"You say that like it's a bad thing, and dessert is never a bad thing," Jared replied pointedly, tilting his head and clapping his hands together softly to further accentuate the statement.

Erik chuckled as he watched, "Well, what do you want for dessert?" he asked as he got a menu from the waitress so that Jared could choose what he wanted.

Jared accepted the menu with a smile and began to carefully inspect every dish under the dessert tab. Finally he shifted the menu so it was laying between the both of them on the table and pointed to the one here wanted. "That looks amazing right now," he remarked, speaking about the strawberry cheesecake he was pointing at.

"Mm, a cheesecake man, I love it.' he said as he ordered them each a piece happily and then looked back at Jared, "I love cheesecake." he said with a grin as he looked at Jared happily and watched him, "I am glad about my choices now, it makes things much better."

Jared started to laugh at Erik's reply. "Oh really? I couldn't tell..." he teased as he lifted his hand to cover his mouth in an attempt to stile his laughter. "And it's good to see you're so confident in your ability to make decisions now."

Erik laughed, "Well it's just as fun to sit through something that the other person doesn't enjoy." he chuckled as he looked over at Jared with a smile. He looked at the man he was having dinner with and couldn't help but grin, Jared was good looking, and kind, and his smile was wonderful.

Jared sat there shaking his head with an amused grin. "I'm sure some would find that debatable, but if it floats your boat to believe that, then by all means... don't let me change your mind." He looked up at Erik, completely oblivious to his thoughts.

Erik chuckled, "I was joking." he smiled as he reached over and gently put his hand on Jared's with a grin, "But I do like seeing that grin on your face." he said. He was happy he'd ran into Jared that day, and he was going to enjoy this well it lasted, he knew that they'd at least have this weekend. So he was going to see how well Jared could handle this lifestyle.

Jared made a face for not having realized that it had been a joke, but relaxed it when he felt Erik's hand. "well, you'll be seeing it for a long while," he promised in response to Erik's compliment. Erik was the one causing Jared's expression of happiness, so as long as he was around, Jared would certainly be grinning like a fool.

Erik smiled as he looked at Jared, "Well I am glad then." he said happily, "You really are quiet amazing, you know that." he informed Jared happily. He really was a handsome fellow, and Jared was happily grinning, before a moment later their cheesecake arrived. He smiled and happily took a bite of his.
