"That's the problem, I have no idea! You could have nearly anything planned and half of it would be things I could never dream of doing normally. Or it could be something so simple as camping or spending a weekend at a beach of some lazy hotel. Jared answered with a note of exasperation in his voice but a warm grin on his face.

"Well whatever it is, I hope you'll like it." Erik smiled as he watched, "Do you want me to tell you?" he asked as he studied Jared, "If you don't like surprises I can tell you." he said as he watched. He knew surprises weren't for some people, so he'd let Jared tell him if it was okay or not.

"No, I don't mind surprises. In fact I really like them. It's just that when I know I'm not being told something, my curiosity drives me up the wall. Jared explained. However, he was grateful for Erik's offer to reveal what they would be doing if it would make him feel better.

Erik smiled as he looked at him, "I promise it's good surprises Jared, this is all supposed to be nice and good." he reassured as he squeezed Jared's hand with a happy smile and kissed it once more.

"I wouldn't expect anything else from you," he replied with another smile. "And so far, it's been very nice. And I'm sure the rest of the weekend will be just as good.""

"I am glad." Erik smiled as he watched and relaxed as they food came, "Ready to dig in?" he asked happily as he inhaled the delicious scent. He was ready to eat his fill and hoped that Jared would like it.

He leaned back the slightest bit so that the plates could be put down onto the table and grinned at Erik's obvious enthusiasm for the dish. "I most certainly am," Jared answered as he reluctantly let go of his hand to pick up his utensils and begin eating.

Erik smiled a she began to eat as well, he grinned, "Just like in Italy." he said happily as he enjoyed the food, smiling over at Jared as he watched for his reaction, wanting to see what he thought of the food.

"I'll take your word for it," he muttered with amusement before taking his first bite of the chicken parmesan. Immediately after his first mouthful, he began to eagerly continue to work his way through the rest of the food. He had always thought chicken parmesan was okay, but every other time he had eaten it, the chicken was too dry for his taste. Here everything was cooked to as close to perfection that Jared had ever tasted.

Erik smiled as he watched and happily ate, "I will have to take you sometime so you can see for yourself.' he said offhandedly as he cut another piece of chicken happily, he meant it though, he made plans, even if he knew they wouldn't happen, Jared would probably be long gone by next month more then likely, overwhelmed by Erik being himself.
