History: James has had an average life with his parents and sister until they went on vacation in the mountains when he was fourteen. They got lost on a hike so what was only suppose to be only an hour hike turned into several hours. James and his parents made it back to their vehicle but his sister went missing on the way back. Several months later, his parents got a divorce and he went to go live with his mom.

Description: Selena stands 15.2 hands to where her horse half stops and another two to three feet to her head. she has a dapple grey arabian horse body and tan skin where her human half begins. Her hair color matches her tail color by starting out as a dark grey before going to light grey halfway down. Lena's hair is naturally straight and ends right where her horse half begins and she has chocolate brown eyes like most members of her herd.
Personality: protective, cautious, intelligent, energetic, wary of humans
History: Selena is part of a centaur herd that roams the wilderness, never staying in one location for a few months before moving on. They always tried to stay away from cities and large towns but one of their members would have a house in the state they are currently in so that they could keep track of the news. They traveled to the area where the academy is located at when Lena got a letter saying that she is part of the school's program

Zane sat under the tree, whispering to himself about how he was selected. He sighed, thinking about how him being here can change, and quite frankly, Zane doesn't want to change. His partner in crime, Alice, laid next to him, whining. He rests his hand on her head, and slide it down her back, petting her gently.

Selena trots around the perimeter of the meadow after saying her goodbyes to her herd. Her tail swishes slightly from nervousness and she tugs on the hem of her sky blue tank since she has never been away from the herd for more than a few days. Lena hears something that sounds like whining (Zane's dog Alice) but doesn't go to inspect the source of it despite her curious nature.

Zane moved around, pushing himself off the ground and stood up on his feet. He whistle for Alice to follow him, as he decided to take a walk around the forest, hoping it may calm a small bit. Alice jumped up, and barked before catching up to her owner.

Carrie - With Star,Max and James

Carrie let Star eat for a while, as she threw the ball for Max to chase. She listen around her, her tail flicking left to right before she called Max back. She saw his figure at the edge of a forest, full of pine trees. She whistle again, trying to beckon him but Max never return. She nudged Star to follow as she walked to Max, hearing him bark at something. "Boy, what is it?" She said, looking where her dog looked at.

James hears barking close by and drops his letter in surprise when he notices the dog close by followed by a girl appearing. He watches as his paper drifted down to the forest floor but doesn't go down to retrieve it since he doesn't know if the dog is friendly to strangers.

Selena gazes up at the sky to watch the clouds drift by before going into the shelter of the forest. She freezes beside a clump of trees when she hears a bark before seeing a dog and teenage boy appear from behind some trees in her sight.

Zane stuffed his hands in his front pockets, watching Alice before looking around the forest. His gaze went around, looking at how each tree was never the same. He stopped on a clump of trees, when he saw something that was not representing a tree. "Hello?" He asked, seeing if it was a human, or maybe a gifted person.

Carrie - Max n James

Carrie came behind Max and saw a letter on the floor of the forest. She picked it up before looking up to see a guy. Or what she assume is a guy, for he or she is hard to see. "I's this yours?" She asked, reaching down to gently smacking Max's head, making him shut up.

James sees the girl pick up the letter and starts to say something when she spoke. He nods to the question before saying, "It is mine. Is your dog friendly?" James has always wanted to have a pet dog but couldn't since his sister was allergic to them and after she disappeared, he couldn't get the courage to ask for one.

Selena starts to take a step back when the dog and boy became more visible since dogs can make her a little nervous but stops when the boy called out a hello. She hesitates for a moment before stepping away from the trees toward the boy and asks in a nervous and gentle voice, "Hello. Are you a human?"

"He is. He just barks at anything." She said, looking down at Max and then move her gaze back up to the boy in the tree. She kept the letter out of Max's reach, and command him to sit, as he done what was told.

Zane - Selena

Zane gave a slight nod, keeping a close eye on Alice. He noticed how she just laid down, panting and watching the person come close. Zane looked back at the person, and he started making out the details of her, noticing she is more of a half human and half horse. He believe those were myth, but here is one in front of him, alive and far from dead.
