At least the next part I'd be able to handle easily, failure. Of course that's going to happen after a character asks what could go wrong. Everything goes wrong. "Okay," I say to the note about keeping the tables clean, and then it says my character goes and stands behind the counter. I look around the room, getting up and standing behind my desk.

Eric acted like he was in the back cooking some food like his character was doing. He walked over to her with a plate of food. "A man will walk in and you will hand him this food. Don't talk to him. He has black curly hair and green eyes." He said to her and set it down before walking away.

"Don't talk to him?" I mumble to myself with a frown. "Well that doesn't seem very polite. I can at least say hello." I wait for a moment, then pretend I see the man Eric had mentioned. "Hello sir, I believe this food is for you," I say with a bright smile.

Eric's character walked over to her and shuddered a quick apology. "Great! You can't follow one simple direction?!? I said to not talk to him and now my best customer may never come back!" He said loudly after the man had supposedly walked out. "I can't have you working here if you can't follow the instructions!"

I frown, pretending as if I didn't know what I did wrong. "I was just trying to be polite to him. Why wouldn't I greet the costumer?" As he talks about not having me work here, I glance at my lines and beg, "no please! I'll try to be better, I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

"Because he is not just any customer! He is the owner of this and many other establishments! He doesn't want to interact with any of his employees ever and that is why I said to not say anything! He is the one acceptation to who you should greet! I can't have someone who will not listen!"

Frowning, I say, "I'm sorry, I didn't know." Then I touch his forearm hesitantly, only because it says so in the script. "Can't you give me just one more chance?"

Eric looked down at her hand on his forearm. Then he sighed. "It is not...it's not my rules...it is his...I can see what I can do." He said and looked back up at her face.

"Thank you," I tell him, looking into his eyes with a kind smile. My hand is still on his arm when the door suddenly opens. I snap out of it, taking my hand of his arm. It was Quinn, my little sister. "What are you doing? Who's that?" The young girl questioned, she had brown hair pulled back into a braid and chocolate brown eyes.

Eric snaps his head to the door and smiles. "Hi I am Eric. We are working on practicing our scene for school so believe me, it is not what you are probably thinking." He said to her. He was calm again and out of his character as soon as she had walked in the door.
