" That... would be a good idea. Let's do that. The only problem is that I blanked out somewhere along the lines and I have no idea where we're up to with that." Demanicus replied.

" Well, um, my brothers Uphere and Demanicus are working with Bloodshot and Snowdrift to combine the two caves. but in order to continue construction, they need to knock down the existing caves. I have made a temporary living space in a barn until construction is finished and was hoping you would be willing to move there for, say, a day or two until construction is complete?" Iora replied with a slight shake in her voice.

[Bakura]

"Well Uphere and I had just finished the complete design of the first wall while you and Bloodshot were working on the second. I feel it would be best to build the side and back walls using the finished wall, to save both time and materials, it will also ensure that the cave will be even." Snowdrift explained and he smacked Bloodshot with his tail when he noticed the younger about to make a snarky comment towards the black were-dragon before them. He then beat down his wings, ignoring his brothers glare and flew off to the side before allowing his mind to create four more of the original wall. "With my metal I can combine three of the pre-made walls to create the back wall and the fourth can be for the unfinished side." He called down to the two grounded dragons.

Dakota's ear twitched as she noted Iora's demeanour. She bowed before the she-dragon, acknowledging her words before straightening herself. She approached Iora cautiously, flicking her tail behind her with a soft growl to signal that the others were to follow Iora's orders. She stopped a safe distance from the she-dragon, looking directly into her golden depths.

" Then that's what we'll do. Dragons, let's get building." Demanicus nodded, heading over to the already made back wall and using his tail to smash it down.

" To be honest, Dakota. I didn't think you'd agree." The she-dragon said before taking a deep breath. " Please, follow me."
After waiting for Dakota's reply and the Eternally Bound group to get up, she led them to the barn. Monty, by this time, had completely woken up from his earlier nap and started prancing around the new group with his tongue sticking out in a smile. It was clear that the hyperactive pup had woken up in play mode once more.

Bloodshot moved over to the now fallen wall and used his tail to drag it out of the way so there would be room to put up the new back wall, seeing the splintering at the bottom where the logs snapped due to the concrete he glanced back to the offending ground where the remaining logs and the solid concrete was still wedged into the ground.
"We will have to remove the concrete before we can lay down the new wall." He called out to Demanicus and his brother.

Dakota nodded to the she-dragons parting words and trotted out of the cave, her family right behind her. She followed Iora, careful of all the construction. Dakota glanced back at Tasuki who was currently being nuzzled by Mana as they walked, Kurama wrapped safely in his tails. She then looked back at Iora responding to her first statement.
"We do not mind being in close quarters with your family as long as they are willing to accept Tasuki as one of our own." Dakota went to say more when she was distracted by the appearance of the lab pup they had saved in the valley. Most of her family passed her as she stood by the entrance with Iora smiling as Axel and Elena ran over to the lab pup to play. Beside Dakota, Aden wiggled in Gemma's grip to go play aswel but she kept a firm grip on his scruff. Gemma looked into the barn where her family had gotten comfortable together and with distance from the other family. She could tell they were unsure who should make the first approach. She looked back at Dakota who was still by the entrance with Iora before glancing over the other family. Spotting Kratia who she figured she had some sort of connection with she cautiously slunk her way over to Kratia before slowly lowering herself beside the tiger, nestling Aden between her forepaws. He only sign of her nervousness was her lowered head over Aden, slightly shielding him as a precaution.

" Then I guess we'll have to dig it out." the black dragon said, using the tip of his tail to try and dig around the concrete.

"At least Choby gets a second chance at proving himself to you and your group. Raimundo and I, on the other hand, i know will willingly accept Tasuki. Now I'm just worriedabout everyone else not accepting each other."
At that moment, Iora noticed Monty and the other kids were getting a little bit too far from the barn for her liking and decided to warn him not to go too far, but before she could, she noticed movement inside.
Kratia looked up from worrying about Magnar when Gemma lay down beside her.
"Hello, Gemma. Who's this with you?" She greeted.

Snowdrift, hearing his brother's words allowed his Chumager skin to take over as he ran to where Demanicus was digging, he then began using his powerful forepaws to burrow into the ground around the solid concrete, Bloodshot following his example.

Dakota nodded to Iora before she glanced away from the frolicking kids to look in at their families. She watched Gemma with a smile before her gaze shifted to Tasuki who was discretely watching Choby with a wary gaze, she noticed him unconsciously shift closer to Mana as well as his tails moving to shift Kurama between them, covering him with the tails not wrapped around the kit's small body. Mana burrowed her muzzle between his tails to nuzzled the sleepy Kurama.

Axel tripped over a small log and stopped playing when he noticed they were straying too close to the building and too far from the barn. Knowing they had to return he attempted to coax the lab pup and Elena back towards the barn, his younger cousin followed happily, rolling onto her back in the dirt near Dakota.

Gemma, noticing Kratia's slight acceptance of her presence, licked Aden on the head before meeting the tiger's sad eyes.
"This is Aden, the newborn I was worried about. I'm relieved that your family found him for me." Gemma explained with a soft smile, twitching her ear in slight discomfort. Charmed who had been watching her mother's attempt from across the room got to her feet, causing Link to roll off her back and into Hunter who was resting beside her. The red she-wolf crossed the barn confidently, she nuzzled into Kratia, licked Aden on the head, then laid down beside Gemma with a reassuring smile. Glad for the support, Gemma looked back to Kratia and shifted her paw to cover the tiger's larger one. "Is everything alright?" She asked softly, eyes full of concern. Tsume, seeing Charmed move to Gemma and Kratia quickly held back Link who went to attack his sister for abruptly tossing him to the ground. Hunter laughed softly at the green wolf as the two elders and the unhappy teen watched mother and daughter interact with the sad tiger.

Demanicus welcomed the help, but with his front paws, he made sure to keep the stuck wall fragments from falling on anybody... including the tigers. In no time at all, and with all three working, they had successfully dug around and under the cement. That left them with a new problem; what were they going to do with the old wall's remains?
It was Demanicus that voiced the question. " What do we do with the remains? Use them for the cave or wait and figure out what to do after the cave is built?

To immersed in the game to notice anything, Monty charged at Axel and somehow managed to fly over the tiger cub instead, landing on Iora's scales. That then led into Iora absentmindedly playing with the young ones while still watching the two separate groups.

Choby turned away from the entering group, too ashamed about what had happened with the nine-tailed fox. He knew he was lucky to be given a second change by both Iora and Dakota, but now he didn't know what to do with that second chance. before he knew what was happening, his mind was being forced back as one of his other alters took over. He was never to know that his eyesight had disappeared with the change.
Clemens easily picked up on the fear and caution that seemed to flow throughout the building, but he also knew that he was in a strange place. And because he was in a strange environment, it also meant that he was more than likely to bump into people and objects. knowing this, however, he still got up stumbled towards the greatest sense of fear: knocking into people and things in the process (even going as far as to apologise to a pole because he thought it was a person). His target; Tasuki.

" Aden. what a lovely name for such a lovely young boy." Kratia replied with a slight smile as she lowered her nose to the pup. She also noticed Ritara's ear twitch at the name and her thoughts darkened as she remembered not only the birth of her children but also the story of the birth of Ritara's first litter. After a sigh she looked up at Gemma and Charmed.
" I've always had troubles with keeping my children. My earlier scare was one such occasion. But to have my eldest child, who was so strong at birth, now so close to death's door... it always scares me. Expecially since a side effect of Magnar's fire lion form is that he goes cold after being knocked out. Sleeping isn't an issue for him, but it's like his fire goes out when he is knocked unconscious and i am afraid that he could die because of it. I'm just thankful that his brother, Mazari, turned out more like his father in that respect."

Once the digging was complete, both brothers shifted back to their dragon forms. At Demanicus' words, Bloodshot glanced over the remains of the old wall and then glanced to Snowdrift who had a thoughtful mask on his face. He wrapped his tail around his legs and left the response to his brother. After a moment Snowdrift glanced at the quarter-built cave before his eyes returned to the black dragon. "We should keep it off to the side, we will not be needing it for the sides and looking over the remaining materials we may not even need it for the roof, it would be best to wait to decide. If we finish construction without using it perhaps we can alter it to cover the front of the cave to help shelter the entrance from wind and other weather." Snowdrift responded and Bloodshot nodded to his words.

Dakota laughed lightly as she watched she she-dragon playing with the young, she then turned her attention back into the barn. She was quite worried about Tasuki's situation and like Iora, was unsure if the two families could actually get along under the same roof. She lay down at the entrance with a sigh, watching everyone in case something went wrong.

Tasuki noticed the moment Choby's fur dulled and he couldn't explain the calmness that washed over him. He no longer felt threatened in the jaguar's presence. Mana noticed his muscles relax beside her and smiled, they both watched as 'Choby' stumbled in their direction and seeing his odd behaviour, Mana recognized that he was actually blind. She got up and ran over to him, lightly leaning against his side to stabilize him. "Where is it you wish to go?" She questioned offering the blind jaguar her assistance.

Gemma smiled as Aden pawed at Kratia's nose playfully before he scrambled out of her paws. Relaxing slightly now that she knew there was at least an understanding between them. Gemma allowed Aden to go off in the barn, she knew that there would at least be four sets of eyes watching him even if they aren't her own. She focused instead on the tiger, she noticed the shadow that crossed her eyes and assumed it meant something had upset the tiger. She waited patiently for a response figuring this was an uneasy topic.
"I'm sorry to hear about the troubles with your eldest and I'm glad your other children," She stopped to place her paw lightly against the white rounded belly. "Are doing ok. I do hope that Magnar's problem does resolve, that he will be ok... And I'm sorry for not staying after we found you that day..." Gemma retracted her paw and looked down at the ground guilty.

Aden, now free from his mother's clutches shook his head and took in everything around him. He stumbled past afew adults he didn't recognise before his eyes found a group of young with their parents. His tail wagged happily seeing more young but he could tell they were still too young to play with so he kept moving. He noticed Tasuki off to his right and figured Kurama would be about but as he went to move to see, his eyes got distracted by the thin black tail twitching across the ground. Before he could stop himself he had pounced on Kaygis' tail and was playfully nibbling on it.

" Right. Barriers are good. They're good defense and with younglings around it's good to have a good defense. And we don't want anyone to get cold. And I really should shut up and continue working." With that determined in Demanicus' head, he proceeded to cut the wall remains into thirds with his tail. It would be easier to move out of the way now. That done, he picked up one of the pieces and moved it out of the way of construction.

Clemens tensed at the unfamiliar touch - nearly jumping out of his skin - but somehow he managed to find his voice where it would have otherwise failed around a stranger.
" Who's there?" He asked as his tip-less ears swiveled around to lay themselves flat on the back of his head.

" It's okay. You had other things on your mind at the time. I understand that. I just... have a knack for finding trouble." At that, Kratia scratched at her stomach, showing off the surgical scar from seven years ago. " And, apparently so do my boys. I just wish there was something I could do for Magnar."

Kaygis felt the light nibbles on his tail and couldn't help the smile that broke out on his face as he turned to face the grey wolf pup. He watched as he twitched his tail out of the pup's mouth and proceeded to torment the pup with it. But it was as he turned back to the front where Ebony was grooming Finealta and Jacob that he noticed the six cubs hurry towards him.
" Oh, no. Not again." He muttered as Tidus and Aquile were the first to reach him and pounced on his tail alongside the wolf pup.
Aztec, Tammy, Zelda and Luigi were the last to reach him as they pounced on his back. Thankfully, his help came in the form of the brown Kreig who was eager to play too, being careful of the youngsters.

Snowdrift and Bloodshot stayed quiet through Demanicus' short ramble before following his example and moving the remaining two thirds out of the way of their construction. Once placed, Snowdrift flew over to one of the four materialised walls, he gripped the edge with his claws and used his wings to shift it to the dug out trench, where he slowly lowered it into place. He flapped his wings at a lazy pace to keep himself in flight as he held it still. Bloodshot quickly moved over to his brother on ground level and spread his wings for balance to help Snowdrift keep the wall in place. They then glanced to Demanicus waiting for him to add the cement.

"It's alright." Mana said in a reassuring voice. "My name is Mana, a friend. My guess is that Choby is no longer in control?" She asked lightly, noticing his discomfort at the unfamiliar touch.

"Even still, I'm sorry for not staying to help..." Gemma respond, ears flat against her head, her eyes flickered to the tigers visible scar at her movement but she chose not to comment on it in case it brought up any bad memories. "It is frightening when you find out a loved one is not well... But the best thing you can do is be with him and look after him, no matter the outcome." Gemma responded unsure how to comfort Kratia, her ears drooped slightly as she remembered rushing Grams to hospital when the elders health suddenly decayed overnight.

Aden released a childish giggle when the panther began shifting his tail to play with him. He kept trying to paw at it and just as he caught it the new comers knocked it out of his grip. He whined softly at the loss but then he noticed Krieg's tail swaying behind him and he leapt over to catch the fur in the loose grip of his jaws.
