Raina adjusted her satchel over her shoulder as she walked across campus. She took a deep breath of the crisp fall air and tugged her red, plaid flannel a little tighter around her body. She hopped up on a low wall and walked along its length, stepping off the end and landing lightly back on the sidewalk. As she entered the building, she pulled out her notebook to check her schedule, she was supposed to be helping tutor on of the Juniors who was currently failing his History course. She stopped in the middle of the hallway as her gaze landed on the name. Levi Ackerman. Great. He was infamous for being one of the most well known kids on campus, not to mention the fact that all the girls seemed to swoon over him. Raina rolled her eyes, stuffed her folder back in her bag, and continued towards the library.

Levi tossed his backpack onto the table, dropping into a chair. He was supposed to be meeting some student who was going to tutor him in history. The only reason he had agreed to it was because Erwin had pressured him to keep his grades up. "It won't look good if you get kicked out of college, Levi." his agent had told him. "Even though the group is picking up speed right now, one bad move could ruin it." Levi had just shrugged and nodded. He didn't really care about his education anymore, granted, he didn't care about much at all anymore. He kicked his feet up onto the table, staring at his beat up black Converse. He'd had them for years now, they were clean, just worn. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the time. Levi decided that his guy better be here in the next five minutes or he'd just leave.

Raina yanked open the library door, rubbing the Scout insignia carved into the front out of habit. It was supposed to give you luck on tests and while studying. She'd never really believed it, but it was a tradition all the same. She swung a right and headed up the stairs to the third floor and silently made her way past several of the private study rooms. She finally found the one Mr. McBride had reserved for her and Levi and pulled the door open. Levi was already there. On his phone. Typical. She dropped into the seat across from him and placed her bag on the table. She steepled her fingers and rest her chin on the back of her hands. "Levi Ackerman."

Levi looked up as he heard the door open. A girl stepped in, placed her bag on the table and sat across from him. He stared at her for a moment as she looked at him. He'd been expecting a guy, he wasn't sure why but he had. Instead, there was a beautiful blonde girl sitting across from him. Not that it changed anything. He still didn't want to be here. "Yep, that's me." He said, swinging his legs off the table and shoving his phone back into his pocket. He nodded at her, shrugging. "Sorry, but I don't have a clue who you are." He said crossing his arms over his chest.

Raina eyed the man in front of her for a moment. Black hair in an undercut, skin clear as all get out that made her slightly jealous if she was honest, and he was short. . . and failing. She extended a hand across the table. "Well you'll have more than a clue pretty quickly. Raina Harden. I'm your history tutor, because according to Professor McBride, you're failing, miserably."

Levi eyed the hand Raina offered for a moment before grasping it and giving it a quick shake. He snorted, dropping her hand. "Yeah, no need to remind me of that. I'm not a complete idiot." He said, folding his arms again and gritting his teeth. This girl was already getting on his nerves. He knew he was failing, he just didn't care. Levi sat forward and placed his hands on the table. "Look, I don't want to be here, and I get the feeling that you don't either." He said in a low voice. "So let's just do-" he gestured at the table "Whatever it is you do, and get out of here."

Raina returned Levi's handshake with a firm one of her own. She raised a brow slightly at his next statement, biting back a snarky comment. Oh this is going to be so much fun. "Well, you're not wrong, but I'm getting extra credit for this." She grabbed her bag and dumped out its contents: the textbook for their class, a couple of other books, several pens, pencils, and notebooks, and her beat up iPhone. "Let's get to work." She opened her folder and flipped to the planner in the back. "So we have" she counted the weeks, chewing on the end of her pen, "nine weeks until finals start, but we actually have ten to get your grade up because the history final isn't until the following Monday." She stuck her pen in her ponytail and looked back to Levi. "So why don't you want to save your grades?"

Levi rolled his eyes. Of course she was getting extra credit. No one was going to do something like this for nothing in return. He stared at her as she pulled out her stuff and flipped through a planner. Ten weeks. Could he really fix this mess in ten weeks? And it wasn't just this class, he wasn't doing so well in his other classes, though at least he wasn't failing them. He grabbed his phone again and opened the calendar app, marking the date of the final. He clicked his phone off again and looked up at her. "Okay, no need to get all psychological here." He said, holding up his hands. "I just need to get my grades up or I'll lose my contract."

Raina smirked a little. "Sorry." She said, not really sounding sorry at all. "Everything's phycological in Law." She slid the textbook across the table to Levi. "That's my copy. Don't screw it up." She ordered, handing over a stack of notecards and a pen. "Let's start at the beginning. Copy down everything highlighted under lesson one." She took a deep breath and let it out. It would be fine. He's be a challenge. And she liked challenges.
