Levi grumbled as he took the notecards and pen. He glanced up at her once, then back down at the textbook. He'd never had pegged her as a law student, but then, who was he to judge? He'd only just met her. The next hour and a half went by incredibly slowly. Levi nearly drifted off several times. He couldn't help it, he spent most of his nights writing new songs for the band to try out. He finally shook himself awake and actually managed to get something done. He finally checked the time, saw that he was going to be late, and pushed the textbook back toward Raina. "It's been a real pleasure," he said sarcastically, "But I've got to run." He stood and shoved the notebook he had pulled out of his bag to take notes back in. He swung the bag over his shoulder and headed toward the door. He paused and looked back. "When are you free next?" He asked her, rather reluctantly.

Raina spent most of the time keeping Levi awake and pointing to where he'd left off in his notes. She took her textbook back, shutting it and tucking it into her bag along with everything else. She just raised a brow slightly at his sarcasm. "The pleasure was all mine, I'm sure." She replied, her words no less seeped in sarcasm than his were. She watched him leave and was just about to shover her folder in her bag when he stopped. She flipped the leather-bound book open and checked her calendar. "Tuesday at 4. Does that work?" She asked.

Levi shook his head. He had a recording session then. "Can you do it later?" He asked. "Maybe 7?" He shifted his bag on his shoulder, trying to adjust the weight. As much as he hated to admit it, he really needed her help. If he didn't get his grade up, he might lose his contract. If that happened, he didn't know what he would do.

Raina scratched her head with her pen as she stared down at her calendar. Seven was her appointment with her therapist, but she could move that, right? "Yeah, I can make that work." She replied after a moment of hesitation, penciling "call Ellen and move appointment" into the margins of her book. She shut her folder and tucked it into her bag. "Have fun with whatever you're doing, but also study your notes. I'm going to see if I can get Professor McBride to let you retake a couple of the tests."

Levi nodded. "Thanks." He said, then he shoved the door open and walked out. He made his way through the library, taking a shortcut through the fiction section and out a back door. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his hoodie, though he didn't bother zipping it up. There was a cold wind blowing across campus, making Levi shiver as it cut right through him. He pulled his phone out and checked the time again. He started jogging across campus, determined not to be late. Again. The rest of his bandmates would never let him hear the end of it. He was really frustrated with the way this semester was turning out. He had hoped that maybe the summer had helped him heal, but with no luck. When fall had come, he had slipped right back into his apathetic behavior of the two years before. Erwin had finally stepped in when the label became worried that he would bring a bad tone to the band with his "irresponsible behavior". Levi didn't really understand why they kept him and the rest of the band in school, they had less time for tours and such. But hey, they were making money and that was all that mattered to them. Levi snorted as he reached the street outlining the campus. He glanced both ways before jogging across to the small apartment that the label rented for them to use for practice, as the college administration wasn't all too fond of their practices in the dorms.

Raina watched Levi leave. "You're welcome." She said softly as the door swung shut behind him. She stared down at her phone for a minute before clicking it on and scrolling through her contacts to her therapist. Might as well get this over with now. She thought, tapping the number. She balanced the phone between her shoulder and her ear as she packed up the rest of her stuff. "Yeah, hi Ellen. No I haven't done anything stupid, or at least I don't think so. I'm tutoring one of the Juniors and I need to move our appointment on Tuesday. Can we do 4 instead of seven? That still gives us two and a half hours. Okay, thanks Ellen, you're the best." She hung up and looked at her phone for a moment before shaking her head and tossing the device into her bag. She slung the bag over her shoulder and walked out. As she was starting down the stairs, a redheaded boy in ROTC uniform fell into step beside her. "How'd it go?" Raina glanced at Nick and shrugged. "As well as could realistically be expected I guess."

Levi shoved open the back door of the library, the wind nearly blowing him in. He shook his head, water flinging off his hair. He had picked a great day to not bring an umbrella. The storm outside raged wildly and Levi was grateful to warm his hands next to a radiator for a few minutes before heading toward the study rooms. He was there first again, he must've made good time from the studio. He dropped his bag on the table and ruffled his hair, trying to get it to dry somewhat. His long sleeved shirt was also soaked, clinging to his skin. He sighed and pulled it off over his head. He tried to squeeze as much water out of it as possible.

Raina slid her hood back as she more or less ran into the library and up the stairs to the third floor. One of the librarians she passed gave her a pointed look, and she slowed to a very fast walk. She shoved the door to the study room open and stripped off her soaked rain jacket, tossing it over the back of her chair. "I'm sorry I'm late, my appointment went over time and I tripped in the rain and-" She suddenly noticed that Levi wasn't wearing a shirt and she blushed, starting to back out of the room.

Levi looked up as Raina entered the room. He shrugged. "It's fine." he said, twisting the shirt once more before shaking it out. "I only got here a minute ago." He pulled the still wet shirt over his head and shoved the sleeves up to his elbows. He ruffled his hair again, pushing it back out of his face. He sat in his chair and scooted it toward the table. The storm rattled the one small window in the room, making him look up nervously. There was no flash of light, so he took a breath and unzipped his backpack. He pulled out his notebook, a pen and his textbook. "Yes, I came prepared this time." he said, tapping his finger on his book.

Raina removed her hand from the doorknob and took her seat across the table from Levi. She blew several loose strands of damp hair out of her eyes and umped out her bag. She noticed as the thunder crashed and he tensed and she filed it away for investigation at a later date. She nodded. "I commend you for doing something dictated by common sense." She said, her words practically dripping sarcasm, though for some reason her thoughts kept drifting back to him soaking and shirtless. She shook her head slightly. "So I convinced Professor McBride to let you retake two of the tests. You need to pass them with a minimum of 74% and the final with a minimum of 69% as well as turn in all the remaining classwork and score at least a B in order to get your grade back up to a C by the end of the semester."
