny smile. "Yeah, but we'll need to be there early to get through security and crap." He said, pulling off his shirt as he went around to his side of the bed.

Raina smiled against Levi's lips, pressing gently back into his little kiss. "Fun." She grumbled something else under her breath. "Let's get a private plane next time, kay?" She suggested jokingly, then she stopped her brow furrowing slightly. Where had that thought come from? She never, ever suggested or even thought about asking Levi to spend his money on something like that. She bit her lip. She was not going to become one of those people who just used their SO's money as they pleased.
