Demanicus got right onto the cement as soon as he realised that the other two dragons were waiting for him, quickly mixing it and carefully pouring it into the trench. Once he had smoothed it out with his tail, he opened his mouth and let loose a jet of flame that blew over the newly placed cement, trying not to set fire to the wall itself.

" Choby? Oh, right. Him. I like Choby... he's not as mean as Conrad. You're not mean, are you?" Clemens asked, his tail twitching slightly the second he realised that the fear he was sensing (and that was leading him) was now nowhere to be felt. Now he was starting to withdraw back into his shell.

" You obviously had other things you had to do. But that was then and this is now. And you're right. Thank you for reminding me of that. Seems in all this commotion, I had forgotten." With that, Kratia licked at the blue wolf's cheek in thanks, noticing the droop in Gemma's ears. " Is everything okay with you?"

" Hey, Little Grey!" Krieg called out happily before digging his nose gently into the pup's small body. " Hey Little Lu!" He added when he felt Luigi tugging on his ear. "Do you guys want to give Uncle Kaygis a break?" He asked, knowing full well that he wouldn't get an answer.
" That's not going to happen, Krieg, and you know it." Kaygis said as Zelda managed to tug too hard on one of his ears and ended up tumbling into her sister which ended in a small fight between the two.
Aztec - while jumping on the black panther's back - noticed the fight and instantly tried to stop it. His atepmts seemed to fail as he two was caught up in the fight. However, he did seem to turn the fight into a game when he suddenly realised his sisters had ganged up on him yet again and he was chased around the adult and young teen by them. Kaygis' tail, on the other hand, seemed to be keeping Tidus amused while Aquile went in search of Aden after discovering the grey wolf pup was no longer playing with Uncle Kaygis' tail with them.

Snowdrift used his snowy breath to ensure that Demanicus' flame would not catch the wall and once the cement was dry the two younger dragons released the now free-standing wall to go retrieve two of the three for the back wall, they then lowered the two side-by-side into the newly cleared trench at the back of the new cave, ready to be cemented in.

Hearing the jaguars words, Mana realised that the body houses at least three personalities and its 'Conrad' who has the dislike of Tasuki. She smiled at his question though. "Like all creatures I have the capacity to be mean but no, it's not in my general nature."

"Emotions can easily cloud a clear mind and with everything that's happened the past few weeks i can understand how it slipped from your mind during the panic." Gemma said to her paws before looking up at the tiger. "Everything is alright, your words just reminded me of when we found out that Grams' health took a sudden turn for the worst, we didn't have long with her after finding out before she passed away whilst we were at school..." She responded with a sad smile to show Kratia she was okay despite her words.

Aden grinned at Krieg around the fur in his mouth growling playfully as he the tail swayed off the ground taking his light body with it. From his slight vantage point off the ground he could see Kurama emerging from Tasuki's tails with a toothy yawn. When their eyes met Aden wiggled his front paws, beckoning the young fox over and Kurama looked up at Tasuki.
"Otosan, can I pwese go pway wit Ade?" He asked, licking at Tasuki's chin.
Tasuki cast a wary gaze over the other family before licking his kit softly.
"You promise Papa you will be careful and play nice with the others?" He asked and at the kits nod he nudged Kurama away from himself and towards the playing young. Tasuki's body arched slightly, all his senses on edge the moment Kurama was out of reach. The kit, like his father cautiously approached his friend and the strangers, on some level he recognized the delicacy of the situation by his fathers actions.

Demanicus gathered the third part of the back wall and placed it beside the other two before turning to Snowdrift. " Do you want to meld these three together before or after we put the cement in?"

" I can't be mean. That's Conrad's job. But what I can... or could do, was sense emotions. And I'm sure I sensed intense fear and caution somewhere around here. It's what woke me up, after all. Now I don't know what happened, where I am or where those emotions went. I'm lost." Clemens replied, sensing that he really was amongst friends and that, if he really needed it, Raimundo was near by and ready to 'spring' at any sign of distress from him.

Kratia rubbed her head against the blue wolf's in an attempt to comfort her. " I'm sorry to hear. But hopefully she went quickly and as painlessly as possible." Without meaning to, the white tiger turned away from Gemma over to where Zyanya was sleeping beside Raimundo and a small sigh escaped her lips.

Krieg lowered his tail again for a few seconds before raising once more, turning it into a ride before noticing the young fox kit cautiously making his way over to them. " Captain Kurama, Sir. Glad to see you up and okay. Come play with Little Grey and the others." He smiled, trying not to wag his tail for Aden's sake.

Iora turned to Dakota when she heard the she-wolf sigh.
" Is everything alright?" She asked gently.

[Bakura]

"It would be best to meld them first, that way we do not have to worry about the metal drying along the ground." Snowdrift responded as Bloodshot moved to help steady the three walls.
Snowdrift flapped his wings and, being careful of Demanicus and his brother, he breathed in deep before leaning over the first gap and allowing the liquid metal to pour from his maw, after it covered the whole gap he blew at the cooling metal with his icy breath to help set it faster. He then preceded to complete the same process with the second gap and after blowing on the last of the cooling metal he landed softly beside Demanicus, admiring his work.

"Well for starters you're safe, you are in a barn with your family and friends. My family and friends are also staying here, so you have no need to worry about us. As for Fear and Caution... Your other personalities are not fond of a member of my family, which lead to him outcasting himself... He has only recently returned and is afraid of any backlash his presence may cause. The feelings disappeared because he understands that your personality presents him no threat." Mana explained as she looked over at Tasuki whose attention was flickering between Kurama and herself.

Gemma accepted the tigers comfort with a sad smile, "It was neither quick nor painless but she is in a better place now..." She whispered before laying her head on her paws. Her ears twitched at the tigers sigh, but she chose not to address it as she did not wish to bring up any more sad happenings into their already depressing conversation. She released a soft, sad sigh herself.

Aden giggled gleefully as he clung to Krieg's shifting tail, he tried to use his body to drag the appendage back to the ground, but his lightness did nothing but make him sway back and forth. Kurama watched his friend playing and with the brown wolf's Kurama ran over and snagged Aden's tail, playfully growling as he attempted to aid the pup in his mission to lower Krieg's tail.

Dakota's eyes flickered over the interactions within the barn and a soft smile crossed her muzzle, she looked to Iora at the Dragons question and shook her head.
"Everything is alright, seems there is nothing to worry about for now." She responded before her eyes trained back on her twin and Clemens. 'Everything is alright for now but what happens when Choby returns or worse Conrad', she thought to herself. A shiver ran down her spine and her eyes flickered to Gemma as the youngers sadness pulsed through her body. She whined lowly at the remembrance of their late grandmother and closed her eyes to think.

(I figured it was about time we pick this thing back up)

Again Demanicus hurried to mix a new batch of cement before pouring it into the trench and over Snowdrift's metal work. He even smoothed out the cement with his tail, grimacing a little at both the cold touch and the idea of having dried cement attached to him. But he managed to ignore it as he blew over the trench with a light flame to dry it quickly.
" What now?" he asked stupidly, momentarily having forgotten how they were rebuilding this larger cave.

" A barn. Why are we in a barn?" Clemens asked, turning his head to where Mana's voice was coming from.

" I'm sorry." Kratia whispered, returning her gaze to Gemma. Gently, she nudged the wolf in an attempt to comfort her before she realised that a change of subject was definitely needed. " Hey, looks like Aden is having fun."

Iora noticed the shiver that ran through Dakota's body and gently pulled herself away from the kids, directing them to where Krieg was playing with Aden and Kurama, before making her way over to where Dakota lay.
" Are you sure everything's fine?" She asked gently, laying herself down in front of the barn doors and making a barrier that the youngsters couldn't get around once she was sure everyone was safely in the barn.

Feeling Kurama's added weight on his tail, Krieg turned to look at the two youngsters, a look of fake horror on his face.
" Oh no. They're ganging up on me! What am I going to do now?" He called out before slowly starting to stalk in circles like he was trying to catch his own tail. It was noticed too late that Monty had led the other kids towards his cousin.


(good idea. the only problem i have with that, though, is having to read back all the way past a lot of stuff just to figure everything out again. also, Demanicus is channeling me at the moment, his last sentence proves it.)

Snowdrift looked over their progress and assessed what still needed to be done. His eyes landed on the left edge of their now free-standing back wall and he noticed that to be able to place the side walls, they would need to knock down the old caves which are currently in the way.
"Now that both our families have been moved safely to the barn, we should begin the demolition of the old caves. They are blocking us from progressing construction of the new cave's side walls." He said looking back to Demanicus for confirmation.

"I'm not sure how we all ended up here, but we are not in our familiar worlds. Somehow both our families were pulled into this alternate universe and we are trapped here..." Mana said down-trodden, then she realized that her words might upset the pale jaguar and quickly tried to add light to their situation. "We're safe! Relatively... We are sending out search parties every other day to scour the land we are on, in hopes of finding more of our families or even a way home. We've set up camp here and are staying in this barn till the boys finish construction of our den." Mana hoped her words did not distress the jaguar but it had to be said, she didn't want to lie to her new friend.

"It's alright and thankyou." Gemma replied softly, a small smile making its way onto muzzle at the tigers abrupt change of topic.
Her eyes flitted to where Aden and Kurama were playing with Krieg and she couldn't help the small giggle which bubbles from her chest at seeing the 'distressed wolf'.
"I'm glad that despite the situation, he can still be a child." She said lightly, she mentally took the note of the location of her other children and she barked out a laugh when she found Link on the rebels side of the barn, he was sitting near Taka, slowly shifting closer but trying not to make himself obvious. She could hear the laughter of his cousins from their safe vantage point. He looked back at them, giving them a wolfish smirk before he shuffled a bit closer and directed a friendly smile at the jaguar.

"Yes." Dakota responded as her families laughter flowed through her body. "I just have... very strong emotional connections to my family and friends. Gemma's conversation with Kratia stirred up some bad memories." She responded looking up at the concerned Dragoness with a soft smile.


Both pup and kit let out joyful giggles as their older playmate began spinning them in circles.

" Then let's get destroying. just try not to knock yourselves out in the process." Demanicus said before lowering his head and charging at the nearest wall.
the result of the charge was that the wall managed to crack where his horns collided with it, but it seemed to do more damage to the black dragon that the wall. Demanicus had to shake his head clear of the impact as he moved away.

" So we're in a barn because we are in some strange world and can't get out." Clemens muttered as if to himself. that was when his ear twitched as he sensed the concern and fear coming off the wolf beside him. " Do not worry. fear will get us nowhere, especially in a situation like this. we need to be strong and believe that we will get home safely. in fact, you'll find that our way home is more often than not the place we least expect it to be. Now, I believe I have someone to meet with. You wouldn't mind taking me to your friend, would you?"

Taka had just finished grooming his tail and was going to look around the barn for his siblings and cousins when he noticed the green wolf sitting next to him, surprisingly close. his shock at the sudden appearance caused him to yelp and jump up, slipping slightly on his own tail and landing hard on his rump where his right leg should have been.
" Hey! Warn a guy before you sneak up on him!" He yelped, righting himself and trying to settle his racing heart.

" You're an empath? I've heard about them. Aren't they like psychics?" Iora asked, tilting her head in confusion as the memory of her family friend, Celeste, emerged from the depths of her mind.
Without realising, she heaved a small sigh and turned to face Monty who had just now pounced on Krieg. the brown wolf yelped as the pup's head collided with his stomach and he was forced to the ground, and he couldn't help the growl that erupted from his throat as he got up and looked at his cousin. But with the short attention span that was Monty's mind, the pup had already gone on to continue with whatever game he was playing.

The two brothers watched the larger dragon charge at the stone wall and his subsequent pain and looked to each other. With a nod from Snowdrift, Bloodshot shifted, he made sure nothing could be hit with the recoiling fire before releasing a stream of his hottest flame. Snowdrift watched with a trained eye as the stone began to soften beneath his brothers molten fire. Bloodshot shifted his stream to make a clean line across the length of the cave and once the flame ceased, with a grunt at the power behind his swing, Snowdrift whipped his tail through the softened stone. The two brothers then lifted the severed stone out of the way. All that remained of the once cave was a half a meter of stone, settled in the dirt. Once placing the stone out of the way the two brothers shifted into their tiger forms and began digging around what was left of the Eternally Bound cave.

"Thankyou for the reassurence my friend, it's just difficult to think of what might happen if we are stuck here and even what will happen to us when we return home. Will we remember anything of what has happened? Or will it be like this never happened?" She questioned a fallen expression on her face as she looked over to Tasuki who was still watching them, less cautious now. Mana then nodded to the Jaguar's statement and brushed her tail against him as she started back towards her fox. "I will lead you to him." She said stopping just before her tail left the Jaguar's fur.

The startled sound from the jaguar beside him made Link yelp and back up slightly all bravado gone and his shyness pushing itself to the surface in his stunned state. Before he could even stutter out an apology and slink back to his cousins, a blur of white pushed him back and Akyme was stood between him and the jaguar. A growl escaping in her agitition due to what she believed to be a threat.
"He is just trying to be nice, it's no reason to yell at him!" She ground out, tail whipping around. Behind her, Krystal was comforting Link and Spitz was sitting beside his cousins with a neutral look on his face, eyes trained on the jaguar. He was tensed like he was ready to spring should harm befall his sister.

"Empath is the term I have been using, yes. However it doesn't react to just anyone, It really only kicks in once I have a connection with someone. After that connection is formed, I can feel both physically and mentally what my connections are feeling. Which can lead to some very awkward situations." Dakota chuckled good-naturedly before her mind zeroed in on the commotion surrounding the young of her pack. She stood immediately going to intervene when she felt the presence of her husband who settled beside her.
"Leave them be, there will be squabbles and if the kids can't work out their differences and get along on their own, our families will not be able to live together in peace." He soothes and despite every bone in her body and most of the adults in her pack (through her empathy), screaming at her to go to their aid. She stayed still, watching their interaction and hoping it would work out.

With the thud of the bigger body hitting the ground, Kurama and Aden lost their grips on the brown tail and tumbled to the floor. Kurama lifts himself right away and shook himself before looking to Aden who had the most heart-broken look on his face. Kurama whined and nuzzles his white cheek in an attempt to cheer him up, however it didn't work and the small pup sprinted towards his mother and wailing. "Mama!"

Seeing an opportunity, Demanicus once more charged at the remains of the stone. this time, however, he forced all his weight into his shoulder, hoping to flatten it before he could get his claws into it. He even took a page out of Bloodshot's book and shot a flame at the rock in order to make it easier to dig at, though it wasn't as successful as the tiger morpher. his tail, on the other hand, was an effective demolition tool. Pretty soon, the three had destroyed the entirety of one of the caves.
" On to the next?" He asked with a slightly goofy smile.

" Who knows." Clemens sighed before taking Mana's tail gently into his mouth and nodding his head to let her know that he was ready to move on.

" Nice, Monty." Krieg sighed, watching the young pup lead Aztec, Tammy, Zelda, Theluji, Tidus, Aquile and the two from the other group over to a pile of hay that had not long appeared out of nowhere.
The next thing he heard, however, was Aden's scream. instantly, his ears dropped to his head and his tail tucked itself between his legs as he slowly turned to watch the young grey pup charging towards his mother in fear and possibly pain.
" Oh, Little Grey. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm sorry." He whimpered, getting on his stomach and dragging himself over to the small pup as slowly and carefully as he could.

Iora raised her paw in shock at the sudden appearance of Bane, but she quickly placed it back down with a sigh once she realised who it was. The vampire's words, however, also made her look in the same direction that the older pair was. What she saw, however, made a low growl erupt from her chest and her head lower slightly in case she was needed to defend her family.

Over with Taka, he was more confused that anything. One minute, he was grooming himself, completely not harming anyone. The next, he turns around and there's this wolf just there and probably unintentionally scaring the living daylights out of him. Now there was a white wolf between the two being all protective of the green one. He didn't even have the chance to react before he felt someone alight onto his shoulder.
Seeing Akyme's defence as a threat itself, almost all of the rebels kids had looked up (or down in the case of the eagle brothers) to where Taka had been. Tobias was the first to get to Taka, landing on his shoulder to try and show that he was there to help, and puffing himself out to make himself look bigger. His brothers, Barb and Cragus, alighted on the shoulders of Emma and Jaymie who were next to arrive, taking their place beside Taka. Rictor had instantly bounded in front of his older brother with their cousins, Nikila and Samantha, taking place alongside Emma and Jaymie. Even Seth, Ray and Kai had begun prowling towards the barrier.
The weirdest one, though, was little Luigi, who ducked between the legs of the gathering and hissed at Akyme from beneath Rictor's legs.
" You leave my cousin, Taka, alone!" He growled angrily, throwing in another hiss just for good measure.

[Bakura]

"Yes, then we can begin the side walls and get this cave looking as it should." Bloodshot nodded to the elder before he shook out his body and moved to begin heating the stone of the second cave.

Mana froze at the sound of their youngest members wailing and the commotion with their teenagers but she continued on towards Tasuki, knowing that if there really was trouble she would have been alerted by her sisters. "He is just over here." She said to Clemens and once they reached Tasuki, the fox hunched his shoulders and fluffed the fur around his neck slightly in distress. Not really sure what else to do with herself, Mana eased her tail from the Jaguars jaw and took up a seat beside Tasuki, before wrapping her tail around two of his.

Kurama followed closely behind his friend who had ducked under Gemma's waiting paw.
"Ade! Is Awight, Kwie not mean it." Kurama tried to comfort him before looking over his shoulder where the brown wolf was slowly making his way back to them. "Wook, he come say sowy!" Kurama exclaimed shaking Aden with his paws in excitement and the grey pup, opened one golden and whined at the his new friend.
"I hurt." He sniffed as he pulled himself out from his mothers grasp and sat down. Ears drooped and eyes watery.
"Oh Kid, I'm sure it was an accident. Why don't you accept his apology and go play, you were having so much fun." Gemma sad, nudging him lightly in the back. Kurama released a happy bark and lowered his head to the floor, tail wagging playfully behind him.
"Come Ade! Wet's Pway some more!" He grinning happily at his friend.
"Wat if I gets hurt more?" He asked sadly, looking to the brown wolf with unsure eyes.

"I will not interfere, but go alert Jordon, I don't want this to get out of hand." Dakota said looking at Bane who nodded in understanding before he crossed the barn to where Jordon and Phoenix were curled up. Dakota watched as he spoke softly to her and her head shot to the teens before meeting her eyes. The tiger nodded and at Dakota's returned nod, she arose and moved so she had a better view of the teenagers. Dakota sighed and lay down. 'Are we never going to get a break?'.

Charmed watched from her resting position as the Rebels young gathered around her younger cousins and she sighed before kicking Hunter in the side. "Go." she demanded and he grunted at her before dragging himself to his feet and trekking across the barn.

"Now, now Akyme." He tittered before stopping beside her and tugging lightly on her scarf to get her attention. Her growl left the Jaguar and was turned on her cousin. How dare he tug on her scarf. She snapped at the orange wolf, growling when he playfully danced out of her reach. With her attention now completely diverted to himself, Hunter successfully led her away with playful jeers and light tugs on her scarf. His eyes caught Charmed's and at the look of approval that they held, he didn't even care when his younger cousin tackled him to the ground and started biting him. He really did know better than to touch her scarf.

With his hot-headed sister safely out of the way, Spitz quickly moved in to defuse the situation. He slowly took up Akyme's position between the Rebels and his cousins and bowed his head. He thought about what to say to dispell the situation and decided it was probably best to not include any of his nicknames which such a tense atmosphere between them. "I do apologize, both for Link scaring Taka and for Akyme's defensive behavior. Our parents are big believers in allowing us to deal with our issues and correct our mistakes ourselves and we are all quite... Protective of Link. He was just trying to be friendly, Aunt Gemma has made friends with your Kratia and... Well we figured we should try to be-friend you guys as well. Link offered to try but I guess we should have known how it would turn out." He said with a sigh before raising his head. His blood red eyes took in the family before him and he smiled slightly, his left canine making an appearance. "So to set things right, how about we start over. I'm Spitz, the brown lion behind me is Krystal, Link is the awkward green wolf and the white wolfdog that just ran off is my little sister Akyme. She's actually pretty harmless." He laughed before straightening out his face and putting on a serious tone for show.
"Just don't touch her scarf."
