High school for the arts

I smile at Eric as he says that I'm a lot stronger than I think, saying to him, "you're too sweet, I hope you know that." As he kissed me, I kissed him back. Hearing him say that we should get some sleep, I nod. "You're right. Don't want to be tired for tomorrow. I love you too," I say to him, before slowly walking towards my bedroom.

Eric smiled at her. "I know it now." He said to her. He was so glad he had her. He watched her go before he went to bed. He got a call early in the morning from his parents and talked to them for a while. He then overslept the next morning due to his parents keeping him up so late to talk to him.

Normally when I woke up, then Eric either woke up right before or right after me. So when I had already eaten breakfast and he still wasn't awake, I knew something was wrong. I walked over to the room where he slept, careful not to drop one of my crutches as I knocked on the door. When there was still no answer, I called to him saying, "Eric? Are you awake?"

Eric slept through her knocking. "Hmm? Come in. What time is it?" He asked with a tired voice. He had clearly still been asleep and he was still exhausted. He went to the door and opened it and blinked at the light. He was still wearing his pajamas. He looked at the time. "I will be ready in about ten. Then we can leave." He said knowing they needed to go. He shut the door and changed.

I was surprised to see that he had still been asleep. "What happened? Were you up late last night? Why are you just waking up now?" I tried to ask him, but I knew I needed to let him get ready if we were still going to make it to school on time. "Okay, just try to get ready as quick as you can," I say, walking away from his room so he could get ready.

Eric was still exhausted but he got ready as quick as he could and then walked out of his room grabbing his backpack as he left. He looked at his girlfriend and smiled a little. "Let's go." He said skipping breakfast entirely. He did not have time to eat. He kissed her forehead and went to the car and opened the door for her and then got in.

I knew that he wouldn't have time for breakfast. We would barely make it to school now if he got ready quickly. However, I didn't like the idea of him skipping breakfast, so while he was getting ready, I went into the kitchen. I grabbed him an apple and a granola bar, thinking that at least he'd have some food he could eat in between classes, so he wasn't waiting until lunch. Once he was ready, I followed him out to the car, carefully getting in, before he got in the car as well.

Eric smiled a little at her and then drove to school. He was driving a little faster than he should have so they could get there in time. He quickly got out and helped her out before he started inside. They would have time to go to their lockers but they would still have to hurry.

"Okay Eric, be careful," I say to him quietly as he drove, knowing that he was driving faster to save time. Once we were at school, he helped me out of the car, and we started walking to our lockers as fast as we could(which for me, wasn't very fast at all). It was a bit difficult getting my books out of my locker, but when I had what I needed, I walked with Eric to our first class.

Eric helped her and waited for her before he went to class with her. He sat down and was glad that they walked in right before the bell. He was still really tired and was worried he would fall asleep in his next class but was hoping that he wouldn't. He went through that class and did the worksheets before looking at his girlfriend and getting her bag. "I will walk you to class." He said to her.
