"Yep, I'll see you then." Jared said grinning back at him once he had gotten out as well. He began to walk towards his dorm but stopped and turned back to Erik before he had gone more than a few steps. "Oh, hey. Can I see your phone real quick?" he asked as he stepped up to Erik's side.

Erik smiled, "I thought you'd never ask." he said as he handed it over to the other boy, a sleek smartphone, one of the newer models, in a heavy duty case.

Jared rolled his eyes and shook his head at Erik's response, but smiled up at him as he took the phone. He quickly pulled up the contacts page and typed in his number, but left the rest of the page blank. "Here you go," he said as he carefully handed Erik his phone back, the contact page still open.

Erik smiled and typed in some more info before he saved it, "See you later." he smiled, he kissed Jared's cheek before he headed away to get to his class. He didn't want to be late, he wanted to do good at his classes in honesty, not because they were scared of losing funding.

" 'Kay" Jared called after him softly, watching Erik go for a few seconds before turning and heading to his dorm. When he got there he walked over to his desk and piled his phone out of his bag as he sat down. He sighed with frustration when he saw the barely five minutes had pasted since he and Erik had parted ways. Nine 'o clock was going to take forever to get there. With another sigh, Jared powered up his laptop and pulled out his essay from that morning, figuring he would pass the time by making sure all his assignments were caught up since he had been pushing a lot of them off for the past few days.

Erik enjoyed his class, an art history class, much to his parent's dismay, he was not following what they had wanted, actually pretty much the opposite, and he was doing it out of spite partially. Erik had no idea what he wanted to do, so right now he was doing things he wanted to do, and taking classes he wanted to learn about it.

Jared was failing spectacularly at getting his work done. He had managed to get his essay typed up and do one reading assignment before he had begun to mess with his phone. Now it had been almost an hour since he had started messing around and he was laying on his back on the floor with his bare feet propped up against the wall. He had his earbuds in and was listening to on of his many playlists as loud as he could stand while he continued to mess with his phone. He glanced at the time, which was crawling by at a torturous pace, and sighed. His thoughts turned to Erik and Jared wonder what the other man was doing at the moment. He shook his head and scolded himself that he needed to get to work... right after the next song, his concentration returning to his phone.

When Erik finished class he headed out happily, he looked at his phone, two hours still till their date. He decided to text Jared though, Hey handsome, make sure you get all your work done, I may want to keep you out late. he texted happily as he walked towards a bench at the quad, he needed to get hs own work done.

Jared quickly checked the text when his phone dinged and scoffed, raising his eyebrows as he read it. Who said I can't pull an all nighter if I want to? he sent back, figuring the sender was Erik. However, he got up with a groan and picked up one of his reading assignments, going back and sitting on the floor where he had been a moment before.

Who said you wouldn't be pulling an all nighter? Erik texted back to him teasingly before he got back to work. He wanted to have his assignments finished so he could have a free night with him.
