Jared laughed and shook his head at Erik's declaration as he stepped up into the jeep. He settled into his seat and looked over as Erik climbed in on the driver's side. "You're ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. You know that?" He grinned and leaned over to quickly kiss Erik's cheek before he could start driving away just yet. "But also absolutely amazing!"

Erik smiled, 'Oh, I know I am ridiculous." he laughed, "But what is life without a little fun?" he said as he began driving after the kiss to the cheek, "I am glad you appreciate it Jared." He relaxed as he began to look for an A&W, "This may surprise you with how charming I am, but a lot of people think I am annoying." he smiled.

"You most certainly are charming, and if you want me to be honest, that isn't the least bit surprising. For one thing, I know what you mean since I have people who feel the same way about me. For two, I'm pretty sure everyone has people who think they are annoying, including the most saint like person you can think of. And the more amazing you are the more people think you're annoying. He said with a shrug as he glanced over at Erik.

Erik smiled as he listened to him, "Sure you aren't a philosophy major?" he asked with a teasing smile as he looked over at his date for a moment before focusing on the road. "Hey, can you do me a favour?" he asked, "As much as I like driving around aimlessly, I don't want you starving, so can you search for A&W on the GPS?" he aske.d

"Positive," he answered the teasing with a grin. "And sure, though I'm not going to starve just because we don't find an A&W." He rolled his eyes but still pulled out his phone and looked up the nearest A&W, which was on the other side of the city explaining why Jared had never seen it before. He turned on the audio directions and let the phone guide Erik.

Erik chuckled, "I meant on the car GPS so it wouldn't kill your battery, but that works.' he said as he drove happily, heading to the far side of the city, which would be nearly a thirty minute drive, but he didn't mind very much.

I have one of those battery sticks and even if I didn't, I left my phone on the charger in the breakroom at work, so the batteries fine. But thank you for being concerned about it." he said with a wave of his hand. "Are you sure you don't mind doing this?" Jared asked curiously after a minute.

Erik nodded as he listened, he chuckled, "I don't mind at all Jared, I love being able to do things for others." he said with a now, "Plus you have got me craving a burger, thanks." he said with a chuckle. "And I like spending my parent's wealth while I have it." he said with a smile.

"You're welcome,"Jared replied sarcastically with and eye roll. He straightened up and looked over at Erik at his last comment. "What do you mean 'while you have it" You make it seem like you're going to lose it, and then what would you do?"

Erik chuckled at the sarcasm, but he smiled as he drove happily, he glanced over at Jared when he spoke again. He shrugged, "My parent's don't really approve of my decisions, so they will probably one day decided they don't want me as a kid anymore, and snip, they will cut me off entirely." he told him. "And I am not sure what I will do, I have always had their money, I have never really worked in my life, so I guess I will see what happens when they do. I'll probably fail miserably, but I am sure I will survive." he said with a smile, always the optimist.
