Raina pulled away as Levi took her hands. She turned away slightly, running her hands through her hair. "I mean, I should have expected something like this was going to happen. I knew you were too good for me, but I thought, maybe, just maybe you'd be different." She bit her lip hard as the first few tears spilled over.

Levi stepped back as Raina pulled away, hurt that she'd refused his touch. His eyes widened and he shook his head. "No, please, Raina. I am different. I love you so much. I swear, that wasn't me." He pleaded, practically begging that she listen to him.

Raina whipped back around to face Levi as he spoke. "I just caught you kissing another woman and you expect me to believe that you didn't?!" She finally snapped, unable to hold back the pain and other emotions any longer. "For God's sake we just talked about getting married!" She was full on yelling now, but she couldn't help it.

Levi stared at Raina in shock, his stomach twisting painfully. "I thought you trusted me." He murmured, hurt laced through his voice. "Why don't you believe me? She just came on to me and kissed me and I tried to pull away but I couldn't and when I finally did I immediately wanted to vomit." He said, his voice rising slightly from desperation.

"Yeah, so did I!" Raina shouted. She was sure she blowing this out of proportion, that if she just took a step back and looked at it logically, Levi would be right, but she just couldn't. She'd been hurt too many times in too many different ways for her to see this clearly.. "I love you, d***it!"

[Agent Lilytiger]

Levi ran his fingers through his hair, moaning. "What did I do?" He muttered. "I don't know what I did! I just showed up to this stupid party, only because you wanted me to, and now I'm fighting with you over some stupid girl that I've never met!" He threw his hands into the air and turned away. "Obviously not enough to stop yelling at me long enough to listen to me." He muttered.

Raina groaned. Why did this keep happening to them? They were finally happy for once and then something had to come along and ruin it. "I wanted you here because I figured you'd want to be here! I wanted you to enjoy the results of all your work!" She laced her fingers into her hair and tugged on it. "But no, no. First you're throwing things and not listening and threatening to kill a man, and I thought- I definitely though you were going to hit me earlier! And now you're kissing your ex and telling me you've never met her! If you're going to keep lying to me then get out!" She shouted, gesturing in the general direction of the door.

Levi just wanted to disappear as Raina railed on him. "I wouldn't-" He stared at her in shock as she mentioned his ex. "I didn't- I didn't recognize her." He mumbled half-heartedly, getting the feeling that Raina wasn't going to believe anything he said. He stiffened and clenched his jaw. "I'm not lying to you. But yeah, maybe it's best if I just leave. After all, I wouldn't want to give anything else to blow out of proportion." He muttered, turning toward the door.

Raina wiped her eyes, probably smearing her makeup, but not caring at the moment. "Yeah, you wouldn't hurt me. I've heard that one before." She snorted bitterly. Her lip twitched and and she grit her teeth. How do you just not recognize someone you gave your heart too not that long ago? She nodded sharply. "I'm going back to the house, but maybe you should find somewhere else to stay tonight if you're just going to keep denying it." She snapped, watching him turn away.

Levi felt a few tears prickle at the back of his eyes, and looked down at the floor. Nothing he said was helping. He didn't know what to do. "Fine." He snapped back, unable to hide the hurt in his voice as he pulled the door open and stepped out. He slammed the door shut behind him, not daring to look back. Several people looked over at him but he ignored them, pushing his way through the crowd toward the exit. This was too much. He needed to get out.
