[Drake99]

I laugh and hold up my other hand. I open it and show her
the bullets that I'm holding. "Good luck with killing me."
I say with a smirk. I pocket the bullets and wait to see what
she will do.

Georgie looked at the bullets, and her face fell. She set the gun down. "I'm only nineteen," she whimpered. "Please."

I sigh. "Im only 18." I say. I raise my arm and aim.
I throw the knife. It flies past her ear and imbeds its
self in the wall behind her. I see some blood on it
where it nicked her ear.

Georgie whimpered, squeezing her eyes shut. When she realized she was still alive, her hand touched where the knife grazed her. She looked at him, confused and grateful. "You missed," she stated. "From the looks of it, you wouldn't miss unless you mean to."

I nod. "Exactly. Now all that accomplished was extending
you life span and getting me possibly killed." I say grimly.
I open the window and jump out.

Georgie watched him. "Wait," she said, biting her lip. "You... You don't have to go back. At least not tonight. I don't want to die, but I don't want someone else to die because of me," she said.

I sigh and climb back in. I close the window and grab my knife.
I sheath it the. Take off my kevlar vest and sit down on the
couch. "What's your name?" I ask.

She looked at him. "Georgie," she said. She didn't sit. She was still a bit on edge after what had just happened, which was probably no surprise. Georgie watched him to make sure he wouldn't try anything else.

I nod. "I'm Drake." I say. I pull my two pistols and night sticks out of my utility belt and set them on the tabe. I toss on of the pistols to Georgie. "If it helps calm you down, take it." I say.

She caught the pistol, and sighed. "Thanks," she said softly. Georgie went and sat on the recliner, but stayed alert. She didn't relax or anything, and she kept her eye on him.
