How did he figure out I was good at dance? Did I say it to him? I don't think so. Maybe it's because he looked at your schedule and saw your bag with the giant letters reading 'dance' on it. Idiot. Hearing his reasoning I smile a little. That sounded nice, to be supported by his aunt. When he asks me if it was because of family, I immediately blurt out, "oh gosh no." Blushing immensely, I look down at my hands, unable to believe I just said that aloud. My mother is a forensic scientist and my father is a lawyer, my family didn't have one creative bone in any of their bodies, they hated the arts, but he didn't need to know that. Instead I tell him only what he asked about, the reason I started dancing. "My English tutor... she ran a dance studio as well. She saw how nervous and shy I was and thought that dancing would help me develop confidence... but all it's helped me develop is terrible stage fright," I mumble quietly. I was good in English, well, okay at it, I am phenomenal in math, like really, really good. Anyways, the only reason why I got an English tutor at such a young age was to make sure I didn't fall behind. You can't become a doctor is you don't have good grades.
